What do you think the server will be like? - A good experience. I haven't role played in awhile and I'm hoping to get back into it.

What’s the rule you agree with the most?: - Player harassment, blackmailing or discrimination of any kind is forbidden. I really like how I won't be judged for how I play my character.

Definitions
These terms are a major part of the server and in a few of our rules. Please define them so that we can get an understanding of how much you know about roleplaying. What is roleplaying?: - Putting on an act. Being someone different from who you may be in reality and trying to play out that role
What’s metagaming?: - Using information that you obtained OOC and using it IC, even though your character should not know this info.
What’s powergaming?: - Completely ignoring the other persons actions in RP and overpowering them, not giving them a chance to do anything, making your character the one is sole control.

Give us a highlight of their past, What life events make your character the person they are today? This is your character's biography. It is also required to include server lore when writing. (Names of towns, major server events, ect. Most lore can be found on our wiki.): -
Gavlan was born and raised in the Human Capital of Oren, Petrus, after the mass exodus from Anthos to Athera. His father, Gregor, owned a small, unnoticed smithery off in the alleys of the slums in the capital. Gregor managed to scrape by with funds from minor repairs and sales from the few that took heed of their shop. Born into a common family, (if it could even be known as such being only his father and him) not far itself from poverty, Gavlan knew only the life of a smith.
Customers began to thin, growing further and fewer in between. With nothing else to turn to, however, Gregor had no choice but to teach his son in the only trade he had known. When approaching the age appropriate for any form of apprenticeship, his father took Gavlan under his wing. Gavlan spent the next several years of his life beginning to work and perfect his trade. His apprenticeship went smoothly, based wholly on the matter that his master was his father. Surrounded by such daily, even before apprenticeship, the trade came naturally to Gavlan. Soon enough, when his father had aged, Gavlan began to take helm of the shop, bit by bit. In time, Gregor had passed full control of the smithery and forge to his son.
It was during the Waldenian Schismatic War that Gavlan was sent off with the troops. Although Petrus fought for the schism, Gavlan took up arms for the Church of Canon, leaving the home and forge to Gregor once more while he was away. The war was a horror for Gavlan. Growing in a forge, he’d handled plenty of weapon, though never much actually dealt in combat. He knew basics, but not much after that. The war changed such a prospect rather rapidly. Cooperating with his comrades, he furthered his own skill with the blade, but not enough to be considered any truly lethal threat on his own in the field.
When Petrus finally pulled out and Aesterwald collapsed, he returned to his home. Petrus officials had seized both his house and smithery, dubbing him as a once traitor to the city and duchy. His father, now frail, was imprisoned during his absence and passed away due to age and surrounding conditions. Out of fear of what may occur to him in Petrus so soon after the aftermath of the war, as well as distraught and in mourning due to his father’s passing, Gavlan gathered his things and made for another start. There was talk that he could begin fresh. Gavlan set out for the Duchy of Savoy.
What are they like? (personality): - Gavlan is a down to earth guy, who doesn’t let too much get to him. He is rather timid to grab a sword when the time comes, but if it is for friends or family, he will not hesitate to protect them.
What are their ambitions?: - To master his trade, opening up a well-known smithery.
Do they have any special skills? What are their weaknesses? (Try to list a few of both): - He is still learning the trade of blacksmithing and will continue to want to learn. He isn’t the strongest with a blade even though he has been around them a good portion of his life. Also growing up in such circumstances, Gavlan never received proper schooling. He is rather simple minded in that sense, surviving mostly through hard labor above all else.
Give us a description of how they look?: - Gavlan is 6 feet tall, stout and muscular in build. He sports medium, unkempt hair, he is fair-skinned and green-eyed.
