Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):
Njordr is the bastard son of Baldr Ulfson, founder of the trading post Baldr's landing, in the world of Aegis. Little is known of Njordr's mother, although it was rumored that she was the daughter of a wealthy traveling merchant that perished in a shipwreck near his hometown.
Njordr was born and raised in Baldr's landing; where he learned the trade of fishing and ship building.
Living in Baldr's landing, the Ulfson's were well isolated when the undead came to threaten the world of Aegis. News slowly reached Baldr's landing of the impending horde of undead that had already conquered the great cities of Al'Khazar, Alras, Galahar, and New Terriko.
Njordr caught rumors from the traveling merchants that a new portal had been discovered, and the promised sanctuary from the undead in the Verge. It took many days to convince his father to leave their world behind, and together they packed up what they could in preparation for the long journey to the world beyond the portal.
Once in the Verge, Njordr put his ship building skills to use in building a sailing vessel for him and his father, and they set off in search of a new land to call their own. It was a treacherous journey; during an especially violent storm the ship was damaged, and Baldr fell injured.
With a lack of food and supplies it didn't take long for Baldr's condition to worsen, and within a ten day his life force had been extinguished. Lost and alone, Njordr continued his journey, vowing to honor his father's memory, and hoping to one day restore his family's name and legacy.
As luck would have it, Njordr did reach land within the month. He came upon a rocky coastline, with a small sandy beach large enough to beach his craft, and snowy boreal forest beyond. Njordr immediately set to work building a small living quarters where he could rest, and safely stow the last of his supplies. He also began felling trees to build a funeral pyre, along with a burial mound as a final resting place for his father's remains.
At 24 years old, Njordr carries many of the same traits of his father, especially Baldr's light brown hair, bright blue eyes, and a strong will. Njordr is somewhat of a free spirit, and prefers the open seas, although he does enjoy the company of others from time to time.
What are your Character's ambitions?: Njordr looks to establish himself in this new world just as his father did before him in Aegis.
What is your character’s favorite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc): Njordr is quite handy with a fishing pole and a wood cutters axe
What is one of your Character's most skilled talents? Njordr is a skilled fisherman and a budding ship builder

Open-Response-Questions
Each and every question must be answered with a minimum of a single full paragraph and entirely in RP.
Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond?
Njordr was raised by his father as an honest man, and was taught to always be honorable. In the situation of the halfling and the warriors, Njordr would first hail their attention, and then attempt to assess the situation. Could be the halfling has unpaid debts, which Njordr may offer assistance with, or it could be that the halfling is being unjustly persecuted, in which case Njordr would attempt to stop the warriors (first by words and if necessary then by force).
Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response?
Greetings sir, I am Njordr of the Ulfson clan, and I am here to trade my wares. I am but a humble fisherman and look to trade my catch, as well as minor bits and baubles for your supplies.
Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?:
Njordr was raised to be an honorable man by his father, and yet because he is so young he has a great curiosity. If the area piqued Njordr's interest he may stick around to search for the hut's inhabitants, or he may continue on his current path.
Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond?
Greetings fellow travelers, my name is Njordr, and I seek food and shelter from the wilderness. I have been traveling for some time now, and although I have little wealth, I would be willing to spare a few Minas for your assistance.
You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?:
Njordr did receive a small amount of combat training from his father, and as a lumberjack is quite handy with his axe. He would feel compelled to assist the town guard with expelling the bandits.
Anything else you would like to say?:
