Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: I am just an average kid, I got a little bored with my small server that I ran with friends. I wanted more adventure and RPG aspects while they just wanted to hoard diamonds... I'm looking for a place where I can make friends and go on grand adventures while exploring the world! How much time could you be on the server weekly?: Ranging from 14 to 20 hours a week. What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you.: Roleplaying is where you create a completely new person within a game. You build their entire history, personality, looks--every last detail about them and you use that character to tell an ever-progressing and changing story with other characters. In your own Words, describe what Metagaming and Powergaming are. Metagaming- Where a character makes decisions or knows things they should not know within a roleplay, such as a character making decisions that they normally would not and should not without influence and personal bias by the person playing the character. Powergaming- Where a player builds a character to gain lots of power quickly and exploit the system by hoarding loot and powerleveling rather than playing the game for enjoyment or for the story of the roleplay. What do you expect this server will be like?: I'm hoping it will create politics within Minecraft, making different civilizations that work together or fight each other to get to the end goal. I'm hoping that it will create an immersive story with depth and complex, interesting characters. What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: I have played on a few servers like the roleplay server "Eden". I left because almost all Roleplay was abandoned. Then for the past few months I have been hosting a build server for me and some friends, but I'm getting bored with the lack of adventure... Have you read, understood, and agreed to the rules?: Yes. Yes,3,968 What is your The Lord Of Craft forum account name?: BulimicTurtle In-Character: Character Name: Aldwulf Eriksson What is your Race?: Human (Nordic) Biography(This should include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.): Growing up in the far North I've always had a tough life. When I was 12 my father died leaving me and my ma. We had nothing so when I got older I joined the Great armies of Oren. In my tours of the land I saw many things--the great towering tree homes of the Elves, the blistering deserts of the Orc homeland, even the secretive Dwarves' breathtaking underground chambers! But as I grew older the struggle of war began to tire me, so I left the armies as they passed by a peaceful little monastery in hopes of starting a new life for myself! Your characters ambitions: I hope to someday become the greatest traveling merchant in all the lands!I have had this dream ever since seeing the traders come to my village each spring, selling the most amazing things--Exotic bird feathers from the Forests of the Elves and the precious gold jewelry of the Dwarves to the fine weapons of the Orcs! Oh how I wanted to travel with them but, alas, maybe now is my time! Out in the Wilds, your character comes across a small cottage. Outside, there appears to be an elf struggling combat with two bandits. What does your character do? Heart pounding, I reach for my slender sword. Without drawing it I carefully rest my hand on the pommel. Slowly I approach the group. As I call for attention, the three turn. My courage ebbing I ask about the problem. After several long minutes of trying to negotiate with the men I make the mistake of turning my back to one of them. Ice runs through my blood as I hear the slow, long iron hiss of a sword being drawn. With lightning quick reflexes I turn and draw mine all in one swift motion. Then just as quickly I disembowel the man. Turning my attention to the other bandit I see he is already mid-swing. I parry his blow, smash him in the back of the knee with the butt of my sword and as he stumbles I decapitate him with a quick, well-aimed strike. I apologize to the elf woman for the commotion. She chuckles and says "Thank you!" as she offers me a place to stay for the night. Your character walks up to a shop in a quiet market. "Hello, my good sir!" says the shop owner. "What may I help you with today?" How does your character answer? "Hail good sir! I would like a look at your wares. For I, myself, am a merchant always looking for the great oddities from all across the land!"
