I would assess the situation and then if then elf is in severe danger e.g. he loses his sword i will rush in hand the elf my spare sword (because it never hurts to be prepared) and help to fight of the bandits, but i would offer them a chance to surrender because the petty bandits may have had a more light hearted reason for their actions. but i believe there are also alternate ways to deal with this sutuation many i can think but i will simply finish this question with another example for if i am taller than them (if the bandits are young) i would simply walk up to them and pick up the kids by their torso's and ask them what they were doing, if they would surrender i would escort them to the nearest village give them a few minas and be on my way. hmm im wondering if these scrolls will be an actual item, because if they are then would it be against rp for a villain to do the following: (for this example im gonna say thief) a thief hears talk of where the scroll or scrolls are being kept and he attempts to steal them, if he manages to take the scrolls maybe leaving a duplicate of the item behind to help his escape (not with hacks just the basic item like if the scroll was a piece of paper). would this count as rp or would this not be allowed?

I have during my journey rescued villages, conquered temples of old and even slayed a beast which in the region where bal'morak is hidden is the worst thing any could encounter,a beast the size of half of Bal'Morak with teeth as sharp as glass and scales as hard as diamonds which locals believe to be from the early ages when iblees was free. The eldars of the village believe that it was awoken when a very unnatural thing happened the ground itself moved which i nor any of the villagers have every heard of, cracked the lake which had been frozen for years even before the first villagers were ever born, in half like a knife going through butter. I spent a year and a half trying to slay this beast, which even caused my most serious injury, a deep scar across my right eye, and so since then the journey i am on has been a journey to help me find a way to heal my eye.(i decided to treat this like im writing my history in a book) I feel i need to record more information i am aged 28 and 6 months but since bal'morak's villagers don't usually leave bal'morak we never knew what form of aging the outside world uses i believe you would call us humans due to our round ears, tall stature and white skin but due to spending a few years travelling i realise i would be considered to be 56 years old. i do not know why the other villagers and i look half the age of what we are but we don't care because it doesn't effect us much, there are many rumors as to why this is some believe the aengul had pitied us, others that some magic user had poisoned our water i myself don't care. Anyway back to describing myself i don't want you to waste your life reading when you could be discovering asulon better, I am a rugged adventurer with trousers the colour of blood from enemies human and non, and a brown sash with a shard of every blade that was destroyed.
