In your own Words, describe what Metagaming and Powergaming are. Metagaming is taking out-of-character information (OOC) and using it in-character when your character would have had no means to know. Powergaming is performing actions your character could not realistically do such as flying, being the best ever warrior in the world who defeats opponents just by looking at them, It also means doing things to other people's characters that they may not want to happen, such as permanently killing them off or taking control of them. No waiting to play so i know if i want to vote or not What is your The Lord Of Craft forum account name?: Darkza In-Character: Character Name: Darkza Schiffer What is your Race?: Human , Northerner Biography(This should include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.): Born and raised in a little village, Darkza was the son of a Guard. His father was a Captain and wanted to give him the best education he could afford. Darkza learnt history, philosophy and theology from his tutors from a young age, while his father taught him all he knew about weapons, their use and care and hand to hand combat. It was an interesting and diverse childhood, but not without its problems. His father was often a busy man, and money was sometimes tight so Darkza soon grew used to some tutors not coming for a year, or years at a time. But one tutor in particular took a shine to him, and came whether he was paid or not. His name was Dalarian and has saw Darkza something worth his time and effort. But things went sour for Darkza. At the age of ten, the village was in the grip of a particularly bad winter. Food was scare, and riots where common as the guards tried to ration what food was around fairly. Sadly, things turned sour when half the Watch was laid off due to lack of funds. It was a dire time, and grew only worse. One day the riots got out of hand. Trying to stand firm and keep his men in order, Darkza's father took an arrow to the knee and later died by a sword to the chest. The riots resulted in a one tenth of the village being burnt and ransacked, including Darkza's house. Fleeing the scene, he lost his family and would spend four years living on the street before eventually Dalarian recognized him and returned him to his mother, who had given him up for dead. He was almost adopted by both Dalarian and some of his father's guards friends. He joined the guards, officially, as soon as he was able. He would spend many years there, rising through the ranks, and gathering a reputation as a strict but fair leader. Having joined at the age of sixteen, he was there until he was twenty five. But he was there when a fully three quarters of the guard where raised as militia to fight in the war against the undead, and he ended up spending six years serving in the army, on campaign against the undead. He gained some respect from the nobles for his ability to command men in battle, but he saw things that changed him forever. He would grow introverted, more than ever, and seemed morose and depressed at times. He lost many of the original guards that came with him on campaign, on their faces haunted him. Eventually, he lost to many friends and was granted a dismissal from the armed forces at his special request from the Lord in charge of his Company, who gave him some money and a good horse to find his way home. He set off, but was soon way laid and robbed by bandits. Walking on foot he stumbled, bloody soled into Al'Khazar . He soon decided to try and join the local guards, to forgot the war and try and rebuild his life. Darkza wears he's fathers armor wich is dark gray because of all the fights , Darkza's hair is long and Black he's eyes are light blue almost silver and he got pale white skin. Your characters ambitions: Want's to start a new life where he can live happy. Out in the Wilds, your character comes across a small cottage. Outside, there appears to be an elf struggling combat with two bandits. What does your character do? Run's into to the aid of the elf! Your character walks up to a shop in the middle of Al'Khazar. "Hello, my good sir!" says the shop owner. "What may I help you with today?" How does your character answer? I would like to buy some water and food. What is it?: Roleplaying is when you act/become another character, acting like a whole diffrent person , this character has it's own story and origin, living as the character. In your own Words, describe what Metagaming are. A player is metagaming when they use knowledge that is not available to their character in order to change the way they play, What do you expect this server will be like?: Hopefully a good RP Fantasy server with a good server system. What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: on other server i only play creative to improve my building skills testing new ways to build and so on, i never really leave them i just take a break from servers to play something else. The Father of the family knew that this boy would want his Revenge on the bandit who killed his family, and lucky enough the father was a Human Guard soo he could train Darkza soo he could protect himself. Darkza trained Hard every day untill the family had to leave the country because it was not a good place for old folks like them to live in. Darkza was about 19 years old Green eyes with small slit-shaped pupils similar to a cat's black long hair and a scar in his right eye when this happend and soo he said he's good byes and left. He started by trying to get a place to stay and found an Abandoned house where he lived untill he found a group of hunters. He joined with them to learn about the land and that he might be able to find the bandit who killed his family. He did find the bandit eventually and of course he killed him showing no Mercy , he was like a cold snake. After that he left the manhunters and Began his life as an adventurer wanting to find dangerous adventures.
