I'm a 25 year old medical student, before this i spent 4 years in the Marines as an electrician. My friends and I play DnD at my house every Friday night.

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you.:
Roleplaying is becoming a character and portraying that character accurately in an imaginary setting. Making decisions based on what your character would want to do rather than what you feel like at that moment. Creating a story with your own hero or peasant and becoming a part of others stories.
In your own Words, describe what Metagaming and Powergaming are.
Metagaming: Using information that my character wouldn't know in character.
Example: Recognizing a close friend by their nameplate regardless of them being cloaked or talking about a story, as if I was there, that I read on the wiki but took no part in.
Powergaming: Using role-playing and emotes to force an unfair advantage in a role-playing encounter.
Example: *smoldyface cuts your purse and takes all your gold and stabs you to death with his dagger. (emoted the entire situation before I could contest his actions, or disallows me to do challenge him.)
What do you expect this server will be like?:
I expect a good community with lots of player interaction and quality roleplay as well as a rare opportunity to become part of the lore of Asulon.
What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?:
I had my own server for a while but took it down because I only had griefers join.
I am a member of breadcraft, while I'm still with them I am frustrated by long server population queues and role-backs that erase days of high quality work.

Biography(This should include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):
Viola is a 40 year old human standing at 2 meters with silver hair and slightly balding. His eyes are a deep azure. Having lived a hard life tilling through earth and breaking stone to make a living he was proud of what he had accomplished. The undead assault on Aegis, however, uprooted this poor farmer from a peaceful life working in the fields outside Al'khazar. As a fresh refugee Viola spent time as a tramp outside of Galahar trying to find a way to help the influx of displaced people. Eventually he joined a caravan heading towards the cloud temple, where everyone was to make their last stand against the unstoppable undead horde.
Once at the cloud temple Viola stood witness to the champions being rallied for the assault on Drauchriem. After a short time word came that Aegis was lost and the only hope for survival was to head to the Verge as it was the only way to escape certain death. Viola then followed the crowd to the Verge and made camp on the shore waiting for the storms to pass. There he helped craft the mighty ships that would carry the people away from the plunder and destruction. Now in Asulon, Viola begins to start a new life.
Your characters ambitions:
Viola hopes to own his own farm and sell his harvest. Possibly open up a road side bakery and share his love of bread with the world.
Out in the Wilds, your character comes across a small cottage. Outside, there appears to be an elf struggling combat with two bandits. What does your character do?
Viola exclaims, "HALT!" and arms himself with whatever weapon he can find. Then demands "End this struggle and explain yourselves!". Awaiting for a response from the bandits who seem to be reconsidering their assault on the elf as they are now equally numbered Viola inches closer and closer to the cottage. The bandits shout back "This is none of your concern old man, move along or fall victim to our blades!" While the bandits are focused Viola making his slow but steady approach the elf takes this opportunity to impair the vision of one of the bandits with what looks to be sand taken from his pocket. Blind and stumbling the bandit swings wildly. In his panic he cuts down his partner and Viola rushes in to make quick work of the remaining bandit. The elf says "I appreciate the help old man but I can handle it from here, feel free to take what you want off their bodies and continue on your way." Not wanting to stay around an elf who hardly flinched at the sight of the recent massacre Viola politely declines the offer to loot the corpses and finds his way back to the road to continue on his journey.
Your character walks up to a shop in a quiet market. "Hello, my good sir!" says the shop owner. "What may I help you with today?" How does your character answer?
Viola, "and a kind hello to you shoppekeeper!"
Viola, "I just had an aweful frieght on the road here, a tall slender creature was watching me from the woods. I believe I'd feel safer if I had a sharper blade with me, could you point me in the direction of a trusted smith?"
Shop Keeper, "Ah yes, just take this road towards the sunset until you see the oak tree with golden flowers around its roots. From there take a left. Soon you will see the smoke from his forge. Can't miss him"
Viola, "With your good directions I am off. Kind day to you shoppekeeper."

Also if I am denied for whatever reason please don't hesitate to give me details of where I went wrong and I will immediately make those changes and resubmit my amended application 24 hours after the previous denial.
