I have an idea for an island. The idea is that on the journey there was a storm in which the ships were damaged and allot of supplies lost. We then see an island with lots of trees and things to replace the supplies, then when we dock at the island we discover that the island is split in two by a ravine (or similar) that can only be passed by a strong bridge, all of the trees and resources are on the other side. The side that we have landed on is rather small (this will mean there will be lots of conflicts, more interaction and generally better RP, also since this is a temporary map people wont have to suffer it for long), there are very few resources, particularly wood, (this means that there will be huge demand for resources and people may start going to extremes to get simple essentials) and allot of sheep (this will hopefully encourage people to build tents). The ships should be unsailable until enough wood is gathered to repair them (hopefully this will mean that people will team together to build the bridge, either that or huge conflicts will ensue). Other advantages of this are that due to the small size of the area where people are that it would be easier for the GMs to monitor it since everyone will be very close together and easier to get to, also the ravine would be in constant sight so GMs would easily see someone if they were trying to build a dirt bridge or such across it, another advantage is since it would be so small people would be forced to build small temporary looking structures. This is my idea for the next island, whether it will be possible I'm not sure, but I believe it would help with RP and make the GMs jobs allot easier.

Accepted. You seem like you are willing and would be a good addition to the guild. Don't worry about lack of experience in the survival aspect of the guild, we will make sure your comfortable with it before we send you out to do any tasks. You should only head to the island once you are prepared for a long journey. You may explore the island but try to remain within sight of the buildings. When we have met I will tell you what to do.

You will be welcome to join us (even though we had a bit of an encounter with your race before), we will make sure that there is no racism towards you. *An osprey glides overhead and drops an envelope on you. You open the envelope and find a letter and a leaflet. The Asulon Outriders would happily accept you into our ranks. We are an acceptive and friendly guild, we will give you food and shelter. We are an explorers guild so we will be going exploring and we will send you out on different missions.
