Out-Of-Character:
Am i supposed to explain OOC here, or give you information OOC?
Minecraft Account Name:
Mewsman
Did you attend minecon and sign up at the LOTC booth?:
I did not attend to Minecon, as I live in Norway.
How old are you?:
Im 16 Years of age.
Time-Zone/Country of Residence:
I live in Norway, as stated in Question 2.
Do you have a good grip on the English language/good grammar?:
My motherlaguage is not English, so you can't expect the grammar of a brite, but I got more than good enough grammar for this, I do believe.
Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself:
I like playing video games, and have been playing MineCraft since 1.3_01.
Im pretty creative, and spends the entire game playing games, mostly.
I go to school, so I won't be here to much at schooldays, but after school and
homework is done, I will surely come on to play on this (seemingly) great server!
How much time could you be on the server weekly?:
I probably answered this above; I play heaps of MineCraft, if the server seems good I will spends hours on end here.
What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you.:
I like love roleplaying. I sometimes do it in real life, I play GMod Roleplay servers, I played other MineCraft Strict Roleplaying Servers etc.
In your own Words, describe what Metagaming and Powergaming are.
Metagaming and Powergaming. It seems every roleplaying server on every god damn game in the world asks this. Also, this isn't timed or live, if I didn't know I could just google it.
To force someone to do something in roleplaying, like *me killz n00b.* is wrong.
Doing *Me attacks Noober with a wild slash of my blade* is correct.
The other is the feared, and hard to follow; You don't know your OOC biznis IC.
Using Minimaps, OOC-Chat or Nametags to know things is WRONG.
I hope this explanation is good enough, because I find it hard to explain myself better.
What do you expect this server will be like?:
Since I see it's based on Lord of the Rings (I hope..) it seems very promising.
The proffesional feel of the website also helps, and the deep Application Sheat isn't bad, either.
What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: I wont list them, far to many, if you got the Ban Database thing you might see my name somewhere, but dont judge me after that. My definite favorite server shut down a (half?) year ago, and since then i've been bored.
Have you read, understood, and agreed to the rules?:
Yes, I did. It might be a question about understanding them, but I think I did.
I understood that i'm not going to go against the rules, and that i'm going to follow them strictly. I will keep OOC things to myself, and only chat IC with correct use of "'s and *'s.
I will not Metagame, nor Powergame, or break any of the rules mentioned.
I will not use hacks, flymods, X-Ray, See-Tru-Texture's or anything like it.
How did you hear about us?:
A random forum page, I can not link you nor say who posted the link here, because I sincerly doesn't remember.
Have you voted for the Lord of the Craft on Minestatus? Which vote number were you?
No, I did not.
Why would i vote for a server before I got to try it out?
If voting helps my application, screw it. That's a cheap way of getting votes.
Cowardish.
What is your The Lord Of Craft forum account name?:
Isn't that obvious? Scroll up and read *Mewsman* out loud. Problem solved.
In-Character:
Shall I describe IC now, or list up information about my character? I tought that came later.
IC is what happens to your character, and only what he know's.
Character Name:
Ouch, that's a hard one. I don't know if the name is taken or not either..
Esshh.. Let me go BRB for a few minutes and think of a name.
...
I might take on the name Boron, and the race of Dwarfs. Boron means Steadfast in Old Sindarin, so it would be a quite fitting name.
A dwarf named Bragollach would be awesome to, The Sudden Flame!
...
Yes, I hereby take on the name of Bragollach, The Leaping Flame, otherwise known as The Sudden Flame, and Boron the Steadfast in distant countries, and as a name I use when im in hiding from hostile forces. Boron the Faithfull is another take on the name, and I might find myself to fancy that, to. The Dwarf of Many Names and The Leaping Flame of the North.
...
Yes, that sounds spectacular.
What is your Race?:
Oh gods, just read up above. I am the Steadfast, Faithfull Dwarf, the Master of the Sudden, Leaping Flame!
Biography(This should include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):
Bragollach is old, but it does not show. He appears fierce and wise, fiery red hair and bear, which reaches down to his belly, which might just be a little bit round and soft.
I come from the Fiery Depths of Volcanoes, Steadfast as a rock, faithfull as a hellhound.
My rage conjures far more heat than the fiercest Balrog, and the Fires of Ûdun got a harsh competition in me.
With his childhood of swimming in Lava, diving for Mythril and Diamonds, he is not a warm man, metaphoricly speaking.
With a cold, measuring and cynical hearth this is NOT the dwarf you would trust your life.
Your characters ambitions:
The Sudden Flame's ambitions is in the far run to cover the world in fire and lava, with molten rock and harsh ash flying all over. This is obviously close to impossible, and in the short run, a few hundred centuries, my ambitions is to gather immense riches of wealth, build huge halls under the ground for my clan, and to become feared and respected in every crinch of the society.
Out in the Wilds, your character comes across a small cottage. Outside, there appears to be an elf struggling combat with two bandits. What does your character do?
Rushing to arms, I would strike down the first bandit with a heavy blow from my huge, molten waraxe, and would use the pointy lower end to stab him trough his chest.
With a swift move I would lift the axe and block a deadly swipe from the other bandit, whom has now incapacited the Elf. After a short struggle, I kick him in the balls with iron-studded boots, cracking them like peanuts under a Mûmakil.
The Bandit then falls to his knees, yelling that he yields, but with a sideswipe his head flies over, smashing into the cottage, sour smoke erupting from the burnt flesh.
Then I would turn over to the elf, and I would help him to his feet.
He would thank me sincerly and award me with money, and after a short
conversation I discover that he is indeed a rich merchant travelling trough.
Seconds after this, the Elf to, is lacking a head, and a much richer dwarf continues his travels toward a hellish earth; His utter dreams, much closer with the elf's immense richness.
Your character walks up to a shop in a quiet market. "Hello, my good sir!" says the shop owner. "What may I help you with today?" How does your character answer? I would most likely never visit such a shop, when my need for wares arrive I trade in the cheap and obscure dark districts, as we call them.
But if this WOULD happen, I would grunt what i needed, pay, and leave.
Or maybe I would have drew my blade, killed the man, grabbed the goods, lit fire to the building and leave the wooden hamlet, all the houses with straw-roofs, behind me, a blazing inferno and a hell on earth.
A screenshot of your skin:
Well, until now i've been using a Pennywise the Clown skin, but I just downloaded
a nice dwarf skin, and booted up .net to edit it accordingly.
In 5-10 minutes, expect a Fiery Looking Dwarf.
...
Okay, half done..
...
Oh gods this application takes forever to make..
...
There, I found myself building a scene for the picture. Pretty bad...
Other Information:
I doubt more is needed, I'm tired of typing.
Hope i get accepted.
