Minecraft Account Name: Miklepikle21 How old are you?: 15 Time-Zone/Country of Residence: U.S. Central Time (Texas) Do you have a good grip on the English language/good grammar?: I have been speaking English my whole life, so I hope so! Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: I am a teenager who loves to play PC games and to roleplay as much as possible in my free time. I am not one to burst out in a sudden rage or to use profanity. How much time could you be on the server weekly?: 3-4 hours during the week, and 6-10 on the weekends. What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you: Role playing is to step into someone else's shoes and act out their life. It opens up many possibilities to yourself and to others, as well as participating in actions that may not be possible in reality. It involves staying in character (how they speak, and how they would handle situations)as well as not cheating and/or using exploits that your character wouldn't be able to do. I have been role playing for many years now and think I have a good handle on it enough to make it a pleasurable experience for myself and others. What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?: I have been playing WoW, all of The Elder Scrolls games, Kingdoms of Alamur: Reckoning, as well as other Minecraft RP servers. In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is: Meta-Gaming is the act of using outside knowledge to affect the way your character plays the game. Example: From the spawn, your character might not know where to go to get to his/her kingdom or city, but you the player might know the coordinates to said city. Instead of asking where to go, you just use the coordinates to reach your destination, which completely kills the meaning of RP. In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Gaming is: Power-Gaming is the act of giving your character an unfair advantage over other characters. Example: Your character has no flaws, and therefore is unbeatable on the battlefield. Every person, RP or not, has flaws or weaknesses that can be exploited in order to have a even battle. What do you expect this server will be like?: One of the best RP servers I have ever been on as well as one of the most immersive. What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: I have played on various other servers such as GLdesert, Chaos-Craft, and Realm-Craft, but none of these servers ever gave you a chance to start out on your own. Other's that have been playing longer than you have get an unfair advantage over you. They also have plenty of greifers and no lore or back story. Have you read, understood, and agreed to the rules?: I have. Do you promise to abide by said rules, and laws? This includes the Server, Forum, and Teamspeak set Rules: I will obey the rules 100%. How did you hear about us?: One of my friends saw the trailer on youtube and told me about it over Skype one day. I instantly wanted to apply, but never got around to it until now. Have you voted for the Lord of the Craft on Minestatus? Which vote number were you?: I have and I was number 2,550! In-Character: Character Name: Faeron Dwinrretyn (which translates to "walkers of the heavens") What Race are you?: Elvish What Sub-Race are you? (note, you aren’t required to have a sub-race): N/A Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.): Faeron Dwinrretyn was born on a humid summers afternoon, along with his twin sister, Nadari, a rare sight for the Elvish community. Elvish people came from all around the land wanting to see this "natures miracle" for themselves. Faeron and Nadari were showered in gifts of fine crafted gold and silver, as well as gems of priceless value. But not all would agree that this occurrence is a blessing. One cloudy and overhung night, while Faeron and Nadari were asleep in their cribs, a thief, human, scaled the trunk of the tree and entered through the children's window, unheard and unseen. The bandit then began to help himself to all of these riches and gifts, but one sapphire, dropped on the floor, was enough to startle the children's Mother. She went to inspect the area where the noise came from, and when she turned the corner, she was face to face with a masked thief, dagger unsheathed. He plunged the knife into the Mothers gut, mortally wounding her. This commotion awoke the Father, who ran into the children's room to find his beloved wife, face down in a pool of blood. Faeron was crying in his crib, but why hasn't he woken Nadari? The Father inspected the baby's cribs to find Nadari gone, and the window wide open. Nothing can be done now. He sat down and cradled his wife's head in his hands, and sobbed. Father had decided that the hometown wasn't safe anymore, so the family of now 2, fled into hiding. No outside contact, and or no mail going in and out. Faeron now 13, and his Dad, 42, settled deep in the Great Woods, living in the trunk of a tree. Faeron's Dad taught him everything he ever needed to know about surviving, cooking, hunting, woodworking, and fighting. He had never mentioned once his sister or his mother, fearing that he would not be able to bear these harsh words. One afternoon, His Dad told Faeron to