  1. Out-Of-Character: Minecraft Account Name: My Minecraft account name is bronco_nud. Did you attend minecon and sign up at the LOTC booth?: No, though i would have liked to attend there was no way i could because of things like cost, travel time and school. How old are you?: My current age is 16. Time-Zone/Country of Residence: EST, My country of residence is Canada. Do you have a good grip on the English language/good grammar?: I have an excellent grip on it. It is the only language i speak, and i often use my laptop to do homework and other tasks, so i am very good at typing. I can type decently fast, but if i am in a pinch i may make a few mistakes. Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: I am currently a young man (16) attending high school. While i do not have as many friends as most kids my age, i still have enough to hang out with once in a while. I fill most of my spare time with video games, mostly in Xbox 360 and the computer. I am one of the nicest people i know, though everyone makes mistakes. How much time could you be on the server weekly?: it would depend on both the real world and in-game events, but i believe it would be minimum 20 hours a week. What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you.: Roleplaying is when someone pretends to be another person and fill their role in the world around them. you must learn to act like the character would act and say what the character would say, etc. Roleplaying for some people a way to have fun by pretending your someone else with a more interesting life then your current one, or someone you would have fun being. Good RP can lead to amazing and realistic situations, and the role players together help create their own world of fantasy. In your own Words, describe what Metagaming and Powergaming are. Though i have never actually heard of them before until recently, i had a vague idea. It appears the powergaming is using RP elements i order to make the opposing player not have a chance to fight back or respond, as well as using unrealistic scenarios. An example “John then punched mr. June into space and killed him instantly.” Metagaming is using out of character (ooc) information in charater (ic). So you cannnot simply read someones name to find out who they are, you must ask. You cannot also use ooc chat information to your ic advantage, like is someone says their about to raid you you cant go outside your base looking for them or start defending, you must pretend you never heard it. What do you expect this server will be like?: I have spent some time looking around as a wandering soul, and so far it looks excellent. People roleplayed better than any server i have seen before and the way the building were built were amazing. Each city had its own feel and style. So i am expecting it will be a very impressive experience that i hope to be a part of. What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: I have played, or rather been on, many servers. It all started when one of my friends invited me to his server. However, because of a misunderstanding i was banned (which he has since apologized for). Looking for a new server i found one and joined it (i cannot remember what it was called, this was a long time ago). It was one of the greatest experiences of my life in terms of online gaming. I served as a city guard and was a respected member of the community. However, the server eventually went through a phase of constant restarts, and i eventually grew tired. I left the server. Recently i have been playing on Garry`s mod roleplay servers. Remembering how much fun i had on minecraft, i started surfing through the servers as a guest. The biggest problem was connection, people would almost vanish when moving. When i found this server its connection was great and i was intrigued. Have you read, understood, and agreed to the rules?: I have read all of them and i agree with them. They all make sense and help support the community. I understand each one of them. How did you hear about us?: I found the server on minestatus. Have you voted for the Lord of the Craft on Minestatus? Which vote number were you?: I have voted, i am number 3155. What is your The Lord Of Craft forum account name?: My user name is bronco, my Forum name is Gronk In-Character Character Name: Gronk`Takar What is your Race?: I am an Orc. Biography(This should include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.): Born a Nomad, Gronk'Takar was very talented in unarmed combat form a young age. He had both a mother and father, as well as a sister. His mother and father were always proud of him, as he would win most of the unarmed youth competition. However, there was one thing that set him out from his fellow Orcs by far: his personality. Unlike most Orcs, he detested the thought of killing another person unless absolutely necessary. He still believed in the glory of the hunt and victory, but would never try to kill his foes, unless it was an animal or a monster. At the age of 15, he had fully matured. He was called “giant” by some of his friends because of his ridiculous size. His skin was Gray and his hair was dark brown. He started to learn from his sister about the other races of aegis, since she used to be a traveller. While he was interested in all of the races, he was especially interested by the Dwarves. He studied their culture and even practised their fighting style. When he was thirty, he discovered his sister was killed by a group of bandits. This did not affect him much because he was never very close emotionally with her. around the same time Orc and dwarf officials realized tensions were growing strong between the Orc and Dwarf kingdom. They decided to have an exchange: and Orc would be sent to live in Kal'urguan and a Dwarf sent to live in Sanjezal. Gronk saw this as an excellent experience for both strength and wisdom and asked to be sent. At first, the Dwarves met him with almost hostility. However, they slowly started to warm up and accept him as a fine warrior. He won various matches with the strongest of Dwarves and was quickly grown to be a respected member of the community. However, racism did not escape him. From time to time they would call him by names he did not like or would attempt to corner him and beat him up (though he simply shrugged them off him as if they were flies). Over time he became the one of the most well known people in his community. As far as making a living he would use his brute strength to collect very large amount of rocks and move then from one place to another. He started to become an excellent miner. Gronk'takar's life fell apart when he was 52. it started when Dwarven scouts returned with the news that the selected dwarf to live in Sanjezal had died on the first day of his life there, killed by a group of radical Orcs. The respect he had worked so hard to earn shattered in an instance. Some of his closest friends continued to see him but refused to walk with him on the streets. The leaders of the Dwarves did not partake in the matter due to more stressing issues. He later received a message that said that his mother and father had both been assassinated by unknown assailants. This meant that the last person in his family who was alive was his grandfather, but he had left Sanjezal when Gronk was young and had not returned. Realizing that Kal'urguan was no longer his home and left. However, he was confronted by a very large group of dwarf radicals just outside the gate. They felt that the death of their friend must be met in the same way by them, so that they might have revenge. They managed to subdue him using several potions and brought him to a secret cave, where they tortured him. Since his time with the Dwarves Gronk's hair had grown long, which seemed like an insult to the Dwarves. They cut every inch of his body and made him bald. Eventually they had tortured him so much they knew he would die soon, so they threw him in a river, expecting him to drown. As he floated down the river, his last thoughts were that he forgave the Dwarves, remembering his grandfathers wise words “bad things happen to all of us, it makes us who we are. Someone who has never had a bad thing happen to them in their life is not a person at all, but an empty shell.” Further down the river the monks from the temple of aegis found him. Your characters ambitions: To regain his honour with the Orcs, live a decent life and rekindle his friendship with the dwarves and other races. To help those i need and to defeat the strong. Out in the Wilds, your character comes across a small cottage. Outside, there appears to be an elf struggling combat with two bandits. What does your character do? I would take up my fists and attempt to fight and subdue the bandits, if not then try to make them run. However, i would keep my guard up, the elf may mistake me for a bandit or an enemy. I would try to tie them up and bring them to the nearest authorities. If they continue to resist, i would have no choice but to kill them. Your character walks up to a shop in the middle of Al'Khazar. "Hello, my good sir!" says the shop owner. "What may I help you with today?" How does your character answer? Ug, id be interested in what ya have for sale. Coudja tell me if der is any kinda sale or daily specials goin on taday? Im 'specially lookin for some food! (talking like an Orc) A screenshot of your skin: Please ignore the crosshair.
