When I woke up, it was gone, but I saw too peepol walking away in da distance. At ferst, I thot dat dey were da attackers. How does your character act on this information?:He would take the bandits down, hoping to make a new ally in the process and he couldn't see yet another town attack. He joins with a small militia dispatched to solve the bandit problem. Being a genetically built war machine (he was the chiefs son, and chieftainship is decided upon a duel between candidate and current chief.) he would fill the others with awe, and be a hero of sorts. Region/Timezone: I live in the United States of America, in Illinois. My time zone is the Central Time Zone Grammar Understanding: I am only in the 7th grade, but i believe that I speak quite well and understand punctuation and spelling pretty well. About me: I personally like to think I'm not average, as well as a bit off-the-wall, but in truth, not so much wacko-ness(I hope that's an acceptable word). I find the more friends I have, the more my grades slip, as well as my behavior. Knowledge of Role Playing: I am a fan of the Elder Scrolls, but I know that that's not entirely role playing. I feel its too lose in that concept. But to me, role playing is when you choose or are given a character with a certain personalities and traits. Role playing would be to take that character, and almost BE that character. Think like him, and make disicions based on that mind set. If you are REALLY into the character, you might even betray your friends if it fits your character's personality. Knowledge of Meta-Gaming: I had no idea what this was before I googled it, but now I know that I do it A TON. Well, kind of. I haven't done it much with games(although I'm sure I've done it somewhere), but I did a lot of Meta-NonGaming with the Lord Of The Rings series(Of which I'm a TREMENDOUS fan of). Especially with the elven and dwarven languages. I was curious to see if it was all developed, and surprised to see it was. If what your asking is if I was willing to do it for Lord of the Craft, than the answer is without a doubt, if I'm curious, than I most definitely will. P.S. After reading the rules, I saw that meta-gaming is not allowed, so I will not do it. What is Power-Gaming? Power gaming is when you use an unfair or powerful advantage over someone who has no chance against it. I personally think some types of power-gaming is acceptable - Frowned upon - but acceptable in ways such as an in character bandit raid on a farm. But other things like hacking or even doing it out of character is not acceptable at all. Other Servers: I have played on Centurycraft (now Evercraft) but left it because i got griefed too hard and because they reset the map too much. I also played on Safe Haven and I still do, but I tend to only have one active server at a time, and this server blows Safe Haven right out of the sky. Have I read the Rules: I have read the rules, and saw that metagaming is banned, and I can understand that. I guess I was on the positive outlook of metagaming, doing it for pure curiosity and self enjoyment. (NOT FINISHED WITH APPLICATION)
