Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: I'm an 18 year old male, currently studying a course in 3D Design and animation. I enjoy playing Minecraft with a couple friends I know from other games, they sort of got me into it. I'm no stranger to roleplay servers, as I've come from a well renowned GTA SA:MP server called LS-RP. How much time could you be on the server weekly?: Alot, let me put it that way. I study 2.5/7 days a week, but the majority of my time is free. What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you.: I've experienced alot of previous roleplaying, gaining most of my knowledge from the SA:MP server I mentioned above, LS-RP. Plus Minecraft RP on the FoCo Minecraft server. To me, roleplay is a way of expressing characteristics of a certain character through actions & emotion. In your own Words, describe what Metagaming and Powergaming are. Metagaming is the use of OOC (out of character) knowledge to benefit from IC (in character). An example would be being told something over MSN, then acting upon this information. Powergaming is the use of unrealistic roleplay, forcing yourself to have unhuman characteristics. For example *(Name) hits (Name) with the club.* *(Name's) head explodes on impact.* What do you expect this server will be like?: I expect this server will be full of people and activity. A friendly community too, so that no problems should arise when playing. What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: The Minecraft FoCo RP server I used to play, but due to lack of funding and activity, the server was shut down. What is your The Lord Of Craft forum account name?: KingMitch In-Character: Character Name: Avos_Brainbarge What is your Race?: Human Biography(This should include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.): The Brainbarge family can follow their family blood line all the way back to Lavandros Brainbarge the very first Brainbarge family member, formed by the uniting of two families by the act of marriage; the marriage of Hovos Brain and Luxius Barge. The Brainbarge family is known for being well accustomed with the act of commerce and trade, many of the family members spending their entire adult life in trading caravans earning their fortunes so they may continue this form of lifestyle, while also sending back their profits to the family household. Although the Brainbarge family has now whittled down to a mearge number of sixteen family members ((four of these will be people playing as the characters themselves)), many of them in caravans and several back at the family household raising the Brainbarge children. However there are several exceptions to the Brainbarge trader lifestyle where some of the offspring go on to become farmers; healers; adventurers and, although unfortunate, a few have become bandits. (This has been taken from the Brainbarge family notes and this is the basic Brainbarge family script which has been posted before by other members so we do not mis-match our family history and make it corrupted.) Avos Brainbarge is the second oldest of the current generation of offspring. Along with his brother, Loxley, joined the mercenary company to avoid the life bestowed upon them. To veer away from the family trade. Due to harsh conditions faced by the Mormont War, Avos split from the mercenary company, fearing for his life. He kept in touch with his brother, Loxley, to ensure that once the war was over, he too would reunite with what little family he had left. Avos is a 38 year old man, with a head of grey hair, a Brainbarge burden as it may seem. His introduction to the trading services at a young age gave him quite the silver tongue, someone who can barter and persuade others without effort at all. But underneath it all, Avos is filled with rage, the Mormont War almost costing his life brought grave dangers among him and his family. Dangers he could not rid himself, dangers that would follow him throughout the rest of his life. Your characters ambitions: Avos wishes to travel with his brother, Loxley. Hopefully setting up and continuing the family trade market, but nothing too serious. He wishes to establish a community, a town, somewhere that will ensure his families name is not forgotten. Out in the Wilds, your character comes across a small cottage. Outside, there appears to be an elf struggling combat with two bandits. What does your character do? Assist the elf against the bandit, but enquire about a reward for the action. Your character walks up to a shop in a quiet market. "Hello, my good sir!" says the shop owner. "What may I help you with today?" How does your character answer? Hello shopkeep, I'd like to know the way to the local bakery.
