?: I will spend a lot of time initally, (as its the holidays) I can spend 15-17 hours a weekend

It means acting in a different role, which may be your normal personality, but is most likely to be in a different personality.
In your own Words, describe what Metagaming and Powergaming are
Powergaming: getting other in a situation that people cant do anything, like saying that you stab someone in the heart, rather than saying that you thrust for their heart.
Metagaming is using information that the character does not know, such as returning to a deathpoint, or using OOC info in game
What do you expect this server will be like?:
Hopefully Interesting, and hopefully something is going on whenever I’m on the server
What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them
?: I have been trying out servers with a group of friends, looking for good servers that have enough players to make PvP exciting, and a twist. I think that RP would be a nice twist on the traditional minecraft. I left the first server I was on with my friends, as there was no playerbase apart from us, which was a good number (around 20), but we didn’t really want to go against each other

Biography(This should include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):
Appearance:
Duryan is a mapmaker, and looks similar to the traditional geography teacher. He has black hair that has a tinge of gray to it. He has been on his travels for a long time, and therefore has initially a battered brown jacket, and gray trousers His skin colour is white. He carries pair of glasses in his front pocket.
History:
Duryan initially was a wander, having come from a faraway island, on his travels. He has just realized that he has traveled the world, gathering knowledge about the wide world, but has had no time to spend it by writing books about the world. Because this continent seemed the initially most interesting, he has chosen it to settle in it. He has seen his fair share in danger, having been shipwrecked by pirates on a poisonous tropical island, but he was careful, and took cautious actions, and managed to survive.
Personality:
Duryan has been in a lot of danger on his travels, and has realized the true price of conflict. He would like to just settle down and live a normal life. Because of that, Duryan would rather run than risk a confrontation with thieves or bandits. He keeps to himself, but points out vital things when he talks. He is a rather eccentric man.
Your characters ambitions:
Duryan wishes to live a normal, happy life, where he can rest from his adventuring. He would never think to steal, as he has been stolen from, and would like not to do the same to others. He aspires to mapping this entire continent, with every village marked, with population (a big task)
Out in the Wilds, your character comes across a small cottage. Outside, there appears to be an elf struggling combat with two bandits. What does your character do?
He does not help, but runs, and seeks aid from another person in the area. He does not want to risk his life.
Your character walks up to a shop in a quiet market. "Hello, my good sir!" says the shop owner. "What may I help you with today?" How does your character answer?
“Good Morn old chap! I would like to buy parchments and books from the area to expand my collection, but at a cheaper price that all of these other shops.”
