Roleplaying is actually pretty important to me since I do it so much on other games. If I was told something about the server IRL, like a war was coming on a certain date, my character wouldn't actually know that because it's Metagaming. Powergaming is an RP struggle of sorts, where if I was to type *grabs the enemy's arm and holds him down so he can't hurt me* he would have no ability to fight back, and I'd be acting super overpowered and generally like a jerk. He loves mining, He adores dual weilding, He loves to build houses, even when he was 24 years of age. Thorgus once had a bad dream of zombies eating him. He absolutly hates undead minnsters that make him angry when he sees them. This is the lore of Thorgus The Dwarf, I hope you like it. Thorgus was a real chip off the old block when he was a kid. His father was interested in sword fighting and his mother was interested in cooking and blacksmitherie. His father taught him everything he knew. One sunny day, on his 24th birthday his dad taught him how to make houses with all sorts of materials like wooden planks and roofs with cobblestone. He was really good at making houses that his father thought he was ready to venture of into the mines and continue the family business. When suddenly, a bunch of Orcs challenged him to a dual to the death. He took his mighty Diamond Axe out of his knapsack that his dad made him when he was 18 years old and and his diamond sword out of his knapsack and killed all of the Orcs that were there and finally all of the Orcs were defeated. He saw that the Orcs were carrying a bunch of wooden planks and rare ores that costed a fortune. He took the stacks of diamonds and wooden planks and continued his adventure to the dwarf city where he can finally make his father proud by making a house and and mining some more rare ores. It was getting dark so Thorgus stopped at a hotel for the night and rested until morning. The next morning, Thorgus put on his clothes and grabbed his stuff and payed the manager and left him a tip of one diamond he got for killing those Orcs. He walked towards the road and heard a traveler cry like a little baby who got his stuff stolen. The traveler said that the Orcs stole the dwarf city's whole armory for their own and they have been using it for 4 strait wars. Thorgus thought that bringing him all the armory's stuff back was a good idea, so Thorgus went to the Orc city and take back the armory that the dwarf city lost 16 years ago.He got to the city and climbed the Orc city walls like a monkey cause climbing was one of his ability's he killed the Orc at the top of the wall with his diamond Axe. He had to stop on top of the wall and clean his Diamond Axe.After he cleaned his Axe, he walked down to the stolen armory and sneaked back to the dwarfish city traveler and gave the armory back to him. He asked the traveler the directions of the city and he said it was north east from here. Thorgus said thanks for the directions. After 3 days of walking Thorgus finally got to the dwarf city. The gate keeper said "Hello there fellow dwarf, what are you doing here on such a fine day"? Thorgus said that he was here to make his father proud and mine rare ores and build his very own house. The Gate guard said that there was a shop down on 2nd street. Thorgus got permission to enter and he went to the shop to craft a diamond Pick Axe and get some more supplies to make his own house. He went in the shop and the shop keeper said "How may I help you?". Thorgus said that he wanted supplies to build a house in this city and where can I craft my Diamond Pickaxe. The shop keeper said that the crafting table and the furnace were beside the counter and supplies for the house you want would be 10 diamond ores and the plot would cost 50 dwarfish dollars. Thorgus gave him the diamond ores and the 50 dollars. The shop keeper said you can have 64 extra coal as a gift for doing these things. He crafted the Diamond Pickaxe and went to his plot and made his very own house with his supplies he got from the shop and made a very nice house that he thought was a really good home. But,, he did not finish the house completely. A dwarf came up to him and said have you heard of the story of the fall of aegis? Thorgus said no and the dwarf told him the story about how a brave soul went into the Nether (Sealed or sacred realm. I forget which one it was). He sacraficed himself into a pool of lava and aegis was saved until the Undead Soldiers took aegis for them selves. Thorgus decided to liberate aegis from those villainous Undead Soldiers. He went to the Undead territory of aegis and he saw the Undead were really evil and turned aegis into one scary city. A bunch of Undead soldiers saw him and knocked him out with a knock out flare. He awoke and found himself in the Undead prison. He ripped off the chains he was tightly chained chained in and broke out of prison with his massive strength through 16 walls and ran towards a boat outside the prison which would take him back to the dwarf city if he steered the boat right. He finally got back to the city of the dwarfs when a group of dwarfish soldiers walked by. Thorgus asked them if they wanted to grab all of their friends and take on the Undead city. They agreed and Thorgus asked the dwarf king if he could use the soldier/war meeting room. The king said it was alright to use it. 5 days later the soldiers returned with their human, elf and dwarf friends and the war against the Undead started. After 20 years, aegis was liberated and the army won the war. The army returned to the dwarf city. The king threw a big party and the whole army and the whole city except the people that died during the war was invited. After diner, The king announced a toast to the dwarf that led the army of Heroes. After the toast the king asked Thorgus what he was going to do next. Thorgus said he was going to finish his home in this city. But the king said you can be the leader of this fine city and you can