The 'Newly Spawned' thing has to do with post count. You may have been playing for two years but you have a small post count that's why. The 'Old Hat' below your avatar tells us you've been around for a while.

Kweek question if our characters are learning these skills and progressing through their professions then it doesn't really make sense rply for them to lose knowledge come 4.0. Characters that spend years or however long 3.75 is learning how to black smith then get to 4.0 and forget for no reason. Is there some sort of Rp reason for literally every character becoming incompetent at everything after learning that profession for an extended period of time?
