How long have you resided with the blessed Mali’aheral? Since Thales.

Why do you wish to become a citizen of our cihi? I am proud of our sacred culture and wish to aid my fellow mali'aheral make our culture flourish.

How can you declare you are Mali'thill? Well even just by looking at myself, one should be able to see the purity. However without having my parents and their parents here as well I cannot completely prove I am.

What does maehr'sae hiylun'ehya mean to you? Maehr'sae hiylun'ehya. It is speaking of progress ones actions for the health of ones culture, knowledge and the well being of ones fellow mali'aheral.

What is your personal vision for our blessed race? My vision would be a great expansion of the city, giving more room for many other mali'aheral to come, more knowledge within our library and of course larger area to feed our larger population. Of course with more defenses making the scum of other races permanently outside our great cihi

Are there any other details about yourself you wish to relay to the mali’aheral? Before making the trek to join my brothers in the sacred cihi I tended to farm animals. Preferably horses but I am skilled with all of them. I am very organized and I refuse to arm myself. After all the quill is more powerful than the sword.

Origins of your birth, and your place of living: I was born amongst the human society. I was born in a small duchy in Asulon. I stayed with them for the move to Anthos. We tried building a duchy again however most of our population decided to move to major cities. Myself finally having heard of the land of the Mali'aheral decided to come live with my kin.

How can you declare you are Mali'thill? My parents were both mali'thill, I did not know my grand parents, so currently the only way I can declare it is via my appearance, stature and personality.

Why do you wish to become a citizen of our cihi? I wish to become a citizen of Haelun'or because I have lived with the humans all my life. They are vile and immature. I believe my breatheren of Haelun'or will be a more suited people to be around.

What is your personal vision for our blessed race? My personal vision, it's probably having a thriving city. Filled with people, even with the curse of the elves. I dream a peaceful haven for all those in whom are the purest.

What does maehr'sae hiylun'ehya mean to you? Maehr'sae hiylun'ehya to me depicts what our race must do to survive. We must stay healthy so we may reproduce and continue our race. Also that we must progress our city and all within to it's fullest.

What Elven phrase do you particularly take to heart? Please explain why: Wyn Yallr, happy to live. It means what it says, be happy to be alive and who you are. You are a sacred species, and should be proud to be alive.

What is the subject of the first book you may submit to the college? During my time with the humans I spent most of my time with animals, so maybe something concerning them.

What would be your reaction if you ever saw a human, orc and unknown Mali'aheral travel the Anthos Highway together? I would think nothing of it. If a Mali'aheral wishes to be in the company of an orc he deserves nothing but the attention of the orc.

Origins of your birth, and your place of living: I can't remember my birth place but as for place of living, I lived under a high elf as an apprentice in sculpting.

How can you declare you are Mali'thill? Well, from what I have observed all tali'thillnn mali'aheral have certain physical features that denote it's parents race. And I suppose you will have to take my word I haven't volunteered for any acts with mali'aheralnn, unless absolutly necesary.

Why do you wish to become a citizen of our cihi? I wish to live with my fellow race. I wish to live where scientific advances are encouraged not something of a laughable matter.

What is your personal vision for our blessed race? I can invision a peaceful nation guarded by glorious city walls, hiding us within our sanctuary of knowledge.

What does maehr'sae hiylun'ehya mean to you? It means progressing in all aspects wether it be discovering new secrets of our race, or a new recipe to cook fish. As well as keeping a healthy untainted pure race. Making sure to cut off the impure parts as soon as possible.

What Elven phrase do you particularly take to heart? Please explain why: Well obviously maehr'sae hiylun'ehya. As well as "Vullne ibar lenne, ilune vull lye iheiuhal." "The owl of truth cannot sing without the deception we breathe." It taught me to try and look beyond what is said or shown and look deeper into everything. Whether it be my art or what somebody says, there is deception around every corner.

