I started pc gaming about 4 years ago. When I started I played battlefield, counterstrike and garrysmod. Me and my friend found out about roleplaying on garrysmod and we had a blast getting into character. How much time could you be on the server weekly?: 7-20 hours a week, depending on schoolwork. What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you.: Roleplaying to me is playing the role of a character that you have always desired to be. In real life, I can't be an archer who fights for power, or a corrupt orc who wants to take over the world, but in roleplaying servers I can really get into character, and become truly involved in the world. In your own Words, describe what Metagaming and Powergaming are. Metagaming is taking actions, or using knowledge of things that should be unkown to your own role. Powergaming is when a role is not fulfilled and the player simply maxes out certain traits and attributes, this style of roleplaying is frowned upon because the character is not truly living his/her life in the world. What do you expect this server will be like?:I expect to find a welcoming community that (hopefully) NEVER LEAVES CHARACTER. This is my biggest pet peeve when playing roleplaying as it deters me from wanting to continue remaining in character myself. What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?:HockeymikesRoleplaying, sadly the server was shut down due to lack of funding. What is your The Lord Of Craft forum account name?:The Chosen Noob In-Character: Character Name:Calcifer What is your Race?:Orc Biography(This should include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.): Calcifer has no desire to become the richest or most respected. Calcifer simply wants to become the most feared Orc in Aegis. Calcifer learned as a child, from the stories of Krug, that to become a true warrior you must not want absolute fame and fortune, you must simply be true to yourself and crush those who stand before you. Riches have never tempted Calcifer. Calcifer stays true to his promises, and he never lies. He never bretrays his allies, and he is always up for an honest fight, no matter the opponent. Calcifer at age 29 is already a fine warrior. Your characters ambitions: Calcifer desires to strike fear into the enemy. Nobody shall stand in Calcifer's path. Out in the Wilds, your character comes across a small cottage. Outside, there appears to be an elf struggling combat with two bandits. What does your character do? Calcifer asks if the elf needs help, if the elf says yes, Calcifer crushes the two bandits and leaves, no reward will be accepted. Your character walks up to a shop in the middle of Al'Khazar. "Hello, my good sir!" says the shop owner. "What may I help you with today?" How does your character answer? Calcifer strikes the shop owner, and tells him to spread the word of his coming. Then gives him some money for some chicken, and tips him.
