How much time could you be on the server weekly?: I could be on every day for a while, though I may not be on if I am out of the country or have an event that holds precedence over Minecraft. Give a definition of what it means to you: I think RolePlaying is when you can re-invent yourself to become whatever you want, then to act in the shoes of the chosen character and see the world through their eyes. What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?: To be honest, I do not have much experience, though I know how to keep a scene going. I have a fairly good imagination and can come up with replies very quickly. In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is: Meta-Gaming, is when you use information your character shouldn't have, like referring to another character with their OOC name, rather than their IC name. In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Gaming is: Power-Gaming is when you force a scene upon someone and not give them a chance to react, such as stabbing them through the heart before they can react and stop you. What do you expect this server will be like?: I think the server will be great fun and to have a new adventure nearly every-day. What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: Most servers i have played on either shut down or became boring, though I have been banned but not for good reason, I was banned the first time for complaining when an admin was using his power to kill me. Ban 2 came when I said "lol", the admin said I gave him cheek. Ban 3 came when I had Mo' Creatures mod, I could see the animals in multi-player, I said " Look at the cat " and he temp banned me for using a mod, I could not interact with the animals. In-Character: MKy IC name is Darough Roche. Character Name: Darough Roche. What Race are you?: Darough is an Elf. What Sub-Race are you? (note, you aren’t required to have a sub-race): Darough is a Wood Elf (I love using a bow). Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.): Darough was raised in the forests of Lorien by two loving parents. He loves reading and archery. He is of a kind nature and looks upon everyone as equals, no matter what race or sub-race. He loves to watch the sunset over the forest of Lorien and and was heart-broken to have to leave for Asulon. His father chose to stay behind and is now living somewhere in Aegis. His mother caught an illness aboard the ships to Asulon and passed away, despite the help of the healers. Darough was crushed by this even more than leaving the forests of Malinor. He was determined not to lose anyone else in his life and started to distance himself from his kin. He is of the average height of the Wood Elves and has deep brown hair and lapis lazuli eyes. He wears battered leathers and has a dark cloak on his back. He wears a black scarf to his nose so no-one can see his full face. Whenever you enter a tavern, he his the one siting in the gloomy cavern in the back. He makes a living by hunting with his bow and fishing, helping provide food when the harvest is bad. He is now 24 and every morning, save Sunday (Is there Sunday in Lord of the Craft? If no, disregard that part please) when he sleeps in and prepares for a large hunt on Monday (same with Monday, if no, please disregard and tell me in the comments). He mainly hunts pigs and cows, saving the chickens for special occasion. he has weekly deals with the shop-keepers and lives in Elandriel. He speaks quietly in a deep voice and never looks someone directly in the eye, unless he is standing up to them. What is your Character's ambitions?: Darough has a simple ambition, feeding the poor, but he has been longing to bring his father to Asulon, though he doesn't see how. What is your character’s favorite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc): Darough's favorite tool is the bow, he uses it to hunt and earn his keep. What is one of your Character's most skilled talents? Other Information about your Character: Darough hates being pushed around by someone who thinks they are better than him, he is fast to act, though he regrets a lot of what he does at these hot-headed periods. Open-Response-Questions Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond? Darough, taking his bow from his back, notches an arrow. " I give you now, a chance to run" he calls out. The armed warriors look around, searching for the source of the defiance, but they see nothing, Darough is hiding in the under-brush, using techniques he uses while hunting. The warriors are nervous, glancing around suspiciously. Darough lets a single arrow fly. It soars through the air, and with a crack and thud, the first warrior falls, the arrow stuck deep in his armor. The second warrior's nerves fail him and he runs shouting foul oaths at the unseen assailant. After he has passed over the hill, Darough climbs up and approaches the Halfling, who had been cowering on the ground the whole time. "Do not be afraid, my friend" Darough says in a clear, calm voice. He puts on his best smile. " I am not here to hurt you". The Halfling stands, " What be your name, fair Elf?" he says quietly. " I am Darough, what be your's?" replies Darough. " Dadering, sir" replies the Halfling. "Well Dadering, I suggest you get off these roads, no doubt that pathetic scum shall return with some extra men" says Darough. " Yes sir, I shall be going, I hope we meet again" says Dadering and wanders off into the forest. Darough smiles and wanders back on his hunting path. Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response? Darough turns to the man," Hello sir, may I inquire upon your wares?" He asks. "I would be offended if yah didn't" cries the man." I sell everything from armor and weapons to food and herbs" He continues. "|Food?", asks Darough," I am a hunter and we be happy to do business with you some day"." What are the chances of that!" the man cries," The man I buy my food off has just moved to Arethor!". The man is smiling now, a huge happy smile. Darough lets a smile, maybe a little smaller, pass his lips."We should meet here tomorrow, for a chance to discuss prices" says Darough."That would be a great, see you here 'bout two o'clock tomorrow" says the man. Darough says goodbye and continues on his way. Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?: Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond? "Hello", replies Darough," My bow broke a long way back through the forest and I am starving, as I cannot capture and kill any game without it, pray tell, would you trade some food and a bow for the few Minas I have?". The Trader looks you up and down, seeing you may actually have some Minas, by judging the quality of clothing, he replies " Of course my friend, follow me to my tent where you shall see my stock". Darough follows the man along the gap between tent until they hit a large purple patchwork tent. The man holds up the flap and gestures for him to enter. Darough is at once hit by the smell of salted pork. He breathes in the smell deeply, he can hear his stomach groan. "May I see your bows?" he asks politely. "Of course", cries the man and reaches deep into a bag. He comes out holding a beautiful rowan bow. Darough gasps, it is one on the finest bows he has ever see. "Alas, I could never afford this beautiful weapon" He says sadly. " I think not, my friend, for you may have it for a low price of twenty Minas. Darough gasps again,"You must be mad" he cries,"This magnificent thing must be worth thousands". "I am not mad, this bow was made by my very own wife, who is skilled in the art, she can make these in her sleep!", replies the Trader, "Come outside and try it on our targets". Darough follows the generous Trader out of the tent and over to where a few targets are mounted. He notches an arrow and lest it fly. It hits a perfect bull's eye. He shoots again and again, until the quiver the trader had provided was empty. "This is wonderful!" cries Darough, "It is a done deal!". The Trader smiles and agrees about the sale. They proceed to the purple patchwork tent again and the Trader hands Darough the food, bow and a quiver full of arrows. As Darough hands over the Minas, the Trader says " Remember, oil the string every day and to store it properly, you don't want to break it". Darough promises that he will and sets off from the camp with a big smile on his face, very different from his usual solemn demeanor. You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?: Darough walks up to the guard captain and says "I am ready to help you remove the bandits". The guard looks Darough up and down, deciding he is worth bringing and welcomes him aboard. they depart the town at nightfall and walk along the road. Darough reads his bow and notches an arrow. Suddenly, out of the gloom, a man runs up to the group swinging an ax. Darough releases an arrow and the man drops before the group. Darough had acted so quickly, everyone turns to look at him. At this point of confusion, the rest of the seven bandits attack, killing two guards before Darough and the others cut them down. The Captain turns to Darough," We could use someone of your skill, will you join the guard?". "I cannot, I am sad to say, my path in life is to provide food for the hungry and help all those I can" replies Darough. The captains face falls."I too am said to hear that. but if this is how you feel, you must do it". and with that, Darough says his goodbyes and departs the company of the guards.

How much time could you be on the server weekly?: I would be on every day, but I may not if something more important than Minecraft ( Very few things ) come up. What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you.: Roleplay is like a way to re-invent yourself, the days of knights and conquering kings have passed, roleplay is the gateway to that world, it lets you shed off your normal life and become a Magical Wizard, or a Elven Lord. That, is what Roleplay means to me. What do you expect this server will be like?: I expect the server will be fun, being able to "Accidentally" start a war between races (not that I will) how you can turn a tiny theft into a massive, village shattering drama. What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: most servers I played on either shut down or lagged, I met some nice people on them and played with my friends and build epic stuff, then it is gone... :(. Biography(This should include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.): Darough was abandoned at the age of three in a mineshaft, and was found by a Dwarven miner. His parents were exploring the world and were attacked by a band of UnDead. The Dwarven miner's name was Markus Bandil, he was a heavy drinker, so darough learned at an early age to fend for himslef. Darough is now 24 and has returned to his own race, which he finds so different from the Dwarves he grew up around. He his tall enough, has dark hair and deep blue eyes. He enjoys to read and run, has an interest in magic and tracking down any relations. Your characters ambitions: He wants to help the Elves stop wars and settle disputes of the weak and wandering. Out in the Wilds, your character comes across a small cottage. Outside, there appears to be an elf struggling combat with two bandits. What does your character do?: Darough rushes over and helps fight off the bandits, wishes the Elf good day and wanders off without being thanked. Your character walks up to a shop in a quiet market. "Hello, my good sir!" says the shop owner. "What may I help you with today?" How does your character answer? Darough inquires about what weaponry is being sold, also what armour and food.
