Have not been roleplaying on the LotC server so much because I am role playing here.

I am starting up a series that follows the storyline of my character Sir Rowin and the whole story of Dark Souls II

The idea is to mainly just give viewers the entire perspective with all the cutscenes, deaths and choices a common player makes.

2 episodes are up so far because they may as well be considered one.

I would love feedback.

For a while I had been considering doing a series in LotC, as a wandering ghost, looking into players lives from an out of body perspective.

I suggest that whenever you, as players slay a monster, it should be your responsibility to help imagine up a new one to take it's place.

Like cutting down a tree and replacing it's sapling for the next player.

This may also cut down on the number of players rushing to slay monsters and clear the board if they have to take the time to make an entirely new monster with behavior, territory and lore on the board in place of the previous.

*A fortday or so later, a crowd is bustling within The Leaky Gobbo. Many an Orc are singing songs of old battles fought, great beasts slain, and great wars to come.

All around are different aspects of Orckish culture represented. Lovers and fighters, the stoic and boisterous, elderly and the young, educated and the thick skulled, high commanding officials and common sloppy goblins. All stuffed in this chaotically maintained, dank candle lit, orangish green slime bucket of a bar.

    Many activities, games and conversations are taking place.

Among them, in one of the more well lit booths closer to the center, with a large gathering of listeners piled against one another over seats and supported by table ledges, they heed the word of this one fellow, Belrag'Lur whose right leg is planted upon the tabletop, bent at the kneecap perpendicular to waist, with right arm rested atop that right knee, bent at the elbow, grasping an overfilled and spilling tankard of hard ale, while left leg, contrary to his right, stays put on the flooring of the establishment holding his balance. His left arm alternates from holding his hip, to gesturing hand motions whilst he speaks to the crowd after gaining their attention who were previously singing a song of a great hunt.*

"Mi Blah noh bradduahz, Belrag'Lur hab bubhush rukqwest!"

(Translation from Blah to Common:"If I may speak now friends, for I have a proposition to put forth!")

*Those around respond in unison for the speaker to carry on!*

“Mi axe lat, bruddahz, hoh kun lat razizt da bettur lak ub kunzdunt Klomp!? Der is nub ‘nuf war! Mi hungur fer pain…[Can’t be bothered to “translate” this all into Blah so just imagine]      

("I ask you, my dear countrymen, how can you stand the bitter lack of daily combat?  There is not enough war, battle or fight in my day to day routine to maintain my satisfaction required for a healthy living. I hunger for the pain of flesh wounds and scarred tissue. I need to end every day with one more kill to my name, to hear the clash of steel, the cries of the fallen and my chain mail drenched a dripping red with the fresh splash of stolen gore. And you? Do not your blades rust and fall dull with old age and misuse?! Then I say we give purpose of our un-antagonized time and bring the fight to those who wish to meet it!”)

*The crowd erupts in an uproar of ecstatic cheer!*

(“I’m in search of four able bodied raiders to join my conquest in seek of the hunt, glory, bounty, adventure, bloodlust, and anecdotes to tell our cubs!

We shall slay great terrors that threaten our homes, harvest scalps of those who oppose our path, and travel the land and seas over pillaging and plundering all we wish as our right as sons of Krug! We will roam like the raven and slay like the wolf, what say you?!”)

What is this racket?

This is a guild without ranks, only roles who all share the responsibility as leader(at least in the role play sense in-game, I will surely be managing a lot). A tight squad who are adequate pvpers who prefer the pve scenarios. Who role play so much so, they use the /walk feature most frequently(which may not be so frequent that goes with being in such an action packed group).

No real rules. Whatever you do is at mine and the groups discretion to deal with you how we see fit. For instance I may boot you for any reason at anytime. I am elitist like that aiming for my niche.

The main idea is to have a specialized raiding party as a special squadron within the Krughai that allows us to go monster hunter, dungeon crawling, pvp confrontations and explore when we want and be on call for it.

I also plan to record our endeavors via Fraps or just screen shots with written accounts so our guild has an actual, factual, historical background in LotC.

-VA for at Least Type A Murder(Prefered list of VA Certs: 1a, 1b, 2a and 2c)

-Helps to be of the Lur Clan and a member of the Wolf Bloodline at that.

-A skill to provide for the team in the form of a role may also help your acceptance, things like being a shaman or witch doctor(Able to use potions and other magics), beast master(has approved usage of destructive creatures), bow marksmen(Is actually a good shot). That sort of thing.

-4 guildmate slots available

-West Coast North American UTC -8 Pacific Standard Time based, but are open to all.

It may eventually open up to other races and a larger member pool, and perhaps sooner than later, but this is a guild with role play roots starting from the dirt taking the most babiest of steps. This “guild” may even evolve into the makings of a new thieves guild.

Guild hall is yet undetermined,(To be done IC) but we will be meeting at least weekly over TS starting before the end of October and getting some of those monster slaying quests completed to begin as well as armed robberies on highways, dueling strangers, looting and pillaging the wilds.

How to To Join

Simply respond below as if you are among the crowd in the bar or however you wish to enter the scene IC. I suggest you state you name, titles and honors, skills and abilities, choice weapon and what you seek and anything else you can think of that will make my character approve of yours. My character does not know the common language, only Blah but I may respond RPly in english. In case you do, please clarify.

*In a corner booth sits Belrag'Lur.

He has by his side a large collection of all species of fish in a bag fashioned out of what may used to be an animal.

In font oh him on the table are some fish poorly cooked and other fish completely raw. He looks to be taste testing them.

