  1. Out-Of-Character Minecraft Account Name: Lord_RavenClaw54 How old are you?: 13 Time-Zone/Country of Residence: EST, GMT-5 Do you have a good grip on the English language/good grammar?: Yes Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: I'm a fun person, who can be funny at times and serious at other times. Although I have only recently gotten minecraft, I am a quick learner, and am already quite good. How much time could you be on the server weekly?: Weekdays 2-3 hours, weekends 3-5 hours What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you: Roleplaying is when you take on a new character, it can be anyone, well anyone relevant to the game, you explore the world as that new person. What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?: I have not had any experience with roleplaying before but I am a fast learner, and I'm sure I will catch on quick. In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is: Meta gaming is using information you learned out of character, to benefit yourself in game. An example would be if you learned about a secret raid on a town on the forums, you wouldn't know about it as your character, so you couldn't tell anyone about it, or it would be metagaming. In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Gaming is: Powergaming is when you do something unrealistic as your character. For example, say you were a halfling, and you got into a fight with an orc, and won, this would be power gaming because halflings don't fight, and even if they did, the orc would easily beat him. What do you expect this server will be like?: I expect the server to be an amazing and fun experience. I want to meet new people, explore the lands, and have a great time roleplaying! What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: I played on a server that my friends made before. I left because it was so small, and eventually even he stopped going on it, that was the only server I have played on before though. Have you read, understood, and agreed to the rules?: Yes, I have. Do you promise to abide by said rules, and laws? This includes the Server, Forum, and Teamspeak set Rules: I solemnly swear. How did you hear about us?: My brother told me about you guys. I would watch him play and it looked so fun that I wanted to join so badly, so here I am now. Have you voted for the Lord of the Craft on Minestatus? Which vote number were you?: yes I have, I was vote number 3,061 In-Character: Character Name: Sentor What Race are you?:Human What Sub-Race are you? (note, you aren’t required to have a sub-race): Halfling Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.): As the human boat nears the shore of the new lands Sentor takes in a deep breath. He is a bit worried, he doesn't know what he will find here, and who he will meet. He reminisces of his old town of Dunwood, he misses it so much, and hopes everyone he knew from there made it to the ships. There is a slight bump as the the ship digs into the soft sand and comes to a halt. Everyone is nervous, so no one gets off yet. One by one the ship empties, everyone is eventually gone, except Sentor, he wearily heads toward the edge of the ship, and jumps. The new land, the new water, a new life. He steps onto the beach, where there is a swirling mass of people scared and worried looking for their loved ones. He sees a few tents and heads up toward them. After taking a small time to gather himself he asks where he may find his fellow halflings, and he is told they are trying to set up a village like everyone else. He stayed in the new temple, waiting for news of his kin, and one day, he gets a bird, telling him of a halfling village called Branborough. His new life begins today. When Sentor arrived in the new land he was welcomed by the other halflings. They saw a young halfling, probably about 20 years old. His brown jacket and pants, and white undershirt were worn and tattered from journey. His hair was brown and messy, his eyes, dark brown like soil, and his lips curled into a massive grin. He was happy to finally be home. What is your Character's ambitions?: he wants to help his community grow and prosper. To do this he'll help on the farms, fish do anything he can in order to help. He never wants anyone to ever feel as alone as he did at the temple. What is your character’s favorite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc): His favorite tool is a hoe. He uses it in the fields to fertilize the soil and collect wheat and watermelon. If he is ever attacked by a monster he can hit it with his hoe, he can lean on it, show it off to others, anything he wants, a hoe is perfect. What is one of your Character's most skilled talents? Sentor is a very skilled farmer. In the land of Aegis he farmed as a young boy. He grew up farming, grew up around others who farmed, grew up in a community focused on farming, and he will continue farming in this new town he has just arrived in. A screenshot of your skin (must be in proper format): Other Information about your Character: After experiencing such solitude at the temple, Sentor has grown to love a simple thing, the presence of others. He will never forget those lonely days and nights, and he will never take the gift of company for granted, he will treasure it dearly, forever. Open-Response-Questions Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond? As soon as I see the halfling I want to go help, but then I think, I am no help to him, I'm no bigger thank him, no stronger... but I can't leave him. So I would reluctantly walk over to the poor halfling, and shout, "Hey, you two!" as their heads turn I begin to second guess my decision, but I stand strongly and surely and say, "Leave this halfling alone!" if they come after me, I would have no choice but to run, but if they ignore me, I would shout again, as they walk toward me, I motion for the halfling to run, as I must do as well, hopefully I am quicker than these two men..... Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response? "Hello good sir, I was hoping for some farming materials, do you have any hoes, or seeds, or even cattle, you see I come from a race of farmers and herders, so I could always use some things to help me out on the farm!" Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?: I see the iron bars and greedily grab them with wide eyes, and a watering mouth, I can thank my dwarven ancestry for that. Then, as I see the golden sword I think, "what will I be able to do with a golden sword, I don't even know how to hold the damn thing! But, I could sell it" I then shake my head, it would just add extra weight to carry, and make my journeys harder. Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond? I would kindly respond to the people, "Hello there, this is quite a nice camp ye have here." I would get a friendly conversation going, and as the sun sets behind me I would kindly ask, "would ye mind allowing me to sleep here for the night, I don't want to be killed by those damned monsters that come out in the night." You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?: "The reward sounds quite nice to me," I think, "but I would be of no help, I am a mere halfling, I can't fight, I would just be one other body to pick up out on the battleground" I then make the wise decision to stay back, and continue on with my day.

