Torug stayed with his brothers and sisters in a quiet corner of the Great City of Strigzgoi and remained in the leathers until ready to begin his arduous training as a shaman. In those leathers, he forged strong bonds with his brothers and sisters. And when they started to wander in the desert, those bonds would show through. In many occasions, they got into sticky situations, but they pulled through together. Torug commenced his early training at the age of 6 with his brother Nugbu. At a young age, they were taught about all of the elements and their history. When Mogroka thought it was time, he took all of the cubs to the Hand of Krug. At the hand of Krug, Torug learned to summon his first spirit. This initially disturbed him, but he grew to love his gift and eventually training would become his life. With this new knowledge came even greater confidence in his demeanour and how he handled situations in general. All of their hard training paid off well in the trials, where Torug fought alongside his brothers against all manner of monsters and creatures. In the end, each of the individual brothers passed the arduous trials and became true orcs. Together, they made their way into adult life. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond? The Warriors try to intervene and Torug kicks out at a delicate place. The other one lunges with a sword and Torug sits down, effectively ducking the sword. The warrior looks down in surprise as Torug grabs his ankle and lifts, upending the warrior. As he drops the Halfling into the pot of boiling water, it squeals, then he eats it, ‘Becauz it taste nice’ Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. Torug glares at the man, and says ‘Nub, umie, Lat can do nuthin’ Then he continues on his way. Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?: Torug looks around to make sure no-one is watching, then swipes the contents of the chest for himself, leaving behind a badly spelt note behind. Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond? Torug says something along the lines of ‘Fud, now.’ And if he is given food, he asks for direction to a place that he knows and leaves peacefully. If not, he walks in and starts generally bothering the traders. You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: I wake up at around 6:30 in the morning, do an hour long paper round, then go to school and ‘learn’ until around 3:00, when I go home and roleplay for a bit to wind down. What is it?: Roleplaying is where you essentially become a character and act as them in an in game situation, say if my character were being threatened by a mugger, instead of running forward with a diamond sword and beating the seven shades of **** out of them, I’d probably be scared, and possibly relinquish any money that I couldn’t hide on my person. What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: I played on a serious roleplaying server called Overture, but they sadly lost all but one of their admins and stopped the server, so I decided to join a new server. Biography: Lyssia was born in Oren. Her mother was a servant in the nearby castle, who had fallen in love with (and conceived a child with) a mercenary who had been protecting a caravan. When he heard of Lyssia's existence, he abandoned her heavily pregnant mother and left for home. Lyssia was born a little later, and for the first few years of her life, was cared for by her mother. Her mother soon turned to drinking her pay away however, and venting her anger on her young daughter. Lyssia came to spend most of her spare time out of the house and away from her angry, alcoholic mother. By her tenth birthday, she was working part time at an inn washing up beer mugs in a cramped back room with less pay than was necessary. To her credit, her mother never found out about this job, and never spent any of Lyssia's money (which went to food anyway, as her mother often forgot to feed her) on alcohol. In her early teens, Lyssia found a better job at a farm just outside of town, where she helped look after farm animals in exchange for free food and a small amount of money to spend on herself. She took to this job well, and saved all of her spare money in a book in her bedroom. However, this saving of money was short lived, as her mother found it all one day, and spent it all on herself. Lyssia was furious, and left the house on the spot, promising to not come back until she could sort her mother out. Over the next few years, Lyssia slept in a room in the inn, which she paid for with wages from being apprenticed to a local doctor and learning from his example. Her lot in life had improved since she had left, but the same could not be said for her mother, who Lyssia often saw wandering the streets, drunk out of her mind. When Lyssia reached the age of 19, she found it difficult to often find her mother crashed in a ditch, sleeping off the effects of drink, so she made a few arrangements and used a few favours. Her mother was not allowed to deal with her own money from then, and the landlord took over, buying food and essentials for Lyssia’s mother, rather than letting her spend her money on drink. Following this, Lyssia left Oren of her own accord to travel. Today, she commonly wears travelling clothing comprised of a shirt and trousers. She carries little jewellery on her person and is not overly keen on wearing any. She is often regarded as a little too kind to people, and other times, she can be perceived as an utter *****.
