Sounds great! What city jobs will be offered? ((They need to contribute to my skills, I can't do farming)) I can hunt very well. Also, I can fish, and can cook decently. ((Will the rent be collected in MC or RL weeks?))

The cheap rent is just a plan for now, as a way to get the whole "economy" thing it revolves around going. If people bought the houses, they wouldn't have as much need to make use of the farms and boost the area, etc. Unless, there were tax on the land of the purchased house, but nodody would really want to pay that over rent I imagine / unless I can figure a way to make sure that home owners are contributing somehow other than just taking up space.

It's more of a self-sustain, help your neighbor and pride yourself in building up the place - type of place, rather than a place to say, "Oh yeah one of my houses is there".

If enough people end up there, and more possibilities arise to keep everything flowing smooth without the need of the economy plans, I may try to implement some type of bartering system - i.e. you don't pay rent on a house, but in turn you have to do ___ work for the week, or turn in ____ resources of your trade to the city funds.

Sounds rough, but it gets the point across lol - A lot will change I'm sure, I want the people that live there to be able to choose a lot of the ways it's ran.

Good strategy, I like it. It will keep the city alive. I see your point on the "multiple houses" thing. I'm just concerned that my minas will run out, and have no direct source of income. I will live here by the way.

T'e place is a ghost town lad. Nothing has dwelled there since the early 1340's. Much like most of Aegis, once rich villages and towns are dead mute. Best stay out of there lad, undead whereabouts may be lurkin' in 'te shadows, seen it many times.

Short 1 - 2 Paragraph Bio: I first saw the world in a mountanous village, isolated from the mainland, virtually unknown, other than for trading exportation. There, we learned the prime archery skill, that of crafting and shooting bows. This was it until the village was looted, and burnt to it's knees, our ruler held at swordpoint by the undead. I was one of the few humans to escape the village, which is now just a field of grass.

After the ordeal, I spent my time wandering the lands, drawing closer and closer to the mainlands of Aegis. I eventually set up a camouflaged woodland hut, in which I dwelled in until I heard two men having a conversation as they walked by. While hidden, I heard them mentioning that the mainland was behind them. I thought to myself. Mainland? Curious about this new knowledge, I packed my valuables, a bow made in my village, arrows, and some food, and went in the direction the men came from. After three tedious and strenuous nights, I gazed upon the hopeful light of Aegis.

Why do you wish to join?: To enroll in my life's purpose, honor, and defending those things dear to me. Also, I was without a home, and I have found hope here.

Roleplaying is maintaining the personality and lifestyle of a character to complete certain tasks. Basically playing a roll.

Powergaming is pretty much not caring about anything else except reaching the highest level, basically grinding. Metagaming is acting out-of-character in an RP situation.

Biography(This should include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):

I was born in a small mountainous village on a remote coastline. My village was called Krkhmar. Here I grew up with the primary skill of the villagers: Archery. I made my first bow, a beautiful maple-black walnut longbow. I often went on a hunt with the villagers, where we picked off many animals. I was also enlisted in the Krkhmar Defense Force, in which I was stationed in a tower to kill as many monsters that drew near to my village as possible. Up until our village was raided and burned to the ground, I had lost everything dear to me, everything I loved, my family, friends, and home, except for my bow. I managed to escape the massacre, and I traveled the lands, surviving on what I could find, hunting with the bow. I had built myself a woodland camouflaged home. Our village was the only village to manufacture these bows of power and accuracy, and I am the only human alive who knows how to make such a bow. I also recovered my village's archer cloak, which I wear to this very day. He now enjoys sitting at his table sketching architectural drawings. When my village was plundered and looted, I grew a distrust for humanity, so I now tend to keep to myself a lot. The situation scarred me for life.

Your characters ambitions:

To provide for his people, and defend for him, even if it means his own sacrafice. Also would like to have enough wealth to build his own home.

Out in the Wilds, your character comes across a small cottage. Outside, there appears to be an elf struggling combat with two bandits. What does your character do?

I ready my bow, and aim for the head of the dominant bandit. He falls on his knees, and as the other rushes to his aid, I pick him off as well. Engraved on my second arrow, the elf reads "No hard feelings."

Your character walks up to a shop in the middle of Al'Khazar. "Hello, my good sir!" says the shop owner. "What may I help you with today?" How does your character answer?

Very well sir! Say, so you happen to have any meat for sale? If not, I would be willing to supply you with more meat, I'm a great hunter! How does it sound, sir?
