Give a definition of what it means to you.: Roleplaying is abit like acting, you have to portray someone else's personality whilst ignoring my ownthoughts. This means that you act and speak like them at all times; even think like they would. It is RP if you avenge your friend after they were unlawfully murdered. It isn't RP if you randomly kill someone without any conversion beforehand. In your own Words, describe what Metagaming and Powergaming are. Metagaming is the use of out of character knowledge to advantage your in game character, this could be: using a strategy guide, using third person in MC or copying a mining style from the internet or it could be that you have been told the cords to a secret base and go thier first time with no one to lead you. Powergaming is a playing style that is action in which the person performing the action has complete control over the situation and the other person has no time to react or do anything in a fight it could also be used to grind for lot against mobs. What do you expect this server will be like?: A whole, manipulable world where everyone's in character at all times with a medieval theme were I am able to constantly interact with players and the environment. What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: I have my own mini server,Ihave also so played on a friend's but this would be my first big server. Biography(This should include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.): Gideon is a tall muscular man standing at 6,6 feet tall, he has black shoulder length hair brown eyes and a small beard. Gideon was born in the nation of Oren in the city of Al'Khazar, Gideon's family wasn't poor and wasn't rich they got by from purchasing something illegal and cheap then selling it again at a higher and the proper price and making the profit, Gideon lived with his father as his mother passed away from childbirth. Gideon grew up with one rule, do what you need to survive. At the age of eight, Gideon's father decided that he would start to teach his son the business ways and teach swordsmanship just encase he got court in a sticky situation. Gideon trained every day as his father instructed him so he could protected himself, this went on for many months. Finally, Gideon father decided he was ready to introduce him to some of his contacts. This one that Gideon tagged along with was a business in iron the contact was going to sell him his bosses iron that he stole for a low price, but it went horribly wrong. Gideon's father was set up and as the deal was about to be done the guards pounced on him an took him to jail. This greatly angered Gideon because he didn't understand what his father had done after all this is all he knew, so as far as Gideon was concerned this was right and legal. Gideon keep on training with the sword as his father requested him to. Gideon was only thirteen when his father was taken from him. Gideon now had to survive and fight for himself ,Gideon resorted to petty thievery to stop himself from staving and would occasionally venture outside the city gates in search for creatures to test his sword on however in doing so this left Gideon with many scars including one across his eye. At the age of 17 just before the undead attacked the land destroying all in thier path Gideon got a message saying his father had passed away in his jail this made Gideon very angry and made him hate the Guards who took him away from him and any guard in general, when the undead attacked Gideon fled to the safest place he could think of, the cloud temple when he got there he looked for shelter. Not many made it to safety and many were slaughtered the people that were able to escape did not take a liking to Gideon because of his scary appearance and his scars, but this didn't bother Gideon he was used to it by now. When Blundermore was giving his speech about discovering a new land, Gideon thought this could be a new start so he helped him build the boats to escape this forsake land. Finally, Gideon was 18 and the boats had been finished, so they set sail after many weeks they finally reached the land and Gideon instantly left the boats alone to discover this new land looking for vast riches. Your character's ambitions: To obtain vast riches and do anything to obtain it. Out in the Wilds, your character comes across a small cottage. Outside, there appears to be an elf struggling combat with two bandits. What does your character do? Gideon hides in the darkness of the forest closely watching how it places out. The first bandit demands that the elf hands over all he owns or die the second bandits say " you had better agree with our terms if ye want to live "the elf quickly replies with "I would rather die than give you scum any of my hard earned minas" *The bandits look at each other as they pull out there swords**The elf jumps back pulling out an arrow and bow firing it at the second bandit, but misses**The first bandit sprints towards the elf stabbing him in the right shoulder preventing him to shoot any more arrows**The elf falls to his knees*The elf "please spare me, take all I have just don't kill me ... please! "The second bandit "not a chance you tried to kill me and for that I will kill you" *The second bandit stabs his sword thought the elf's chest**The first bandit checks his body for any money **The first bandits takes a pouch of money before leaving into the darkness of the forest**Gideon quickly comes out of the shadows and searches the body for anything the bandits may have left**Gideon then searches the house**Gideon found fourpieces of melon and takes them with him** Gideon then carries on with his journey* Your character walks up to a shop in a quiet market. "Hello, my good sir!" says the shop owner. "What may I help you with today?" How does your character answer?
