Right you wish to know about me first I shall start with my physical appearance for those who are unable to be here. I have long, blond hair and blue eyes. My skin color is surprisingly pale and light for my wood elf inheritance. I commonly wear green mottled clothes, perfect for hunting, and small leather bindings which provide some, albeit not much, but some protection. Firstly my family, I am the son of Orophin & Arminas Sáralondë. My parents were not very wealthy and could barely keep food on our table, but we loved each other and I find that more important than wealth as a family is a very uncommon sight due to Iblees infertility curse on the Elven kin. I can remember many a night when we bed on empty stomachs; this may have something to do with the hobby I picked up at age ten. Never mind the unfortunate times I had in my childhood, it’s the positive that my parents raised me to see, my father was the one that kept us alive and (mostly) fed. My father was a hunter and, if I do say so myself, a good one too. He trained me to hunt ever since I was walking on my own two feet. He taught me about snares and how to fish, about what plants to eat and which not to. This all lead up to my first bow. Now enough about my father & on to my mother, she was a simple woman who valued the details in life as much, if not more, that the large picture. Our house was decorated with flowers and other greenery. I find my mother being an amazing cook also, what my father hunts, my mother cooks and it tastes as good as any official’s food. I love my family and they love me, that is all that matters. Not wealth, not comfort, love. Now to the part you readers must be aching for me to come to, my life. So where did I leave off? Oh yes, I was ten and was receiving my first bow from my father. It was a dark, depressing, rainy day and my father was just returning from his daily hunt, he was carrying his bow, but over his shoulder he was holding something else… I pestered him for the longest time about what it was, but he wouldn’t tell me eventually it grew late and I retired to bed. That night I lie in my bed and think to myself “What could it be?” Morning came and the skies cleared for a beautiful Malinorian day. I wake and prepare for another normal day, but while going through my daily process of cleaning and organizing my laundry and belongings I feel as if I am forgetting something, I decide it is unimportant and finish my task. I come out into the family room expecting to see my mother with her morning tea and my father long gone & out hunting. He is still home. He announces “Well I must leave now.” My hopes of speaking with him about going hunting and getting a bow vanish, but then, right as he is in the doorframe he says “Well son, aren’t you coming?” To this day I could swear that my heart skipped two beats but then it hits me “But father, I have no bow?” then, to my great amazement, he goes to get the parcel; he hands it to me and says “Open it.” I tear it open and find… You guessed it, a bow. My mother and father both shout “Happy Eleventh Birthday!” Then, finally, I remember what I once forgot. Today, May the Fifteenth, is my eleventh birthday. My father and I run outside so I can learn to use my bow, which at the time, was taller than me. For fourteen years I use that bow. I am twenty five now and to this day I still use that bow. I am one of the few that survived the escape of Asulon; I was a lucky one in the war. The only reason I survived is because of my own gut-feeling that something was going to go wrong, and by the grace of my prized horse, Blaze. Later, I, as an elf, decided to travel to the elven city of Malinor…. When I reached there I was astounded. I had heard about Malinor before, little facts & tidbits, but the real deal… its nigh impossible to fit it in words. The tree houses, the people, EVERYTHING looked so much… so much… so much like HOME, for the first time since my birth, I had a place where I felt I could belong. Here I find hundreds upon hundreds of my kinship here who accept me and treat me as one of their own. Here they gave me shelter and food until I could get a job & a home of my own. In return I informed them of my travels to the far reaches of Asulon. I told them of the dwarven cities in vast mountains, orcish civilizations based in the harsh desert. Then I told them of my most interesting adventure, the time I spent in the grand Human realm of Renatus. I spoke of their culture, of their formalities, of their architecture, but more importantly, of the people. I described to them the general human appearance… The average human has brown hair with pale, white skin and causual, informal clothing. I spoke of the different social classes describing all of the classes ranging from lowly peasants to extravagant nobles. The more I spoke the more they became interested, until I disappointed them by running out of stories, but they still treated me all the same. They enjoyd the story of my life and adventures. (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc): An enchanted bow and dual wield daggers, one being larger and heavier than the other using that for mainly defense and heavy blows, the other, much smaller dagger is used for throwing and quick, deadly blows. I also have a pair of Strikers, brass weights similar in size and shape to brass knuckles, which can be used for Hand-to-hand combat but can be just as dangerous when twisted together and used as a nonlethal thrown weapon. Together will these weapons and my skill in stealth I pose a large threat to any whom oppose me. What is one of your Character's most skilled talents?: Be concealed by the shadows and is an adept escapist. Other Information about your Character: Another one of the rangers tools are his faithful horse, which has incredible stamina, and his cape, which is made and colored just so that as he/she walks the wearer appears to fade in and out of sight. If positive I leave them to their task unless asked for help. If a negative response involving thievery/assault/murder, I hide in the shadows or other cover available and drop both guards then check if the Halfling is fine, if yes, I go back to my normal life; if no I go find help then go back to my normal life after making sure he/she is fine.<br style="mso-special-character:line-break"> <br style="mso-special-character:line-break"> Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. Through enchanting I was able to draw on my vast natural reserves of magic to complete complicated and difficult magical tasks, without the need for the spell or wand. After I was satisfied with my grip on the Arcane Arts I decided it was time to find a job and more importantly, a home. This is where the story ends as this is now the point in which I am currently living my life. What is your Character's ambitions?: Before everything else, to survive, then to help others and my home, Malinor. What is your character’s favorite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc): An enchanted bow and dual wield daggers, one being larger and heavier than the other using that for mainly defense and heavy blows, the other, much smaller dagger is used for throwing and quick, deadly blows. I also have a pair of Strikers, brass weights similar in size and shape to brass knuckles, which can be used for Hand-to-hand combat but can be just as dangerous when twisted together and used as a nonlethal thrown weapon. Together will these weapons and my skill in stealth I pose a large threat to any whom oppose me. What is one of your Character's most skilled talents?: Be concealed by the shadows and is an adept escapist. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond? Stay in the shadows and fire two arrows, dropping both guards, then walk off. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response? Nothing, thank you. Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?: Leave them alone for some other needier person to take them. Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond? Ask them for food, shelter & water then thank them, and be on my way You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support.
