I'm a high school student in the state of Massachusetts. I get along well with others, though I can be a bit more outspoken with people I know.

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you.:
I roleplay in World of Warcraft every day, so I'm experienced in it. To me, a strict definition would be "To act like you are someone or something else." However, on a more personal level, it means fun and creativity. I enjoy expressing myself through the many story arcs that I create.
In your own Words, describe what Metagaming and Powergaming are.
Metagaming is using knowledge gained through out of character means in character. I.E, You know that the orcs will attack here because you talked with an orc in teamspeak, but you don't know in character, and you use it anyways. Powergaming is saying that you win outright, with no say from the other person. I.E, 'Zakkuzi runs up quickly behind Joe Smith; dispatching of him quickly and mercilessly.'
What do you expect this server will be like?:
I expect this server to be fun, serious roleplay in a mature environment of other competent roleplayers.
What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?:
I have not played on any Minecraft Roleplay servers before applying here. I have, however, played on many 'Anarchy' servers, but left because I was killed too many times.

Biography(This should include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):
Landrinn is an elf of 238 Elven years. He has the usual giveaway of dark skin for a dark elf, with gray-blue hair. He is usually wearing some thin purple cloth robes. He is the son of Celerion Anithrandel, and is quite the rebellious child. He easily gets testy with humans or dwarves, simply because he thinks that he can beat them all. He's quite afraid of Orcs, to be honest, and shares a common hatred of Undead.
Your characters ambitions:
Landrinn strives to become a great Elven wizard, and as such, he has been traveling the wilderness with his father in the hopes of learning the ancient elven magics on his own terms.
Out in the Wilds, your character comes across a small cottage. Outside, there appears to be an elf struggling combat with two bandits. What does your character do?
Landrinn slowly approaches the battle, skirting around in the bushes for cover, until he is behind the orcs. He then uses his dark skin to his advantage, climbing up into the shadows of a tree and shouting to gain their attention, allowing the other elf to dispatch them on his own.
Your character walks up to a shop in the middle of Al'Khazar. "Hello, my good sir!" says the shop owner. "What may I help you with today?" How does your character answer?
Landrinn asks the man kindly what the prices of his staves are, being sure to keep his hands at his sides, where the merchant can see them, but cannot touch them.
