I know that role playing is always staying in a character which you have created. I know that even if something doesn't go according to plan, you still fit it into the role playing. I have larped before a few times with my friends, and I am really into RPG style games. I have been roleplaying for a few years now, on many different games from D&D to Minecraft RP servers. -What do you expect this server will be like?: I think it will be extremely fun, and will feel like an entire new game separate from Minecraft. -What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: I played on the server HuckCraft and the Reddit public servers, but I left them because they got too tedious and repetitive after a while. -Have you read, understood, and agreed to the rules? Teshan In-Character: -Character Name: Teshan -What is your Race?: Human -Lordofthecraft.net/forum forum account: Teshan -Biography: Teshan was born into a farmer's family, who lived miles away from any main city deep in the wilderness of Aegis. They lived in a small village of only one hundred men, and few ever came through the thick woods surrounded the town. Few had heard of their village, and their village had no established name. It was just known as "Home" to those living in it. He was born two years before his older brother, Laodon, who was always stronger and braver than Teshan. Ever since Teshan was a child, he was weak. When he got into a fight with another boy who was working on his parent's farm, it had ended with Teshan getting a bloodied nose and crawling home crying. However, what he lacked in courage and strength he made up for in his intelligence and quick thinking. Teshan was 15 and Laodon was 17 when their parents told them they would be in charge of harvesting the wheat crop this season. This was the crop that sustained the village through the cold months, when meat and other food was scarce. Laodon, being stronger but less quick witted than Teshan, preceded to harvest all of the wheat by hand. By the end of the day he had not only harvested enough wheat for a few loaves. At this rate, the fragile crop would succumb to the harsh winds that were approaching with the coming fall winds, and the village would have to suffer through another hard cold winter with hardly any food. Teshan knew this, and he had to come up with a way to harvest all of the crop. He was too weak to harvest it all by himself, even if he wanted to. He began to think of a plan to prove that he was important, not only Laodon. He devised a system that would harvest the wheat every year in a matter of hours. A intricate watering system would pump fast flowing water onto the fields, breaking the non-edible part of the wheat but leaving the desired grain intact. He put the plan into action, and became a hero to his small village. Not a hero of strength or heroic deeds, but a hero of great intellect and resourcefulness. Teshan of course was happy with this calm, steady farmers life. However his brother Laodon, was not. When Laodon turned 21, the required age to join the army against the undead, he set out for home. He told his family only a day before he set out. His father was proud, saying, "Perhaps our family name will live on through the generations." The next day, Laodon set out, taking the iron armor and iron sword that he had paid nearly fifty pounds of wheat for, and made for the human city of Oren. He said a quick prayer to the almighty God, and left the town, heading south through the forest down to Oren. He promised his family he would return in a month after his training was over to make sure they were still alright. A month passed, and Teshan was eager to see his brother back from training. Another five days passed, and Teshan was getting worried. "Don't worry son," his father said, "Its a long way back from Oren, you can't expect him to just walk in here with no effort!" However, another month passed, and everyone in the household and community were uneasy. What could kill a soldier just during basic training? Had the undead attacked Oren directly? Would they soon come for the village? Teshan couldn't stand it anymore, it had been two and a half months and no word of his brother. He told his parents he would be travelling to Oren, and asked his father if he could buy supplies from the forge. His father granted him permission, allowing him to sell just as much wheat as Laodon had to buy the proper armor and weaponry for the travel. He set out for Oren, dreadful thoughts going through his mind as to what he might find. His journey was about to begin. -Character Age: 19 -Character Appearance: He is five foot ten, with medium brown hair and slightly muscular from hard work on the farm. -Character Personality: He is unsure of his capabilities, but he is hard working and determined when he pushes himself. -Your ambitions: To find out what happened to his brother Laodon, and to explore beyond his small town. -Can your character read or write?: Yes, he was taught by his mother, who thought these would be necessary skills to know in case Teshan decided to move away from the village into Oren or other populated and educated human cities. -Can your character mine?: He is an above ground dweller, so no. -Are you a capable builder? He is able to build enough to survive, but he cannot build extravagant and amazing structures. -Can you wield a sword?: No, he has no experience fighting, and the one time he fought, he lost at it. He is a very poor fighter, and has much to learn. -Enjoy Farming?: Yes, he was a farmer his entire life. -Does your character have any special skills?:] He is extremely intelligent and quick witted, making up for his lack of strength and courage. The bread and fruit they would grow in the Summer and Spring would last them through the Winter, with food always left over. And yet, his brother, Laodon, wanted to get out of the village. Everyday, he would wander off into the woods surrounding the town and bring back entire wild pigs hunted by himself, and there would be great feasts. When Laodon was 20, and Teshan was 19, two pigmen found their way through the woods, and came upon the village. Teshan was outside, doing his nightly chore of tending to the wheat farms. He didn't mind his farming life. In fact, he rather enjoyed the peaceful calm of the small community. He saw the pigmen come through out from the thick forests, and he yelled to warn the town. There were no guards of the town, so all men, women, and children who had been enjoying the quiet warm evening ran inside, barricading the doors, and staying out of view of the windows. Teshan ran back to his house, longing for the fame and glory that was given to Laodon. He picked up his father's old rusty iron sword from his house's basement, and ran outside. He saw the pigmen banging on a home's doors with their finely crafted golden swords. Teshan snuck up from behind, summoned all of his strength, and brought the blade down on one of the pigman's head with a yell. The pigman was thrown forward against the door, and it collapsed onto the ground. No more than a few seconds had Teshan done this when the other pigman came up from behind, slamming the hilt of the sword into Teshan's head. A flash of light rose up in his eyes, and he fell to the ground, the back of his head soaking with blood. The other pigman recovered, and they advanced upon him. He tried to get back up on his feet, but he was still disoriented from the blow. He scrambled away, crawling his way back to his home. The pigmen ran towards him, but he looked up to see one lurch forward, a sword straight through his heart. The pigman fell, and Laodon was standing behind, a gleaming iron sword in hand. The other pigman turned, and threw himself against Laodon. Teshan got back to his feet and slammed his sword against the pigman. It didn't pierce its skin, but Laodon took advantage of the blow and brought up his sword, the pigman falling directly on it. He pushed it off to the side, and rushed over to Teshan. "We need to get out of here now," said Laodon. "Wait, I will go gather the others to come with us," replied Teshan, "Stay here." "No," Laodon grabbed hold of him. "We can't afford taking such a big group with us. We will only be ambushed again." Teshan was about to disobey him, but he saw twelve more pigman rushing down the road at the other end of the town. He turned away from the place he had spent his entire life at, and ran into the woods after Laodon. "Where the hell are we going?" asked Teshan, shivering with fear. "Keep quiet, unless you want more of those savage beasts coming at us," Laodon said, still running along. Laodon kept to front, holding a torch out so they could see, and looking side to side for danger. A zombie fell from a tree behind Laodon, and was reaching up to pull him down. Teshan reacted fact, and kicked the zombie to the side. The zombie reached for Teshan, but Teshan was ready. He put all of his weight into it, and drove his sword clear through the zombie, pinning it to a tree. Laodon looked behind, pleased. Teshan was just surprised. "Well little brother," Laodon said with a smirk, "I guess you finally-" he was interrupted by a loud explosion, which slammed Laodon against a tree, and knocked Teshan off his feet. Teshan cursed, and ran over to Laodon. Laodon looked up at him, and pulled something from his pocket. He slid it over to Teshan, and went limp. Teshan took hold of the paper, and looked at it. It was a detailed map of Aegis, down to every city. A route leading directly to the Capital City of the humans was traced out, and he decided to follow it. His entire life had been shaken apart in less than an hour, and he needed answers. His journey was about to begin.
