His family consisted of his mother, Helga, his father, Fragnar and himself. His mother was very generous and naive, but his father was quite greedy, wise and suspicious., so they would have small arguments when talking about donations, charity or letting people into their house or letting them travel alongside them (Which was unlikely anyway because they didn’t travel very much). Grumbar ate when hungry (Which was most of the time), practised fighting when bored (Which he was never very enthusiastic about it except when he was drunk.) His uncle Fargar was a miner, who said that Grumbar was a good miner who was very lucky when mining. He made his living by mining. When the boats left for Anthos he was one of the first to get on as he was eager on mining a new land with new caves to explore. He took his trusty pickaxe with him which he lost when he dropped it off the edge of the boat to Anthos. So when he arrived he was quite annoyed and mined in solitude with a new pickaxe which could never match his old one. He only had one friend in Asulon, Lugdur who he was separated from when moving to Anthos. He met Lugdur when he was a small child, he was walking about obliviously when he tripped over a small rock, he hit his head off of the ground very hard so his vision was quite unclear. He says he saw a blurred silhouette of a boy not much older than him helping him up. Lugdur helped Grumbar home and was invited in by Grumbar’s mother. Grumbar’s father sat in a chair in the corner grumbling while reading a book titled “Boats and Ships” and every few minutes he would look over the book suspiciously at Lugdur. But meanwhile Lugdur, Grumbar and Helga were talking away and eating. Lugdur introduced himself and so did Grumbar. From that point on they were best friends… until the ship to Anthos. What are they like (personality)?: - He is grumpy to most strangers, but once he knows someone he is warm and caring. He is very protective of his loved ones. What are their ambitions?: - His ambitions are to be the very best miner in the entire land, and find someone to make a pickaxe worthy of his ambitions. What are their weaknesses?: - He isn’t a good fighter, which isn’t helped by his short temper and protectiveness and when he’s drunk he will most likely get in a fight with anyone who annoys him, he mostly loses. When he gets into drunken brawls he always wins. He has ginger hair, a bushy beard andis quite poor.When he was a little boy he was fascinated by clocks, the time and the sun and moon. His father was a clockmaker and was very happy with his job and loving family. Ulkmer used to help out his father and watch him work. When Ulkmer was 23 years old his mother grew sick and passed away. His father was having a rough time and eventually went missing. The local people eventually stopped searching and said he was dead, but Ulkmer thought he was still alive somewhere like out wandering the wilds or something. Right now Ulkmer is 29 years old and followed his father's footsteps and became a clockmaker he tried out making swords one time and was guite good at it he practiced and practiced helping out blacksmiths untill he got a job as a blacksmith. The shopkeeper is not a Human, he is a poor dwarf looking to make a living in a new city. What is your response? I say "Hello have you any bread for sale?" The shopkeeper reaches for something beneath his counter and pulls out a big loaf of bread he says " this is all the bread I have I'm running low and need some more. Actually could you go out to my field and harvest my wheat and bring it here please." I then says alright but I will need that loaf." the shopkeeper then says "okay it's a deal." when I reach the farm he notices something in the crops it looked like it was taking them. It emerged from the wheat and unsheathed an Iron sword It pointed the sword at me and said "Go away b'fore ye get yerself inte' trouble!" I say "Stop! Drop the wheat it's illegal to steal!" The thief drops the wheat and charges towards me. I quickly unsheath my sword and swing it the tief dodged and attacked me he just grazed my cheekbone leaving a small scratch I swing my sword at his chest, killing him on the spot. when I get back to the shopkeeper with the wheat I say " you do not know how hard this was." taking the bread and walking away. You’re wandering the Oren Road late at night, when a large Orc begins to threaten a nearby dwarf. There is no help nearby, and the situation looks like it will escalate into violence soon, what does your character do? I walk over and say "hello what seems to be the problem?" The large orc says " He stole My magical necklace!" I say "I'm guessing your a shaman then." giving the dwarf time to run away the orc says "why did you do that?" I say "Well I know by the look on both your faces if he had it he would have given it back and thieves don't wear rich looking clothes." Whilst walking down the road to Malinor, you stumble upon an old man. His walking stick , looks weak and frail, and just as you are about to ask something, the stick breaks, and the man falls to the ground. In-Character: Character Name: Murkal What is your Race?: Dwarf Biography(This should include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.): Murkal is a thirty eight year old dwarf man, he has been fascinated by engineering and putting things together since he was six years old. At the coast of a far away island, there was a small poor village. The only thing keeping them alive was the fishing they had done. In that village lived a six months old baby boy who lived in a small house. When the village was very short on money and was very vulnerable, a group of orc bandits raided us and burnt down the city Me and my mother escaped on my father's ship, my father wasn't so lucky. We docked the boat at the land of Asulon. from then on I lived a good enough life and became a blacksmith. I was wandering around and met a man named Reman ((OOC my brother pengepi)). He asked for an iron sword and I forged him the best iron sword he ever had because secretly I put some diamond in to it. One day the same bandits that raided my village found out I had escaped and raided my blacksmith, luckily I had my sword on the counter and I killed the bandits but it was too late too save my workshop. They had already burnt it down. a couple of days later I met Reman in an inn told him that I was needing a house so he let me stay in his for a while. Not too far away from the village there was a bandit camp. the bandits came every now and again looking for gold and other valuable things. One winters day the bandits came but we did'nt have anything to give them, they burnt down the village. The only survivors were me and my father. we took refuge in a cave until i grew up and got a sword and started hunting. From then on I had a better life. I joined a group of hunters when I was about twenty. One of my favourite hunters was Reman ((OOC brother Pengepi)) who then trained me. I am now thirty four, I wear a long coat because i like traveling through snowy places and i am a bit short tempered at times. The Orc baby was found and raised by a family of Dwarves. He grew up with them until he was almost too big to get out their door, he left one day and wandered. It was getting dark up in the mountain he was wandering and he heard some strange noises and discovered that there was a huge wolf hiding behind him, he jumped back and lunged his axe into the wolfes mouth.
