In-Character Details Character Name:hydrayan Character Race:Elf <Wood Elf> Character biography - Make this at least 2 paragraphs long, which must explain your character’s history, appearance, personality, age and any other details you deem necessary:Many moons ago a group of knights came to our town and conquered our lands without any consent from us, but then again since when do conquerors care about the people they're conquering or the places they're pillaging, the only thing they care about is themselves. Going back to what I was saying, during this takeover of our town a few of us townsfolk gathered at the town leader's home so that we could ready ourselves to rebel against the knights. When we finally finished our preparations we charged out and planned to kill any knights in sight, but the weird thing was that when we got outside the knights had all left us for no reason whatsoever, we never found out what really happened that day but after it all happened we just went on with our lives like nothing had ever happened. Not many years later at that very same town another strange thing happened, but this event was much weirder and much worse then the one before. It started with villagers randomly disappearing into thin air, then when someone finally saw what really happened with these people she ran as fast as she could to tell the townsfolk what had happened;as it turned out there was a man going around straight out of the ground grabbing people in the dead of night and taking them back down the manhole, covering it as he went down. The lot of us, once more united, attempted to find this man and find the villagers that had gone missing. What we did not expect was that the man turned out to be a good guy, just a man who wanted to have a few friends is all. The man was allowed to live in the village in exchange for all of the people he had taken and of course the man did this happily since he would be allowed to live above ground for once and not be forced to live underground all the time. Since these events have happened I have made it my goal to find as many odd events as possible before I die, for if I am to become injured and unable to continue my search then I know that I shall continue on crippled. Not as a explorer, but as a family man. "good morning fine dwarf" I say with a smile "I believe you may have what I have been searching for." The dwarf is startled to hear me say such words "Are you insane?! A Diamond sword? You must be insane! Those types of swords can only be crafted by master dwarfs!" "Well I for one believe in you sir, and I know you can do it!" "Well the best I can give you is that I will try, I am NOT saying I will succeed in this but I shall try." he exclaims at once. "Thank you fine dwarf.Here" I say while giving the man a few minas. "consider this an early payment. You shall get the rest when it's finished." "Thank you sir!" the dwarf says as he starts to write down the materials he will need. You’re wandering the Oren Road late at night, when a large Orc begins to threaten a nearby dwarf. There is no help nearby, and the situation looks like it will escalate into violence soon, what does your character do?:When I see the orc threatening the dwarf I yell over to get his attention "HEY! OVER THERE!", although somehow it seems that neither of them can hear me. So I come up with a new plan of action, one that hopefully doesn't involve anyone getting hurt. And then it hits me! I could simply get the dwarf out of there. Even though it may not be the most honorable way to do things it is a way to solve things without violence. As I put my plan into effect suddenly the dwarf pulls out of what seems like nowhere some kind of old looking cane and cracks it over the orc's head. Startled with this act and also seeing that the orc is now unconscious I decide it's time for me to take my leave. Whilst walking down the road to Malinor, you stumble upon an old man. His walking stick , looks weak and frail, and just as you are about to ask something, the stick breaks, and the man falls to the ground. As he falls down, a bag of Minas falls to the ground, and splits open. As you watch the multiple coins spill out, you peer down at the defenseless man. What does your character do?:As I see the bag of minas just sitting there, coins lying around it, a thought pops into my head. "He can't do anything to me, I could take these coins right now... but I shouldn't, this is probably all this man has in life." I then quickly gather up the money and put it back into the bag while the old man groans "Please don't, those minas are all I have nowadays!", but to his surprise I then put the money into his pocket again and lift him as best I can to the nearest tree where I sit him down. "Listen, I'll be right back, I just have to grab something." I say, looking straight into his eyes. I then hurry off to my home where I have a few weapons set up. I figure that a staff should work as a cane for awhile until I can make a proper walking stick. I then hurry back to the man who is now just sitting there mumbling to himself. "Excuse me, sir? I believe that this might work for awhile" I say as I hand him the staff. "You're... you're... helping me? But why? Nobody nowadays cares about old men like us." the man says with enthusiasm in his voice. Which vote number were you?:yes i am vote 179 What is your The Lord Of Craft forum account name?:itsnotmemario In-Character: Character Name:merlin What is your Race?:i am a(N) elf Biography(This should include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):merlin is a 23 year old man, white in color, with dark grey hair who is a adventures hunter/cooker who often goes out and gets meat to cook and breaks leaves for apples. my character started his adventure a few years ago when his parents were horribly murdered. nobody had seemed to know who had murdered them so merlin decided to hunt down the murderer until he was dead he started hunting at age 17 the same year that his parents died after a few years of hunting he finally found the man that did it merlin watched this person for a few days before he shot him dead on through his heart after that day merlin was convinced that he was never feel good again because on that day he had killed a living breathing human and he would never forgive himself a few weeks after the murder merlin went back to his old home what he didn't expect were two letters one from his parents witch he figured was written before they died and one from his friend. his parents letter read..."merlin if you are reading this we are both presumably dead we are both sorry for whatever trouble we have caused you after we left we meant no harm on your behalf we hope that you will make it out on your on in the world and please don't do anything to rational because we would hate for you to live in prison for the rest of your life best (best regards your parents). the letter was not at all what merlin had though it would say but he read the second letter nonetheless but the letter from his friend looked more recent then his parents letter so he figured it could have arrived not to long ago it read "merlin i am sorry to hear about what happened to your parents i am very surprised on the other hand on what you did AFTERWARDS witch was kill a man i do not blame you though since he was a murderer but still it is a little bit unlike you. you are welcome to stay with me as long as needed but please merlin try to get better that is all im really asking from you i know one of these days you will make your parents proud of you (best wishes from your friend justin). from that moment on merlin knew what he had to do, he had to start a new life for himself in his parents honor and that's exactly what he did. Which vote number were you?:yes i am vote 179 What is your The Lord Of Craft forum account name?:itsnotmemario In-Character: Character Name:merlin What is your Race?:i am a(N) elf Biography(This should include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.): merlin is a 23 year old man, white in color, with dark grey hair who is a adventures hunter/cooker who often goes out and gets meat to cook and breaks leaves for apples. my character started his adventure a few years ago when his parents were brutely murdered. nobody had seemed to know who had murdered them so merlin decided to hunt down the murderer until he was dead he started hunting at age 17 the same year that his parents died after a few years of hunting he finally found the man that did it merlin watched this person for a few days before he shot him dead on through his heart after that day merlin was convinced that he was never feel good again because on that day he had killed a living breathing human and he would never forgive himself but from that day on merlin started to think he should have died with the man who killed his parents but he then realized what a mistake it would be to beat himself up over it he had killed his parents he had gotten revenge simple as that he deserved it.after a few years of trying to build back up his old home merlin found a note that his parents left he figured that they had wrote it before they had died the note said... "dear son we are writing this note with hopes that you are able to read it and they hadnt taken it if you are reading this then we are dead we would just like to say we are sorry for everything and we will be giving you all of our possessions including our money we hope you put it all to good use we will see you in the afterlife. love:your mom and dad Your characters ambitions:merlins ambitions are: exploring the land at night so he can fight off waves of horrid monsters to protect his home Out in the Wilds, your character comes across a small cottage. Outside, there appears to be an elf struggling combat with two bandits. What does your character do?my character would go out of his way just to help the fellow elf that is unless the elf proves that he can hold the bandits off himself Your character walks up to a shop in a quiet market. "Hello, my good sir!" says the shop owner. "What may I help you with today?" How does your character answer? my character would answer by saying "hello my friend i would like to purchase some wood so that i may make a pick to mine to the center of the world itself!"
