-Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: I'm a freshman in highschool that loves to play pc games. Watching videos on the internet and playing minecraft help me relax, and that's usually what I spend my time doing when I'm not busy with school.
-How much time could you be on the server weekly?: Aside from Tuesday, I can be on any day after school.
-How long have you played minecraft?: I've been playing minecraft just short of a year.
-What do you know about roleplaying? How long have you been doing it? What kind?: Roleplaying is all about making a character and living in a world through the character's eyes. Other characters and factors are outside your control, so it is your job as the player to react to everything as your character would, keeping you on your toes. Roleplaying is all about the relationships you form with other characters and forming an adventure by random acts. You don't know where your character will end up, or who they will end up becoming friends, lovers, and enemies with. It's all up to chance, and roleplaying with other good players. It wrecks immersion when someone screws up grammar or spelling or acts completely out of character, so it is important to avoid such things. As for myself, I've been roleplaying on mmorpgs for about a year now, and through text based forums with my sister.
-What do you expect this server will be like?: I expect this server to be a ton of fun, and hopefully I will get to meet a bunch of interesting new faces. Just from looking at the trailer and what my sister said, this place seems to be a minecraft experience like no other.
-What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: Aside from playing on small servers with my friends, I haven't been on any other servers before this one.
-Have you read, understood, and agreed to the rules? What about the lore?: I understand the rules and agree to them completely, since they all make sense in a big server like this.

-Character Name: Maya Therdul

-Biography: Maya was raised in Laurelin, under the watchful eye of her father, a bookkeeper by trade. Her mother, however, was never around to truly raise her. The woman was a perfume maker by trade, and she would travel out into the wilds in order to get her ingredients, for they were too poor to pay someone for the work. One evening, she didn't come home, probably traveling too far out into the woods and couldn't come back before the monsters came out. However, there were talks that maybe she just ran away from Maya's father, wanting to live a more exciting life than one a book maker could give. Maya would fiercely defend her father's honor on that part, strongly believing that that wasn't the case. They were a happy family, and no rumor would destroy the few happy memories that Maya still had. However, the mystery of her mother's disappearance still hung over her, and to this day she still hopes to find a definite answer.
She spent most of her life in Laurelin bettering her skills at archery and surviving out in the wilds. Often she would leave for days on end only to come back to her father's bookshop bruised and battered with a bunch of food and a wolf she tamed at her side. Hunting and archery were a release for her, and the wolves that she tamed were some of the few creatures she could love without having to worry about gossip and patronizing glances. She would compete and do well in archery competitions ((mostly novice ones, since she is still pretty young for an elf)) in her homeland, and her success garnered up a rivalry with a certain elven man name Sidar Solariavel. They would go toe to toe in every contest, each winning by the smallest of margins. Maya and Sidar grew to hate each other, and Sidar often plotted plans to cheat his way to victory.
However, Maya didn't pay all too much attention to Sidar, or many other elves that she came across. The only exception was Jadeth, an apprentice that was hired by her father when she was away practicing. Jadeth and her father were both incredibly similar, they had that love of books, writing, and not traveling out into the woods that Maya just couldn't understand. She thought she would be jealous of this Jadeth guy, but after talking to him in the bookshop often, the Maya managed to become his friend. He didn't know it, but actually, Jadeth was Maya's first and only friend. However, in Sidar's eyes, this Jadeth guy was also her weakness.
The night before a major archery competition, Sidar approached Maya, threatening that he would harm Jadeth if she didn't leave the elven city she had come to know. Maya knew she couldn't defend Jadeth from this guy, and, without a second though, oblidged. She left without saying a word to her father or Jadeth, hoping that her silence would protect the both of them. However, she should be more concerned about protecting herself from the dangers outside of Malinor.
-Character Age: 100
-Character Appearance: She likes the color blue, and most of her regular attire is of this color. However, she isn't afraid to throw on some leather armor to get all camouflaged. Maya has long blond hair and bright blue eyes, and she has scars from practice that wreck her form.
-Character Personality: Being calm, cool, and confident, Maya seems to be a useful elf to have around. However, she is rather distant and standoffish when it comes to talking to people. Maya is a bit of a lone wolf, and doesn't automatically leap into confrontations that mean nothing to her. It doesn't help that her social skills are lacking for an elf, and it's hard for her to talk without putting her foot in her mouth. She would rather give off that intimidating cold impression than having to go through the effort of talking with people at all.
Maya does have a softer side, though, but very few are close enough to her that can see it. She deeply cares for the creatures of the forest (wolves especially) and often goes out of her way to protect and defend animals from being mistreated. She also has the patience of a saint, seeing how she hasn't smacked her wimpy friend upside the head yet. Maya is deeply loyal to her friends, and will do anything in her power to protect them.
-Your ambitions: Maya's ideal world would be to roam out in the wilds forever with many pet wolves at her side. However, her desires to protect Laurelin and the people she cares about take priority over this. She also wants to find definite proof about her mother's fate, so she finally put that doubt to rest.
-Can your character read or write?: Maya can read and write decently, but she isn't a fan of writing stories and lore. Maya just uses said talents for practical purposes like letter writing.
-Can your character mine?: She would rather not be underground as often as mining requires, but Maya has tried mining once or twice.
-Are you a capable builder? Maya can build decent looking shelters, but she isn't the greatest architect. She would rather have a simple, practical home.
-Can you wield a sword?: She can, but not as well as she can wield her trusty bow and arrow.
-Enjoy Farming?: Yes, a long day out in the fields helps her relax, oddly enough.
-Does your character have any special skills?: Maya believes that she has a way with animals, but this isn't exactly proven.