I have just been playing on single player right now, and want to join a fun and enjoyable server. How much time could you be on the server weekly?: Weekdays 1-2 hours, Weekends anywhere from 3-5 hours What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you: I know that roleplaying is diving into a completely different world, as a completely different character. To me it is playing as someone perhaps based on who you strive to be, but in a whole roleplaying is becoming a different person, and playing as that person. What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?: I have never actually had any experience but I catch on quick, and am a fast learner :) In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is: Meta-gaming would be when you learn something out of character and use it to your advantage in-game. Say you learned about a war on the forums, your character wouldn't know of this war yet so you couldn't tell people of it in game. In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Gaming is: Power gaming is doing something unrealistic as your character. Say you were a little halfling and you said that your character defeated an orc, this would never happen, because halflings rarely fight, and even if they did, they wouldn't be able to defeat an orc. What do you expect this server will be like?: I expect to have a great experience as my character and have a great time roleplaying. I also want to even make some new friends in real life as well as in character. Overall I just want to have a great time with this amazing community that has been built here. What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: I have never actually played on another server, as I said I have just recently gotten minecraft and haven't had much time to explore the different server. However, I still will be able to deliver some great rp to the server :) Have you read, understood, and agreed to the rules?: Yes I have, I think all the rules are fair, and should be strongly enforced. Do you promise to abide by said rules, and laws? This includes the Server, Forum, and Teamspeak set Rules: I solemnly promise. How did you hear about us?: My brother told me about you, he was told by his friend of this great community and when I heard of it I new I wanted to join right away. Have you voted for the Lord of the Craft on Minestatus? Which vote number were you?: Yes, I have and I believe I was vote 3,061. In-Character: Character Name: Sentor What Race are you?: Human What Sub-Race are you? (note, you aren’t required to have a sub-race): Halfling Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.): Day and night he traveled. Through snowy mountains, and harsh deserts. He met many on the way, fellow halflings, humans, and the occasional orc, which he wisely hid from. Many nights he almost gave up the strain of days of travel was almost too much, but the thought of meeting his fellow halflings pushed him forward. He dreamt of once again holding a sturdy hoe in his hand, and grinning as he collects wheat from the massive farms. And then one day he saw the majestic bridges across the river passing through the town of Branborough. The inhabitants of the town welcomed him. It wasn't every day they met a new halfling. They saw his messy brown hair, brown jacket and green undershirt. He looked weary from travel but still young, probably about 20 years of age. As he settled into the town he lead a calm and peaceful life. He would farm and gather his necessary wheat and watermelon, he would eat and drink some ale with his friends, and then one day, when he was really comfortable and settled in, he told his story.... "I grew up in a small lit'le house far away from others. I lead a peaceful life, until one terrible day. A storm began to brew overhead, nothing to unusual yet, but then the wind began howling, and the sound of marching could be heard in the distance. Everyone was silent in my home, the sounds came to our porch, to our door, and then, they burst inside. They were horrible things, with dark skin, and light hair, they took out swords and daggers, and my father and mother hurried me into my bedroom, where I hid in the closet. I could hear the chains being attached to my parents ankles and wrists, and then the door slammed shut, I thought I was okay, then I smelled smoke. I frantically opened the door of my bedroom to find a fire starting in my parent's room. I was easily able to get outside, and I watched as my house burned down." What is your Character's ambitions?: He wants to forget of all the terrible things he has faced throughout his life. He never wants to see the image of his house burning in his mind ever again. He just wants a peaceful life, no violence is needed. What is your character’s favorite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc): Hoe, it can be used for farming, to lean on, even to whack someone with when you're angry with them, har har. What is one of your Character's most skilled talents? Farming is his greatest talent, he grew up doing it, and has been doing it his entire life, he never plans on stopping. A screenshot of your skin (must be in proper format): Other Information about your Character: He wants to help his community prosper, and he doesn't want to witness anything that can remind him of... that day. Open-Response-Questions Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond? He would walk up to the harassers and say, "hey you two! why are you harassing this 'un here?" he would grab the halfling and push the others away, if they try to stop him, he would try his hardest to get away, but he is also only a halfling, and would have trouble escaping. Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response? "do you have any nice hoe's or farming material? I need to become a better farmer!" Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?: He would see the sword and leave it behind, how would a halfling use a sword anyway, but when he sees the iron bars, his dwarven ancestry jumps in, and he greedily grabs them. Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you in the common tongue, how do you respond? I would ask them what materials they carry, and try and get a friendly conversation going. You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?: He is a halfling, and barely knows how to hold a sword, he knows he would be of no use to these people, and would carry on with his day.