go out and hunt for dinner. Faeron never knew that as soon as he stepped outside of that trunk, He would never see his Dad alive again. Atop his favorite tree in the hunting grounds, bow and arrow in hand, Faeron scanned the land for any game to take home. That's when he saw the horrible, black shape soaring overhead, emerging out of the clouds. Faeron sank to the bottom of his perch and laid in wait for the terrifying shadow to pass, not knowing that it was going to wreak havoc on the whole forest. Sprinting home, Faeron reached his house, and stood there in complete shock. The whole tree was uprooted and mangled, laying across the forest ground on its side. he twisted the sideways knob and pulled himself inside, fearing the worst. And there he found his Dad, laying on his side with a crumpled piece of parchment in his fist. Faeron broke down and sobbed over his Dads body. He then gently pried open his Dads cold hand, and unraveled the note and read: "My boy, the time has come that you must know what really happened to the rest of our family. When you were just a baby, your mother was murdered by a masked assailant, and your twin sister, Nadari, was kidnapped. In attempt to save you, we went into hiding and fled from our home I have no information of your sisters whereabouts, or if she is even still alive, but I had to share this with you. I am leaving to go search for her, and leaving you here to look after the house. It might as well be better if you stay because if we find her dead, i'm not sure if you will be able to handle it. I have taught you enough about survival, you should be fine on your own for a while. Ill write back with my findings. Love, Dad." The next day, Faeron buried his Dads body behind the bordering flower patch. He swore to avenge his father from those abominations, and to start the quest to find his long lost sister Aegis was no longer a safe place. Undead roamed the lands freely, wreaking destruction over cities and families alike. Dragons blacked out the sun, burning and crushing Aegis piece by piece. Faeron knew that staying in Aegis was no longer an option. Dodging Undead patrols and staying out of sight of overhead dragons was getting too difficult and dangerous. They seem like they are growing in numbers. He had heard about boats leaving The Verge for a new, mysterious land. Faeron wanted out and this looked like his only opportunity. He took the long, perilous journey to The Verge, and arrived in the middle of the night. There he stayed in a tent, sleeping on a bedroll and living off of bread and water for weeks, until the boats were finished. Faeron was one of the last ones to board the over-crowded ship. He turned around and looked at the horizon, watching the flames reach up and touch the sky. That is the last glance he will see of Aegis. Months later, all of the boats, carrying many settlers, landed on the land of Asulon. Faeron has a chance to start a new life, living without fear, and start the search for his sister. Current day, Faeron is a 22 year old young man, who is quick, agile, and smart. What he lacks in strength, he makes up for in accuracy with a bow. His right knee, which was damaged while in a confrontation with a group of marauders, disables him to take a proper fighting stance with a sword, even though he carries one still. Sometimes his emotions get the best of him, and other times, he is able to push those feelings out. Nevertheless Faeron is smart in battle tactics, but would much rather be positioned in the back, firing volley's of arrows at his on comers. What is your Character's ambitions?: To find his Sister, as well as to find out who murdered his Mother. What is your character’s favorite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc): Bow and arrow, as well as a short sword he keeps, but hindered to use effectively due to his knee. What is one of your Character's most skilled talents? Cooking, Archery, and Woodworking A screenshot of your skin (must be in proper format): Attached is a screenshot, Front and back. Other Information about your Character: He enjoys the outdoors and can hardly stand to go underground. Loves brandy and Women. Open-Response-Questions Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond? Faeron approaches the warriors cautiously, not knowing if one will attack the halfling or himself. Because its too close of range to use his bow, he keeps his hand firmly planted on the hilt of his sword. He does not want an argument, nor bloodshed, so he makes himself look as harmless as possible. One of the warriors eyes Faeron and draws his sword. "Settle down now," insists Faeron, slowly moving closer. "I don't want any violence, just let the little man go." "Not until he pays a little coin!" growls the warrior with his weapon drawn. "Ill cut you a deal, you best me in a fair sword fight, and ill pay all the minas that you want." "If you lose, you let me and the little one walk." The warrior nods his head comprehensively and steps forward. "Deal!" the warrior shouts. Blades fly in a whirlwind of gleaming metal and hot sparks, looking like a blur of death. "Hes better than I thought!" mumbled Faeron to himself. "Ill have to try something sneakier". Faeron steps back, and with all of the will he can muster, summons tree vines, thick as rope, to ensnare the warrior, then hoist him up into the tree. The other warrior, seeing what had happened to his comrade, bolted in the opposite direction. Faeron let this man go, and ushered the halfling out of the area and harms way. Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response? "Greetings!" I am actually new to this region. Do you mind telling me where the closest hunting supply store is?" The Merchant ponders a little, then replies: "matter o' fact, the gentleman is right up the road on ye' left!" "Thank you" Faeron says, then throws a coin to the merchant, who quickly stashes it in his bag. Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?: "What would be more helpful would be maybe a new bow, or some arrows! Maybe a little food. Nevertheless, I have no use for this master-crafted weapon since I carry my own. I don't think the past inhabitants of this hut will mind me staying the night, judging by the churning storm clouds in the east, I don't want to spent the night in a tree. Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond? "Hello! May you show some hospitality towards a hungry and confused traveler like yourselves? I will pay if I must. After all, I don't want these gentlemen to be wasting their rations on an Elvish man." You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?: Faeron steps forward, raising his hand. "I volunteer!" He shouts. "Good!" replies the guard that looks like hes in charge. "What qualifies you for such a task?" Faeron then answers: "I am highly skilled with ranged weaponry and know a little about battle tactics." "I guess your in" the guard says. Faeron then leaves the town with the guards, and travels the road outside until they see brown tents pitched off to the side of the path. The guards mount a full frontal attack on the bandit camp, catching them by surprise. Faeron then takes position upon a rocky ridge, overlooking the camp, and fires volley after volley of arrows down upon the bandits. After the long-fought battle, Faeron and the remaining guards return to the town, and greeted by cheers of dozens of peasants. He then accepts his reward and promptly leaves the town, traveling along the now purified road.

Minecraft Account Name: miklepikle21 How old are you?: 15 Time-Zone/Country of Residence: US Central Do you have a good grip on the English language/good grammar?: I have lived in Texas all of my life and have a very high grade in highschool English. Besides, shorthand typing makes you sound uneducated and immature! Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: I am a fun loving teenager who enjoys life just the way it is. I am generally passive with little to no outburst's of anger. I love meeting new people online who share the same outlooks and goals as I do. How much time could you be on the server weekly?: 4 to 5 days a week. What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you: Roleplaying is a way to relax and pretend to be someone or do something that you are not capable of in reality. You generally create strong bonds with characters within a game as well as your own. Making decisions within roleplay make you think if this choice will go against your moral values in real life, as well as how it will affect others around you. What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?: I have been playing RPG's for as long as I have had any type of console. I actually started when I was 6 on the PlayStation 1! I have grown up with RPG's throughout my life and have stuck to a couple: World of Warcraft, TES4 Oblivion, Maplestory, as well as the newly released Kingdoms Of Alamur: Reckoning (which is a totally great game by the way!) In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is: Meta-Gaming is when your character utilizes or is aware of information that he/she should not be. He/She CANNOT see in game coordinates and/or when a group of Orcs are going to ambush said character around the nearest hill until the character walks around. In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Gaming is: Power-Gaming is the unfair use of Roleplaying such as not giving another player a chance to respond and/or react to what the Power-Gaming character is proposing. Exploiting the games glitches or server bug's can also be called Power-Gaming. What do you expect this server will be like?: A great experience and opportunity to meet new players from around the world as well as an immersive RPG environment to get lost in and just play the hours away with my friends. What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: I have played on many servers such as Realm-Craft and GLdesert, but the reason I jumped ship is because of the unfair and abusive players/admins who constantly take advantage of new players and never give them a chance to thrive on their own. Have you read, understood, and agreed to the rules?: Absolutely. Do you promise to abide by said rules, and laws? This includes the Server, Forum, and Teamspeak set Rules: 100% law abiding. How did you hear about us?: One of my friends (who is a youtube junkie) came to me one day