What is the subject of the first book you may submit to the college? Maybe something of a dictionary for a few common wood's, and their qualities.

What would be your reaction if you ever saw a human, orc and unknown Mali'aheral travel the Anthos Highway together? I would look at the Mali'aheral and try and remember his face. Then walk off, remembering his face to file him as impure.

1. What is a High Elf?

A High Elf is a sub race of the elves in Lord of the Craft. The High Elves (Mali'Aheral)are the tall, fair-skinned children of Malin. They consider themselves a superior race, as their superior intelligence. However they're smart but not very skilled in combat. They live for a very long time, the average age of death is roughly 850 years of age, but it is not uncommon for them to live 1000+ years.

2. How do they act?

As they believe they are superior, they are very egotistical towards the other "lesser" races. However High Elves tolerate their other elven "cousins" more than the others, because there are similarities. They take great pride in their race and believe knowledge is power. Many high elves strive for excellence in their personal favorite field of science, literature and hobbies. The most common favorite act of a high elf is reading/writing. Very few high elves are religious, most think believing in a deity is a foolish valah (human) act. One of the main controversies of their society is their desire for purity. Purity to almost all high elves is everything. Purity will be covered later. Between the ages of 1-16 they act just like humans. After 16 their growing slows down tremendously.

3. What do they look like?

They are tall, usually between 6'2"-6'8". However they are tall they are also very slender. Their skin is fair, usually pale, retaining a slightly golden hue. This tint is complemented by their hair, which is usually blonde, though silver is not unheard of. Their eyes, finally, can range from hues of green to blue, occasionally even purple. It is also not uncommon for an High Elves eye color to become darker as they age, revealing the accumulation of wisdom. High Elves are careful about the treatment of their physical appearance. They look down on invasive jewelry (such as piercings) and tattoos, because they feel this would be an affront to their natural beauty and be considered an impure act. However, they are keen on enhancing their looks with cosmetic colorations (make-up and face-paint) along with non-invasive jewellery such as bracelets, rings, necklaces etc.

4. What are somethings that are important to remember when playing a high elf?

You must use proper grammar, it is very important to us. (People will learn your ability with English and if your not that great with it we will understand.) We think religion is foolish and should not be practiced. Other races are the lesser races and we are the greater, they do not deserve as much respect. If you aren't pure, you aren't very respected amongst your high elf brothers. Scholarly RP is encouraged in this city, as many respected high elves are scientists, artists, writers, and magicians. It is a very large part of High Elven RP as a whole. But the most important, you may end up being hated IC. Don't take it personally even if they do, it's your character and your playing it right, so it's their problem. This is a game, let's keep it in the game!

5. What is their combat style?

They rarely use axes, maces, unarmed or many varieties of swords. The most common weapon used is the bow and arrow and the hand and a half sword, Rapiers are common as well. High elves rely heavily upon strong walls and strategy to defeat their enemies. However even with expert strategy and skilled swordsman they consider combat a "brutish orc activity". (We are too civil and it's not how we operate.)

6. What do you mean by purity?

By purity we mean how pure you are to your high elven brothers. Basically if you are a hybrid of high elf and another race you are impure, as you're not pure high elf. Blood lines if the best way to determine purity. But as most don't have records we go over their height, skin, eye and hair color to determine it. Other things can make someone impure as well, such as destruction of the natural beauty of the body. ie. Piercing's, tattoo's, dyeing of the hair/skin, self inflicted scars, etc. If you sleep with one of another race or an impure high elf you are considered impure.

7. What is a Liberal?

Liberal in our definition was defined by a man named Nelecar. He was obsessed with purity, and wanted another way to class people almost impure. If someone spends a lot of time outside of the city with the other races, with only personal matters, he may be considered Liberal as he wants to spend time with them. If someone within the city appeals to the laws concerning the other races he may be considered Liberal. So basically it is a softened version of impure. You can't be banished for purity.

