Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: I'm currently in high school, and enjoy games such as Starcraft and League of Legends along with Minecraft.
How much time could you be on the server weekly?: Depending on my school schedule, 6-12 hours a week.
What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you.: I know quite some bit about roleplaying. I learned a lot from playing on RP servers on World of Warcraft, along with playing Cortex RP(a Starcraft 2 custom game). I make sure to stay in character, and not to do ridiculous things or say absurd things.
Roleplaying as a definition to me is where you become your character, live his life, and make a story for him, with others or without.
In your own Words, describe what Metagaming and Powergaming are. My knowledge of Metagaming is that it's obtaining information out of character, and using in character(without your character learning it himself) and is illegal. Powergaming is using over-powered thing such as saying you instantly capture or kill an enemy.
What do you expect this server will be like?: A largely well played out roleplay, along with a good community.
What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: I've played on Herocraft, and I left because of a lack of entertainment it brought. There isn't any RP on it whatsoever, and it just got old. RP never gets old, it's ever changing.

Character Name: Jorict
What is your Race?: Elf.
Biography(This should include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):
Found alone in the forest, the young elven boy seemed to have lost his memory. He was taken in by a elven family, and was raised to love the land he was given, and not take anything for granted. He was also taught to protect his family, friends, and loved ones. Even if it meant his life. His exact age is not known, but is in his later teens. He has a passionate personality, and does everything wholeheartedly. He is a little over 6 feet tall, and has long, dark, sandy, blonde hair.
Deeper into the story, when Jorict was born, his family felt blessed. They had finally the child they had always wanted. But, the family was a troubled one. The father of Jorict, had been deemed a thief, and the mother a prostitute. Neither were true, but the family had a dark history with evil magics and wicked deeds. The father of Jorict, Ririk, had been the first of his bloodline to fall away from the evil ways, and become a normal citizen, accepting his Elven culture. He married, and they lived happily as a working family, aiding the community and leading steady lives as farmers.
And this is where it went downhill. Their neighbor accused Ririk of stealing a rare family heirloom from his homestead. This accusation wasn't true of course, but Ririk was blamed because of his bloodline. Jorict was born during this time, and soon after he was born, they accused the mother of being a prostitute to a thief.
The family was driven away from their land, leaving all of their possessions behind. While traversing through the mountainous terrains beyond the kingdom, the family soon began rebuilding their shattered lives.
By the age of 5, Jorict was finally leading a semi-normal life. They had a small farm up in the hills near a mountain range outside of the kingdom. This was lawless territory though, and soon the family faced troubles again. Ririk had encountered bandits while out hunting, and was held captive for ransom. The family paid them off, but the bandits wanted more. Soon, Ririk was unable to provide for his family and the entire group of bandits, so he demanded them to begone. This wasn't taken lightly, and the bandits burned the family's farm to the ground. Ririk retaliated, slaying several bandits with his bow, but in the end being overwhelmed.
Jorict and his mother ran, but his mother fell, and was taken by the bandits. Jorict kept running, and lost the bandits in a forsaken forest. Here, Jorict lost all of his memory, he was traumatized by the horrors of the forest, and had only one thought. Survive. No one knows how long he spent there, but when he was found, after he finally escaped, he was somewhere near the age of 12. He recalled nothing, other than how to fight to survive.
This, is the story of Jorict.
Your characters ambitions:
Jorict is an aspiring Ranger, and is excellent with a bow. He also has knowledge of building and farming from his diverse background.
Out in the Wilds, your character comes across a small cottage. Outside, there appears to be an elf struggling combat with two bandits. What does your character do?
Jorict aids the elf deter the bandits, and helps the elf back to his cottage to recover.
Your character walks up to a shop in the middle of Al'Khazar. "Hello, my good sir!" says the shop owner. "What may I help you with today?" How does your character answer?
Jorict gives a small salute to the man, and browses his wares, willing to pay a reasonable price for what caught his eye.
