  1. Out-Of-Character Minecraft Account Name: Alegiance How old are you?: 15 Time-Zone/Country of Residence: California, USA (Pacific). Do you have a good grip on the English language/good grammar?: Yes, quite a good grip if I do say so myself :) Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: I'm generous and well mannered. I'm more of an observer than anything, but I still enjoy getting involved. I love to build cities in MC and then base a story around it. I think outside the box as much as I can. My Youtube channel is 'AlegianceMinecraft' if you want to see some of my 'work' (although I wouldn't consider it work because I enjoyed it). How much time could you be on the server weekly?: Anywhere from 0-5 hours a day. More on weekends. Really just depends. What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you: Roleplaying to me means creating a character that reflects who you are. It strengthens your good and bad qualities. But of course there is the more literal side, where its wandering around a world, completing quests and getting some respect! And never leaving character of course. What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?: Little to none, but It sounds interesting. Like writing your own book. So I'd figured if I wanted some RP, I'd come to the #1 server, right? In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is: Using out of character knowledge while in character. ie; character creating TNT without any engineering knowledge. In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Gaming is: Making someone do something without giving them an option. ie; "Prepare to die." *proceeds to kill other player without further question. What do you expect this server will be like?: I expect it to be a very large map with much to learn. My adventure will not go fast, I will slowly learn more about Aegis. I also expect battles to be much longer, with much more of a storyline behind it. ie; The enemy doesn't raid a city just because they want to, but because they have made a treaty with another city etc. What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: I play and have played on many servers. I usually play on Survival servers, where you build a town and get citizens. I'm just looking to try something new and do my best at it. Have you read, understood, and agreed to the rules?: You bet :) Do you promise to abide by said rules, and laws? This includes the Server, Forum, and Teamspeak set Rules: Of course, otherwise I wouldn't be typing this application ;) How did you hear about us?: A friend of mine. Have you voted for the Lord of the Craft on Minestatus? Which vote number were you?: No, sorry. I don't vote for servers until I've played them! In-Character: Character Name: Alegiance What Race are you?: Elf. What Sub-Race are you? (note, you aren’t required to have a sub-race): Wood Elf. Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.): (Before I start, I'm building this upon a story about a character I made a while back) My character (Alegiance) was born in a small village hidden away in the woods. His Dad was one of the many leaders of the village, just like his father before him. My character wants to break the monotony of his family and be who he is, an articulate, introverted but smart person. An excellent hunter, but still, natural leader like his father. He wants to be recognized for his good qualities and not his bad ones. Works well alone, and uses what little he may have to the best of his abilities. My character questions the creation of Aegies, wondering if what he's been told is true. Left the village at young age to explore Asulon. Citizens of the village usually staid there their whole life, so leaving to go exploring was rarely heard of. While leaving the village, he ventured beyond his usual hunting area and spotted a long, sleek pale green creature sneak behind a stranger and explode into a cloud of smoke. The remains of the sneak attack was gruesome, far beyond what he usually sees. This is when he realized leaving the village was not going to be a stroll in the park, but a trek into the great beyond, further than the woods hes known his whole life. But he quickly caught on, and has grown to a smart, quick young elf. Age 152, Blue, suspicious eyes, brown hair. Long legs and torso with medium length hair. Sharp chin. What is your Character's ambitions?: To be recognized for what he likes to do. To gain respect in the world and eventually start a small village where he and his close friends can reside. What is your character’s favorite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc): The bow and the axe. What is one of your Character's most skilled talents? Hunting and building. A screenshot of your skin (must be in proper format): http://imgur.com/a/5LCMw Other Information about your Character: Loves peaceful or hectic settings. Not in between. Open-Response-Questions Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond? Approach them and ask for the reason behind mugging the person. If they refuse to answer my question and threaten me, then I will find a nearby city to report what has happened. If they attack me, then I will try and flee. If I must defend myself, then so be it. Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response? I would respond saying, "What wares do you sell?" If he has nothing of use to me, then I would continue on my way. If he does have something of use, I would try and barter the price down. Don't want to pay more when I could pay less. Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?: Take the iron, but leave the sword for a less fortunate wanderer to stumble upon. Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond? Offer whatever I have on me for a portion of food and water, and a temporary place to rest. Then ask them where the nearest city is. After all, don't want to rely on complete strangers for too long. You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?: Before deciding what to do, I would ask where the bandits came from originally. Maybe this would reveal their weakness and why they are blockading the road in the first place? If I could figure this out, I would then try and rally citizens with the guards. Another option would be to contact the leader of the city so he could call for reinforcements from another nearby town/city. When the bandits are defeated, trade routes would be reopened for caravans to come in and out, along with travelers.