8. How do relationships work?

The relationships are most commonly between a man and a woman, both over the age of 50. If it is between a man and a man or a woman and a woman it is considered Liberal. If one is above the age of 50 and the other is not, then it is considered impure and you will most likely be banished. The most common and pure way to start a relationship is the man send the woman letters (Can be anonymous can not be it's your choice.) within the letters are love poems. After sending a several to a few of these the man goes to the women in person and asks her if she accepts the poems. If she does you two are courting if she does not accept you two are not courting. It is considered Liberal for children to be bastards. It is your choice on how long to court before marriage.

For awhile now I have noticed too many of our brothers and sisters go without a home. This troubles me, especially when the towers lay empty most of the time. I motion that each tower no longer be owned by one family or one person, but each floor will be owned by an individual. If said individual wishes to share their space perfect! If not, oh well. The bottom floor of each building be used for co-ed space, and then every floor above be sub divided. Together we can stop our siblings from living on the streets in this extreme climate. I grew up in the lands of Aegis. I grew being raised in a human city. It was absolutely horrible. No one could understand any level of intellect, even near my level or my associate. After all their generations I have lived through and still they only wished to disturb my work I became colder, and colder. Eventually I snapped at them. Later that day when I returned home it was trashed. They decided to disturb all my projects and burn all my recordings. I had nothing left. So, I came here where I know knowledge is respected rather than ridiculed.

I will continue walking with my head still raised high. He is most likely not pure and not worth my time. Or he could be discussing diplomacy, so it is none of my concern.

Character Race:55 years of age

Character biography - Make this at least 2 paragraphs long, which must explain your character’s history, appearance, personality, age and any other details you deem necessary:

Julius is around 55 years old and with that age very close to death. Currently he is still working as a farmer and pushing his aged body to the limits. He has gray hair, brown eyes and a small gut. He is scarred of halflings size. "They are too damn small to live". He reacts to them with verbal hostility. Julius is a widow, his wife died about 5 years ago from old age.While he was young his parents were very loving. His father was a very skilled farmer. He had little money because of the job however, the man taught Julius all he knew. Julius learned very slowly.

Julius when he was about 32 finally earned himself a farm. A few weeks after that had happened he was approached by a hungry vagrant, his whole family died in a fire and he was injured and couldn't find an employer that would hire him as he lost a hand because of the fire. Julius gave the vagrant the minas he was about to take to the taxer of the city. It was all the money he had. His farm was taken away and he was forced to work as a hired hand on someone else's farm for even longer.

What are your characters ambitions?:Because of Julius' age he has little ambitions except to live another night.

He very much so enjoys long walks on the beach.

Upon entering the Mighty Human City of Arethor, you come across a shop-keeper calling out to sell his wares to passers-by. The shopkeeper is not a Human, he is a poor dwarf looking to make a living in a new city. What is your response?

Julius:"Hhhello fine sir, might I inquire what you are selling?"

Dwarf:"Yes lad, I am selling fine headwear."

Julius looks through his selection hastily then suddenly stops and stares at a fedora.

Dwarf:" Aye that is a fancy fedora. It would look great with yer..... Hair?"

Julius laughs

Julius:"Alright, I'll take it."

Julius hands him a small bag on minas. He then walks home. Once he gets home he looks at the hat. Noticing within the hat there is a minas note. It is for 15000 minas.

That instant he realised this he grabbed his cane and shuffled as fast as he possibly could, he walked up to a guard.

Julius: S-Sir I-I need to find a dwarf. He sells hats.

The guard stares at Julius then wittily replies.

Guard: Oh so you simply need to find a dwarf who sells hats in one of the largest cities in Asulon?

Julius nods not realizing hes being sarcastic.

The guard simply laughs and motions for him to leave.

Julius wanders about and eventually finds himself at the guard barracks. As he enters a guard approaches him.

Guard: May I help you citizen?

Julius: Yes, I'm looking for a dwarf.