He looks over to Gronkk and looks unsatisfied, as if he wishes his fish tasted more like Gronkks delicacies.  

I have decided to roll an Orc this time around, thank you everyone for your suggestions and invitations. As soon as Belrag'Lur dies I will likely be contacting one of you again to move on to a new character.

The warmest community I remember. I love you all so much. So so much.

Well shoot so many choices! I have always played as human and every now and again as halfling and then many other small roles on the event team but I guess I should choose something else this time.

Perhaps I will rapid fire through characters starting with the die hard orcs, hard core roleplay mode, one life all or nothing, die. Then move on to the elves, die, become a peasant, and die or rise to the noble house mentioned.  

EDIT:Regarding the thieves guild and such, I never saw myself as good a leader at it, as Cataris was and I feel I would just end up adding to the cluttered mess that is forgotten guilds, dead houses, and fallen nations. Perhaps though I may re consider it.

I have lost all of my loot that was once stashed aboard my ship back in Asulon and do miss it all so.

With that in mind, becoming a thief again may just be in the cards once more.

((Fell off the grid a while back and now I am looking to return to the game.

I used to be on the event team but left the whole server entirely when I was unable to play on a capable computer. I now have a high functioning tower once again and am looking to re-join the community and mayhaps reapply for the event team.

In the mean time I am looking to join an active group among the Human Roleplay kingdoms. Halfling's included.

My preference is to join a highly active and large kingdom or house, starting from the bottom and working my way into knighthood. Perhaps some Baron or higher ranking person needs a squire I may play as, or some noble is just looking for another player to play as their son.

Or if someone is looking to make a strong human military I can dedicate my time to I would love to join as the low ranking guard and work my way to low-rank knight if possible.

If not my militaristic preference, I am willing to play other roles that need filling as long as you have an active group. Be it anything else. It can even be a peasant shoveling mud. 

I feel it is better, rather than make an entirely brand new character with an entirely made up and unrelated background, it is best to work off other pre existing characters and have a more inclusive biography/background.)) 

I do not need a copy myself, but it would be nice to know I have contributed a book to the library. If it is to much, I won't be angry if you don't type it word for word making an abridged version or spicing it with your own take on the story perhaps fleshing it out better or just making edits. Yes please though.

Sure a lot of people are well immersed in the Lord of the Craft universe and are exemplary story tellers that have mastered the art of group inclusive role play and most of these players have applied for the event team positions, but here is what separates Issa from all the others:

She is dedicated to the dot when it comes to getting the work of role play done. It is one thing to be a master role player like Isa_girl, but it has become a reoccurring problem within the event team of inactive members and lazy effort (I even take responsibility for this myself) on the role play even though they have shown great ability in their story teller skills before even being accepted. I promise you, Issa will be your most reliable asset that you will always be able to assign her with the big roles and the most responsibility because she will always be there for you and the MVP of our team.

On top of that, I have never met a player so mature and direct when it comes to doing the right thing right. There is no concept of abuse in her programming, and there is no concept of error in following direction.

You can rest assured that when you hire Issa Girl, she will work the hardest, deliver the most role playing power you have ever experienced, will stay among the most active members on the force and overall drive the already best and most organized, over accomplished, commanded team effort among the admin groups to the top, to forever remain.

A Sea side tavern near a human settlement is bustling with commotion in the night. Out the front doors stumbles Dash Rogers along with a number of others, all belting out in a rum buzzed roar, songs of merriment as they slowly depart ways. Dash himself moves on to the notice board and catches a glimpse of the note.

With great interest seen in his illuminated eyes and great smile, he takes from his bags, a corked bottle of ink, a quill and paper, to post along side the inquiring note, Dash's resume that included his experiences as a naval captain in the Holm navy, his fishing ship exploits, crossing the planes from Aegis to Asulon, taking the skin fungal infected bovines aboard his ship to transport back to the mainland for trade and many others. He includes information of where he can be found and at what times to be easily found.

After tacking up the reply, Dash begins to move along and away.

Question:

Ender chests are not really banks at all with a deposit? Only instant transactions? As in, it would be useless as a thief to try and rob it?

I'm so happy. Before I use to let it rain on people with diamonds, but now I can actually make it rain Mina and it won't cost as much!

Yea bisms map is really awesome, but it's still not the most useful thing for new players. At the end of this, we all need to come together to make a map that is actually helpful in defining the main roads, standout landmarks, nation borders and regions clearly labeled.

Can u guys add a glass mug recipe to replace using buckets to drink things like milk and ale???

I suggest using tyrions official LotC texture pack for this problem.

We work like a council here at TMTG I am the Spokesmen/Guild leader but for decisions like new members we all taking into account various aspects beyond your app. Josh has made helpful suggestions in his reply but he has not accepted, denied or notified the rest of us for the discussion that is now taking place about your app. You will know if you are denied or accepted.

Notice when I said things are "Serious", I used the word 'Now' at the begging and end of the sentence. Shows how "foot down" I am about this topic.

Dash_Rogers: At the very least, all you need is the thievery. I prefer that as well.

Dash_Rogers: That works perfectly fine. We will not accept you till the VA is done so your App will be dusty, and we may have our decision already, but we wont tell you. Maybe we will tell you if you are denied but that's just so you can get on with your life.

That would allow me to include a few more features that I wanted to add in, but I will consult with my team though about this vote.

EDIT: Yes please, my team has voted for it. With this extra time, we can make not just pretty maps, but really helpful and detailed maps.
