  1. The Laureh'thilln is hereby disbanded and all its members considered null and void. All past members will assume no rank in the military and must re-enlist.

Any attempt to continue claiming such title will result in swift imprisonment.

As ordered by the Evarir'thilln, and approved by the Sohaer.

    Receives orders from Rael only.

  2. In a bright morning within the Silver City, the citizens and allowed visitor would find something off in this normally pleasant day. The children played in fields and lecture halls would be cracked open to let a breeze in.

But still, something was off... You look around the lands and hills and notice one thing; the color is gone. Upon investigation it would be noticed that the flowers in the city are all gone...

  3. There's no real reason for so many characters to be as they are. They were made the way there were with no character progression. Magnus was tricked into becoming a Dread Knight with promises of power and immortality, which he craved. I had a solid two years with him before he became a 'villain' at all. I understand where both of you are coming from.

A villain needs to have actually character progression, not a made up bio because that's ****-tier roleplay and a poor excuse to be a bad guy. Look at the White Rose. They were technically 'villains', with great character background.

  4. Alright, does the lord has a will of it own ?

Or does he, as well, take orders from someone ?

Since the Dread Knight rebellion in 2.0 when Mogroka had to abandon the Blood Mages, the Dread Knights are bound to a Dread Lord who is autonomous. There's currently a split in which some Dread Knights have returned to the original power of the Blood Mages.
  5. do i have to roleplay with the other edgy dreadknights or can i do my own thing just killin ****

Dread Knights aren't supposed to be edgy in the slightest. If they are Id recommend informing the proper authorities on the matter for rectification.

    An introduction to Dread Knights

Section I - What are Dread Knights?
Section II - How do I start?
Section III - What do I do when I'm not killing?
Section IV - I lost a fight, now what?
    Section V - Providing a Setting
Section VI - A high standard

Section I - What are Dread Knights?

This is a fairly straightforward question, that being they are artificial constructs. While some still hold their former bodies within their armor it holds no real purpose. This is only part what they are, however. Basically they're soulbound to a suit of armor and driven by their orders. A Dread Knight cannot effectively command itself, as it is made for taking orders and carrying them out. It's like putting a golem in charge of an army.

Section II - How do I start?

Well first off, you should know that being a Dread Knight makes you a bad guy. That's it, anyone who tells you otherwise is wrong simply and plainly. A good first task might be going with another more senior Dread Knight and to kill a few people, to give you some hands on experience.

    0r4doC5.jpg

You should not by any means have your character pulling a Thing from Fantastic Four and go and try and be normal again, as your mentality is different. You are not by any means a person anymore, you're a machine that takes orders.

Section III - What about when I'm not killing?

Well if you're actually on the character, most of your time is spent between killing and making repairs, forging new armor and weapons and of course capturing individuals got a conversion.

    Ge61A85.jpg

As well, Dread Knights can sometimes serve as an emissary for their Blood Mage master, usually the message heralded by blood and a warning. However keep in mind your Dread Knight isn't going to be picking flowers and kissing babies, something that has been a problem recently.

Section IV - I lost a fight, now what?

Good news! This isn't the end of your character! While you may not be revived by Monks, you aren't exactly dead. Nor are you really alive for that matter but it is irrelevant. It's hard to actually kill a Dread Knight, and it has always been a thing we pride ourselves on, that if you kill one properly we will permanently kill that character no questions, however sufficiency in the RP is required.

If your Dread Knight happens to find itself taken apart and scattered or pieces broken, eventually the parts will seek themselves or the entity will choose to disconnect themselves from that part, sort of of a salamander chooses to detach a limb.

    5DMT4J1.jpg

Often times, Dread Knights missing limbs will simply make a new one if they cannot find the original one, or it is too hard or illogical to retrieve it.

    Section V - Providing a Setting

As an antagonistic villain, you are held to a higher standard of Roleplay and are not only expected to, but required to uphold that standard. You are not playing this character for the loot, you're doing it to provide a villain that can be rallied against and that causes chaos.

    bAD1kjK.jpg

Too often did the role get abused for pixels or winning when that isn't the cause. The purpose is like the Undead were originally, to make fun. Sadly the Undead failed in this and we have before previously but all hope is not lost.

A big part of this, is helping to coordinate events OOCly with faction or group leaders and maybe making a quest arc. If you do it right, you'll know because you'll be told.

Section VI - A high standard

I mentioned this briefly, how we are held to a high standard and expected to uphold it. In Asulon, the purpose of the Dread Knights was as a server antagonist. Unfortunately this fell through due to the heads of the group being preoccupied with other roleplay and such.

    vjSJqNl.jpg

Because of this, the Dread Knights went unproven. When you play a Dread Knight, you are making a statement you are there to provide fun for others even if it means you lose some pixels or you die, that is the risk you take. That is your job as a Dread Knight.