Guard: Can you describe him?

Julius: Yes! He had red hair, a long beard and two deep blue eyes. He sells hats.

The guard simply looks at him with a strange look.

Guard: How do you know him?

Julius: W-Well I bought a hat from him!

Guard: We may actually know where he is. Might I ask your business with him?

Julius: The hat had a significant amount of minas in it.

The guard simply stares at Julius.

Guard: H-How much?

Julius: 15.

Guard: 15 minas isn't important, sir.

Julius: 15 000.

The guard stares at Julius with a questioning gaze.

Guard: Are you sure?

Julius nods.

Guard: I think you show bring in that money. The dwarf you described is in our jail for robbing a bank earlier today. He hid the money, and I think he may have hid them within the hats.

Julius wattles home with his cane and grabs the note returning a while later.

As Julius walks inside the barracks he has the note ready and shows it to the same guard.

The guard has a look of amazement.

Guard: I did not expect you to return... Especially not with the money...

Julius: Well I'm here now, so what did you need?

Guard: O-One second.

The guard walks out hastily and comes back with a man in decorated armor.

Guard: Sir. This is the man. Sir.

The man: At ease guard. Allow me to deal with this.

The guard walks off.

The man: Now, I hear you have found a large sum of money.

Julius: Y-Yes.

The man: I am going to have to confiscated it as evidence.

The man reaches out for the note.

Julius: C-Can I keep the hat?

The man waves his hand and is focused upon the note.

Julius smiles and walks out happy over his new purchase and of course the fact he helped put charges against the dwarf.

Whilst walking down the road to Malinor, you stumble upon an old man. His walking stick , looks weak and frail, and just as you are about to ask something, the stick breaks, and the man falls to the ground. As he falls down, a bag of Minas falls to the ground, and splits open. As you watch the multiple coins spill out, you peer down at the defenceless man. What does your character do?:

Julius scurries over to the man, he offers a hand.

A halfling runs up and starts collecting the minas.

Julius retracts his hand before the man can accept it and he picks up a rock and throws it at the halflings head

The halfling runs off because he is scarred.

Julius once again offers the man a hand

The man accepts and Julius pulls him up slowly, hurting Julius' back.

The man: T-Thank yeu Sur.

Julius: It was nothing.

The man: No, here accept this as a gift.

The man holds out a feather.

Julius stares at it.

The man points at his hat.

The man: A new feather for your fedora. This is an extremely rare feather.

Julius accepts it and puts it on his hat.

The man walks over and collects his coins.

Julius walks off happy about his new feather in his cap.

Drecar walks merrily through the city until he spots something out of place. He looks all about to find it, until he looks towards the notice board and sees a brand new notice! He quickly walks over to read it. After reading Drecar pulls out a small piece of paper and his ink and write down two names.

Drecar nods reluctantly as he lets go of her hand and gets to his feet.

Drecar walks to Lucions home and bangs upon his gate. His tears appear to have dried upon his face and all sobbing has stopped.

Drecar ignores Seth's comment. His eyes remain fixed upon her bloodied face.

I-I'm sorry Arynia...

Drecar is breathing very heavily as he is choked up.

Drecar nods slowly once. Gripping her hand tighter.

Drecar remains staring at her limp body, tears flowing down his face. He responds in a low, cold tone.

You heard a slight yelling from your home late at night, you decide to investigate. You leave your home, and walk towards the city gates. Upon walking closer you eventually see an odd figure, as you continue walking closer you hear sobbing. Your now walking faster and soon you see Drecar kneeling. His shoulders are covered in blood, along with his hair and back, you determine via Logic it was he who was sobbing. Upon closer inspection you see a limp lifeless body infront of Drecar. You determine it's a female. The back of her skull is shattered open. Drecar is grasping her hand tightly as he sobs, tears falling upon her. Blood covers her face and hair making her very hard to detect who she is.
