  5. Prices are most likely going to be altered. Theres no way of knowing now what the economy will be like, and we ARE willing to make deals on houses. Its just a basis of what to go with.

Also, Im VERY open to suggestions from everyone. Just post your ideas and we will work to get what you want.

  6. Hello Everyone! So, we have been hard at work designing the buildings we will use on 3.0 in Kastoria. We have come up with the standard house designs, as well as a few of the shops, and will be posting pictures and info about them on here. You will also be able to request one of these houses to be built/reserved for you, so you are guaranteed a home on 3.0. We have tried hard to give you adequate sized homes, for a decent price and cheap taxes. Also, if you have a problem with anything, or any suggestions, just leave a post and we will get to it!

Here we have our standard small sized home, which will be seen frequently on the edges of town, and out in the farms or forests. It offers you a small kitchen and dining area on the first floor, with a loft sleeping area. Each home also comes with a small yard for a garden. Basement dug on request of buyer.

    Price: 1000 minas
Tax: 3 stacks of wheat per elven week

This is our medium sized home that we offer. It is the main style built in the city, able to accommodate a small family. The first floor boasts a lovely dining nook, fireplace, kitchen and sitting area. On the second level you will find an office area, along with the first bedroom. Nestled up in the top of the house is the master bedroom. A basement will be dug on request of buyer.

    Price: 3000 minas

Tax: 3 stacks of log per elven week

Finally we have come to the largest home we offer to residents. Note that only four of these homes will be built in the city to start. The main floor is quite spacious, with a stairwell and vaulted ceilings in the main entryway. Coming up the first set of stairs, going either left or right brings you to a large open floor with access to a balcony. The third floor, nestled up in the roof, is the perfect place for bedrooms, with access to the tower for a view of the city. These homes will be furnished to the requests of the buyer. A basement will be dug on request of buyer.

    Price:10000 minas

Tax: 15 iron per elven week.

    20130217170859.png

The first of our shops up for offer is the blacksmith. Equipped with a large forge, any smith would be happy here. The first floor serves as a shop, with an enclosed workplace to keep all those pesky clients out. The second floor is living quarters for at least two people. This is the ONLY blacksmith in the whole city, so business should go well. Don't forget the option of a basement for plenty of storage.

    Price: 10000 minas

Tax: 400 minas per elven week

    20130217170528.png

Here we have the quaint city bakery. Inside is plenty of room on the first floor, with a large baking oven tucked into the tower. Upstairs is enough room for the baker to live comfortably. A basement will be dug on request of buyer.

    Price: 3000 minas

Tax: 200 minas per elven week

    20130217170826.png

This four story tavern has plenty to boast. The main floor has plenty of seating with a nice bar nestled in the back. Upstairs you will find three bedrooms to rent out, ready for guests. On the third floor is living quarters for the owner and his family, with a loft for sleeping. Basement dug on buyers request.

    Price: 13000 minas

Tax: 400 minas per elven week

    20130217170756.png

This smaller tavern has plenty of use. The first floor is all seating and the bar, with a front and side entrance which leads in back to the stable. The second floor boasts a long storage room for the bar supplies. Two rooms can be rented out here, one with a balcony. A ladder will take you up to a loft above the bedrooms, useful for sleeping or storage. Basement dug on buyers request.

Small stalls will also be scattered throughout the city, perfect for small time shop owners.

    Price: 750 minas

    Taxes: NONE!

Note: More buildings will be posted here, so keep checking back.

    Questions/Complaints:

  7. The Ashworthy's were not a very numerous family. Living humbly in their burrow outside of Al'khazar during the days of Aegis, they were swept up into the city life as it expanded. Ma and Pa Ashworthy had always wanted to move to Branborough, but could never find the way. The location was half secret, ya know. In the meantime, they raised what they knew as a common Ashworthy child.

Milas Ashworthy was not very tall, as most halflings are not. But he was characteristically known for his sharp green eyes, ever since he was a baby. They were brighter then the average Ashworthy's, probably meaning he was destined to go somewhere. His messy brown hair was an easy way to identify him as well, seeing that not many halflings grow theirs as long as his. But, being a city halfling his entire life, he didn't quite know everything about the average halfling.

Milas wasn't all that great at farming, either. Sure he could do it, any halfling could. But there was not much space in the city to be working on sprawling fields. He tried working the farms once, in Oren. They were just too set on production, and Milas could help but snack as he picked. Took him all day to fill a single basket. Needless to say, that job didn't last long. But what he couldn't do in farming, he made up for in his cooking and brewing. Milas had plenty time to do that in the city, lazy humans never wanting to cook for themselves. He was well accustomed to working with herbs and spices, and flavoring a whole leg of ale with nothing but a willow branch. Cooking, is where Milas would make his mark.

Saying goodbye to Ma and Pa Ashworthy, Milas quickly left home in the city and hopped the first floating leg to Kalos. He was determined to fill his parents dream of living in the halfling filled country side, and destined to find a burrow of his own. Perhaps his cooking would come into play, here. Perhaps he would brew wondrous ales, and cook feasts fit for kings, but only time would tell.

We so do sign in the eyes of Aeriel, the Old Gods, and the Creator

    Signed,

Celthric Amedaius the 3rd, High Lord of Eyveror

Reynard Lycian, High Lord of Eyveror.

*The following amendment to the Constitution shall be enacted from this moment on*

No official of the Kingdom of Eyveror may hold a title outside the kingdom that shall sway, judge, or give power to others over them that may threaten, harm, or bias the kingdom in such a way that harms our persons or laws herein.

  11. I really don't think this decision should have been made without asking the playerbase. It is something that affects a lot of people, and the form of half-breeds that people were playing seemed to be widely accepted. Why must we make rules on things that the majority of the playerbase has a problem with? Not everything should be the decision of a select few. Sorry, but I don't agree at all with this. Half breeds should not just have the curses, benefits should come along with it.

  13. I don't really feel that GM's and Admins should be allowed to hold high positions of power in RP. It creates a lot of tension for people during times of war, and just gives that group too much of an advantage. It really prevents RP in a way. People don't really want to go up against a GM in RP, knowing they are at the disadvantage. Normal players should hold the positions of power, keeping things a lot less restricted.

"Well, looks like I finally became Duke. Lots of work to be done now.."

*grins widely, loving the fact he is now Duke of Norjun.*