    Note-

I hope this has been useful. I'm tired of seeing how something I was a part of so long ago basically fall apart with blatant disregard for the lore it seems, or a fundamental lack of basic knowledge of the group.

It's rather disappointing because it has so much potential, and despite how many times I have tried to help the individuals trying to revive it they have fallen or given up. There is no need for a plugin to support the character if you're capable of providing adequate roleplay.

  7. Omega

    Afterlife

    -----

Primus watched Kais from his position within the supports of the bar, watching and making notes of Kais face and his expressions as well as listening into the exchanges between Kais and various individuals who had come and gone. Primus resolved that Kais was its best means, and made contact by hacking the security of Kais omni-tool and making direct contact.

Coordinates were relayed to a meeting location with a warning not to set up an ambush, that Kais was being watched and foul play would be resolved through the barrel of a rifle before he could see it coming. Such things were needed precautions when dealing with organics, reassure them that they were vulnerable, no matter how important they thought themselves.

As Primus retreated to its shelter in the dark recesses of Omega, atop a vast spire, it began accessing systems from its jury-rigged system of stolen and recovered terminals leeching power from a nearby apartment complex which bled excess energy. With its array of systems, Primus would monitor traffic and communications on the station as well was cause system malfunctions and havoc if needed. It began to track Kais, and observe his actions for betrayal.

    -----

Corik would be contacted and informed to meet at a lower docking bay, he was to provide protection for a mid-level runner making a large deal and trouble was expected. Upon arrival, a Korgan in big armor handed Corik a suit of worn-medium armor with heavy modification and grey paint as well as some dried blood stains. It was better than what he had on. As well, a bag was thrust in his hand, containing several dozen pounds of Red Sand, a notorious narcotic. As the deal went down, the buyer of the narcotic ended up killing the dealer and Corik escapes, he would not have survived a confrontation, and he would find himself in possession of several dozen pounds of an expensive  drug.

    -----

Quen Arnos would be informed that a delicate contract would be available to him, however the contact will only discuss it on the Omega Station, and to meet in Afterlife.

Shepard, an Alliance Commander, former N7 Operative and Spectre Agent is presumed dead along with the most advanced ship in the galaxy, the Normandy, rubble. Life continues in the Galaxy and it seems that all which Shepard had sacrificed is myth, his warnings of an invasion were dismissed as having been halted when Sovereign was destroyed.

The human Systems Alliance has secured its place as a member of the Council, Shepard's actions of saving the Council left them in debt, a debt to Humanity that could not be dismissed, and they had bravely and selflessly acted in defense of those who had previously scorned them.

The Geth have retreated to their own space, no longer controlled wholly by Sovereign but still aggressive. With the end of the threat to the galaxy, things settled and as was the way of things, timeless disputes continued as they ever had.

    Common Regions:

Aside from the common regions, events may take place at any location in the galaxy, accessible via a mass relay and if need be FTL drives.

    Laureh'thilln

    "Sacrifice and Duty"
    fWTqnbA.png
The Laureh'thilln were formed as an official body of the Silver State with the primary duty of protecting the Sohaer, and the secondary duty of protecting the council with an auxiliary task of maintaining an honorary "Watch of the Tower" in which they ceremoniously act as the Custodians of the Tower, however it is mostly a ceremonial role and often the Laureh'thilln are too busy to stand guard all day.

Chosen from promising individuals inside the Evarir'thiln and already proven alike, rigorous interviewing and evaluation is done from a distance and afar to select proper and well suited matches.

The Laureh'thilln, while officially being part of the Evarir'thiln, fall under no Path and are under sole command of the Sohaer and the High Elf put in charge of the Evarir'thiln. As such, they are held in a special position of both responsibility and duty as well as privilege.

In combat, the Laureh'thilln are expected to obey orders from the highest ranking officer available, and if no officers are available, assume command of the unit until an officer arrives.

Due to their zealous nature, the Laureh'thilln often make poor overall commanders, preferring to sacrifice the bulk of the unit to achieve the smallest of goals. To them, the ends justify the means.

To a member of the Laureh'thilln, as little known about themselves as possible should be best. Rarely speaking, they are able to afford emotion no ground in their actions, and act as exemplars of logic and reason, duty and sacrifice for the greater good.

    fWTqnbA.png

    Duties
    -Protect the Sohaer
    -Defend the Silver Council
    -To escort individuals of importance
-Uphold the honor of the Sohaer
-Be as a beacon of Purity
-To smite the enemy of the Silver
-To live as a sacrifice, and die as a martyr

    sninW1x.png

    Organization
The Laureh'thilln are led by the Anniliran'laureh, an effective sergeant or captain of sorts to give guidance and instruction to the whole. The rest simply refer to themselves as 'Laureh'thilln.
