Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: I am a very computer literate person and play a lot of Minecraft and many other games. I attend school in the day and when i come home I like to relax by playing games such as Minecraft. How much time could you be on the server weekly?: I will be able to play on the server around 1:30 a night. What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you.: Role playing is where a person takes on the role of another fantastical character and try to imitate his every word, movement and personality. I have played alot of role play in the past and I am fairly good at it. In your own Words, describe what Metagaming and Powergaming are. Metagaming is where a player uses knowledge gained from a source separate to the role playing part of the game. This may be OOC chat or other things such as facebook, steam or other ways of contacting other players. Powergaming is where a player uses unfair advantages in game. For example you get arrested and you then say you suddenly break out of the handcuffs. Your character could not do this so this is powergaming. On the other hand if you get arrested and say your character tries to break his handcuffs on a rock, fails but when he tries again, he succeeds. What do you expect this server will be like?: I except this server to be exactly like what the world used to be 100 years ago. I expect there to be lots of players and a hierarchy which i have to work my way up. I expect there to be lots of events in which i can have lots of fun. What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: I have played on many other servers in which nearly all have closed down. A few of these are Veritasrp, Minewank, Epicville and Craftrealms. the main reason I left them as they were boring as they were only survival where this server has more to do so I would not get bored. Have you read, understood, and agreed to the rules?: I have read the rules, I understand what they are, and I agree with them. How did you hear about us?: I heard about you from my friend blob845 and from minestatus and many other Minecraft players. Have you voted for the Lord of the Craft on Minestatus? What is your The Lord Of Craft forum account name?: Firedrake845 In-Character: Character Name: Elderin What is your Race?: Elf Biography(This should include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.): Elderin was born into a average family living in a small village on the outskirts of Malinor. His father hunted in the local forest with a bow to get food for the family. Therefore his father was fairly good at archery. His mother stayed at home to look after Elderin while his father was out hunting. In her spare time his mother owned a small plot of land at the back of her house where she grew crops for the family to eat. Due to Elderin being at home a lot with his mother he inherited her farming skills. Elderin worked with his mother and become some what of an expert at farming. He alos gained a few of fathers archery skills. When Elderin was 30, he left home to progress onto later things. First he journeyed to Laurelin where he was met with alot of people all talking about the attack that was coming and that evryone should rally at the main gate to fight Iblees. Then he saw Native guiding 10 heros towards Dawns Bakery. At the sight of this Elderin decided to run to the back of Laurelin where he met a Ranger of the Forest. He offered Elderin refuge at their camp until this attack was over and also offered him a place on their ship going to Asulon. Your characters ambitions: Elderin is fairly ambitious and wants to master his arts in farming and also to improve his archery. Out in the Wilds, your character comes across a small cottage. Outside, there appears to be an elf struggling combat with two bandits. What does your character do? Elderin pulls out a bow, fits an arrow and fires it at the nearest tree. This startles the bandits and while they are recovering he nocks another arrow into his bows and hits the nearest bandit in the back. The other bandits is then so shocked he runs of into the trees. Elderin then runs over to the elf and asks him where he lives. The elf then points towards the nearby cottage. Elderin would then take the elf to his cottage and put him to bed and make him some food. Your character walks up to a shop in the middle of Al'Khazar. "Hello, my good sir!" says the shop owner. "What may I help you with today?" How does your character answer? Elderin says "Do you stock seeds my good sir." When the shop keeper replies "Why yes I do, they are 2 minas each." Elderin replies "I'll take 20 wheat seeds and 15 watermelon seeds." Elderin would then pay the man take the seeds and ask "Do you know of anyone in the area who sells arrows?" I enjoy these as it helps me to get prepared for my next day at school. At weekends i enjoy having free time and spend it gaming and would love to add LOTC to my collection of amazing games. What is it?: Roleplaying is where one person takes on the role of another and has to impersonate all of their personality's such as speech, actions and interests. You have to do all of these things to be roleplaying. In your own Words, describe what Metagaming and Powergaming are: Metagaming is where someone will talk to somebody else in an external chat such as steam, xbox or OOC and will then use this knowledge on their character. However you character will not know the information you have learn't. Powergaming is where you give your character unfair advantages. What do you expect this server will be like?:I think this server should be amazing as it sounds very planned out and awesome. What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: I have played many other servers and i have not left any but just moved on as i got bored of them as i got sick of playing normal minecraft. What is your The Lord Of Craft forum account name?:Firedrake In-Character: Elderin Character Name: Firedrake845 What is your Race?:Elf Biography(This should include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.): Elderin was born into a poor family in a small village just outside of Laurelin. Elderin's father was an expert at archery and Elderin inherited the skill of his father. Elderin's mother was also known in the village for her farming and sold wheat the the local bakery. On Elderin's 60th birthday a group of undead attacked the village and as it was his duty Elderin's father tried to defend the village. In this process of doing this Elderin's mother was takes killed in a fire which left Elderin's father in tatters and he commands Elderin the leave at once to go to Laurelin to live a better life. Elderin obeyed his father but on his way encountered the group of undead that killed his mother. He had a vengeance against these so without thinking he pulled out his bow and shot the leader and ran off to Laurelin. When he reached Lauerlin he was asked by a Walker to join their guild. He took up the offer and went to the guild and he has lived there ever since. Your characters ambitions: To become a professional at farming and to enhance his skills as a archer. How much time could you be on the server weekly?:about 2 hours a night, 3-5 hours a weekend What do you know about Roleplaying? What is it?:Taking on the role of another person or creature and impersonating their every action for example speech, like and dislikes also using rules to improvise with your charecter is important with role-playing. Metagaming: Using out-of-charecter chat in RP, for example if you learn knowledge about the where-abouts of a cave in out-of-charecter chat you cannot you it to your advantage when playing as your in-game-charecter. Powergaming: Giving a charecter unfair advantagessuch as huge powers, for example if I had said he is amazing at archery, sword fighting, mining, smithing, farming, magic, building etc What do you expect this server will be like?:I think this server should be amazing as it sounds very planned out and awesome. What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?:Canadiancraft: I found building the same things over and over boring and highly repetitive. He loves to mine and farm, as his mother and farther were also brilliant at these talents. Elderin loves his life at home but wants to go on an adventure although he is too poor to buy equipment to go on one. He is very good friends with Milarol. As a child he was born and raised to be able to protect himself. He dresses to his upbringing. He is happy to work for anyone as long as he gets his share of money. Money is everything to him so he can start his adventure in the lands of Aegis. He was born in Rivendell and has been blessed by the Elrond, he is a strong beliver in the gods. Elderin is known well as a good lad within the homes of Rivendell even Elrond himself once enjoyed a chat with the yound elf. Always curious as he is Elderin got himself into some deap trouble when he was travelling back home from trading with the merchants of Lorien. A band of undead ambushed his carrige, they took everything from him he has wanted to conquer evil ever since he was attacked.
