Acting as your character would do not what I would do. You see the world through their eyes including his morals, speech, ambitions, flaws, etc. In your own Words, describe what Metagaming and Powergaming are.Metagaming is the use of OOC information for your characters benefit. So you would use it in a situation like givingdirections to a secret base in OOC chat, the character wouldn't know about it. Powergaming is when you doanything in your power to keep your charater from losing powers that you can’t have, like not taking on injuries that you might have gotten in battle. It’s also when you can put injuries on another player without them doing so themselves. Ex: /me hits the human over the head knocking her out. Biography(This should include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.): As a child Myrok had grown up in hard times. The only place Myrok felt like he was of any help was was his uncle’s butcher shop, there is where he first laid his eyes upon her. Doneras a simple town girl had come in with her parents a few times to get there meat. They became good friends in the years to come. Until that one day that changed everything. The darkest day in Myrok’s life started off in a surprising way. She the girl of his dreams, Doneras had just walked into his uncle’s butcher shop, and so they started to talk since his uncle was out. They had gotten into the subject of him having to take a wife. And when she asked him who he would most likely choose he said he would want her, and she smiled and said that she wouldn’t mind that. Him being the new employee, and surprised by the news stumbled to find words to be able to talk to her more. With his breathe taken away, the only thing he could think of to say was” Can I help you with anything else?”’ she responded with “Three steaks, please.” After he finished the task, she exited, Myrok then noticed a gang of bandits. They too noticed her and the steak and mugged her, and were about to leave, when she said she would go to the guards about it, they kidnapped her. Stunned and afraid he did nothing, but watch, and when the guards arrived Myrok didn’t know what to say. That was six months ago when Myrok was only 19, and now that he is 20 his father has permitted him to leave the family, and to start his own. Myrok do not want anyone else but her to start a family with him so he has decided to go looking for her. Not knowing where this will leave Myrok or how his journey will end, but he can’t go on without her so this is where Myrok’s journey begins. Your characters ambitions:I would like like to be a guard. Out in the Wilds, your character comes across a small cottage. Outside, there appears to be an elf struggling combat with two bandits. What does your character do? Myrok: Fear not elf I will come to your aid! Elf: Thank you kind sir, now you leave or be taking to the nether. Bandit1: Never, poor elf we demand the weekly taxes of you. Elf: I already paid you this week. Myrok:*notices for the first time that the bandits look like they are guards and that the Elf believes that they are.* Nay I say for you are imposters! Elf: What do you mean stranger? Myrok: They are bandits not guards Bandit2: we can prove to you that we are guards of the king… by dueling. Bandit1: Aye, but if ye are but ‘fraid of us then you may pay too and be on your way. Myrok: *bites thumb* Bandit2: Do you bite your thumb at me? Myrok: Of course who else would I bite my thumb at, now have at thee *Bandits see that Myrok is willing to duel and run the other way.* Myrok: Ahh, there you go kind elf, now do you know of a girl taken but a few months ago by andits, she wold have passed through here… Elf: Aye, I recall that day yes she was going that way*points to the direction the bandits ran off in.* Myrok: My thanks young elf, now I must be on my way! “Biting thumb” was used in Romeo and Juliet, as a sign common to us giving the middle finger… Your character walks up to a shop in the middle of Al'Khazar.