visit the old city any time you like and you will have a statue of yourself as a war legend in the city that the finest builder are rebuilding. Thorgus said that would be lovely, I am thankful for this army winning the war of the Undead. Now all of the Lord Of The Craftia can now live in peace. After the diner, Thogus was the new leader of this new dwarf city. After 10 years, Aegis was finally rebuilt and all of the people of asulon returned to their righful places in the four cities of Aegis where they live happily and there were no signs of any undead soldier around. Aegis was finally at peace and Thorgus was called the savior of aegis. After the naming ceremony, Thorgus returned to his house in the dwarfish city and he saw it was completly diffrent. It looked like a mansion had swallowed his old home and replaced it. Thorgus was really happy to see that the people of the new dwarf city made this house in their apreciation. He went inside and went upstairs and rested until the next day. He went to his office in the new city and wrote his adventures in the vast world of Lord Of The Craft, After 2 weeks he finished the story and he stored it in his bookcases on the lower level and went back up to sit on his chair in his office and saw there was a gift for him at his door to his office. It was strangely written in elf, He could not read it, so he went to his cubberd in his office and pulled out a elf translation book and read it. The gift said "Imortallity potion, Handle with care". Thorgus opened the gift like a mad man and drank it like a guy in a bar having his 4rth cup of beer. He would now live forever and be the leader of the new dwarfish city till the end of time. Your character's ambitions: His ambitions are: Keeping up the family busines so his father would be proud of him and he would be really happy, Mine some rare diamond and gold ores so he can hapilly sell them for building supplies and lastlly, to save aegis from a terrible undead presence that gave him bad nightmares as a child. The undead presence also threatened all of aegis to leave and never come back. With the help of a Army of Heroes with the courage and the strength that will save aegis and liberate it from the undead horde of monsters and horrible things that might come out of the great city of the undead that the undead built and protected for several years on end. Out in the Wilds, your character comes across a small cottage. Outside, there appears to be an elf struggling combat with two bandits. What does your character do?: Thorgus would be outraged at the badits that they would hurt a elf at a cottage like this and thought that the bandits were stupid to take on the elf while thorgus was around. He yelled at the bandits and said leave this elf alone, Otherwise you will taste the wrath of my size 12 boot in you butt with a serving of death by my mighty diamond axe. If the bandits looked tougher then thorgus, he would take off his size 12 boot and thorw it at them. If they would stay Thorgus would grab out his sword and his axe and say "Wanna GO"? really mad like and kill all of the bandits that were at the cottage. After the fight, Thorgus would say to the elf "Are you ok"? The elf would reply "Never better, Thanks". Thorgus would say "No problem" and he would continue walking past the cottage with a pride of joy because he helped that elf, because it was really nice of him. Yes, Vote number 1,462 What is your The Lord Of Craft forum account name?: Ragingbullet In-Character: Character Name: Thorgus Beasthandle What is your Race?: Dwarf Biography(This should include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.): Throgus was brought up by his parents who were both Miners and he was expected to continue the family business. From a young age he showed a natural talent for it. He was part of a bustling community but he didn’t get on as well with other children except for the kings son. It was here that Thorgus really began to become receptive to the strengths and weaknesses of certain weapons and how they were suited to people. He and his parents got along well and they were able to tell that even though he was excellent at it, Mining may not be his calling but they were prepared to respect that. Unfortunately during a massacre on his village of Racknov both of his parents were killed and he had to fend for himself. He knew that he needed money and with no animals, he couldn’t sell livestock. He picked up some weapons and armor from his house and travelled the land selling items to make ends meet. Thorgus came across a certain village where nothing seemed correct and it seemed bereft of life. He walked around hoping to sell something but no-one saw he was there. Soon he realized that this was a village of Dark Elves who hated all Dwarfs; he was to be put to death but when in prison, he was put in the same cell as someone else in his position, they were a petty criminal who stumbled across the wrong town. The village in question was small so there weren’t many elves available for guard duty and only two guards on patrol; Thorgus and the criminal waited until night, tripped the guard on his way past their cell, they got beaten pretty bad for it but the guard dropped a couple of lockpicks which they used to bust out, collect their stuff and ‘dispatch’ of the other guards, on the way out he saw the bodies of his parents. He has now built up a hatred for dark elves and doesn’t venture as much as he used to. Thorgus is 34 years of age, rather Small and of a thin stature. He still loves the spirit of exploration of caves but he is not afraid to encounter hostiles again as he has basic combat ability but is a warrior. He wears a hat to cover his eyes as he feels that he will show weakness in them. Your characters ambitions: He wishes to build up the strength to go on another adventure and to have a group of people who he can call friends and one day, they would be a group of travelling miners, builders and swordsmen.