screaming "LOOK AT THIS SERVER I FOUND ON YOUTUBE! WATCH THIS AMAZING TRAILER AND LOOK AT THE BUILDS!" It was love at first sight! I knew right then and there I wanted to be an Elf or a Dwarf! Have you voted for the Lord of the Craft on Minestatus? Which vote number were you?: I have and I was number 2,550! In-Character: Character Name: Faeron Dwinrretyn (which means "walkers of the heavens") What Race are you?: Elven What Sub-Race are you? (note, you aren’t required to have a sub-race): Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.): Faeron Dwinrretyn grew up with no family, no place to call home, and no memory of his recent past. The only thing that Faeron knew about was his last name, which translates to "walkers of the heavens". He had pondered upon that subject throughout his life, just trying to get by off of scraps thrown out by nobility, and sleeping in abandoned shacks and caves. Until IT happened. Faeron was approached in his sleep by a misty white figure that carried itself with utmost grace and honor. He was told to seek out the last remaining Elven colonies to the west, and soon everything about his past will soon unravel to him. This perilous journey to the forsaken Elven lands of his ancestors will prove a great obstacle on his path to understanding and accepting the real roots of his ancient family. Faeron is a hardworking and determined young elvish man, who takes every task, daunting or not, as serious as the last. He knows nothing of relaxation or rest, just perseverance. He may be tightly wound sometimes, but put a pint of the finest elvish brandy in his hand and I'm sure he'll be singing the next verse of "Vol'sh Darn-eh" up on stage of the local pub. What is your Character's ambitions?: To discover the roots of his family, and to have the most fulfilling and prosperous life possible. What is your character’s favorite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc): Bow and arrow as well as a short sword that he keeps strapped to his back. (though hardly used due to his deadly accuracy with the bow) What is one of your Character's most skilled talents? Woodworking and surprisingly enough, baking. A screenshot of your skin (must be in proper format): Skin Layout is attached. Other Information about your Character: Very dashing and good with women. Likes to be outdoors most of his time. Open-Response-Questions Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond? He assess the current situation as carefully as possible. Faeron might be able to take on one warrior at a time, but two will be extremely overwhelming. Faeron scans the area for any tactical advantages over the ruffians, and decides that the tree overhanging the path will be his best vantage point. He scales quietly and as close to the trunk of the aging tree as possible, all the time keeping an eye out to see if any changes in his environment will affect his plan. He draws his bow, and with one clean shot, impales one warriors plate helmet and skull, rendering him lifeless. He then drops down gracefully, sword unsheathed and gleaming in the midday sun, and dispatches the other warrior in one clean slash. Faeron walks to the halfling and asks him if he needs help getting home or if he is lost, then cleans up and continues on his journey. Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response? "I was actually shopping for a new quiver, a specific one with silver trim and gold furniture, just like the one you have there! May I take a look at this masterpiece?" The merchant then replies: "That quiver was hand crafted by one of the oldest Elven clans in all of the lands! Imagine how long it took them to find leather hide such as this!" Faeron inspects the quiver, then promptly hands over the money and a little excess, just for the merchant. Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?: Faeron inspects the sword, eyeing the hilt, blade, and sheath. He glances around the hut, looking for any signs of occupation. He then runs his hand over the lid of the wooden chest, noticing how clean and crisp the wood is. Something is not right. Faeron Places the sword back in the grasps of the chest, then nonchalantly strides out of the hut. Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond? "I do not know the language of your people, but all I ask of you is a nights stay at your settlement and maybe some food and a warm bed. I hope I am not intruding, but I'm sure fine traders like yourselves know how dangerous the wilderness can be at night. You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?: Faeron waits patiently atop the roof of the inn, watching the guards shifts, when the leader enters and leaves his tent, and where all of the stolen goods go. Before daybreak the next day, Faeron slips down from his splintery perch and glides silently through the camp, straight for the leaders tent. He folds back the flap and steps inside, unraveling the flap behind him. He extracts a bottle of Death-root poison from his bag, and tips his short sword in the deadly liquid. Without a sound, Faeron knicks the leaders neck, right next to his jugular. Within minutes, the leader was crumpled up on his bedroll, still as death itself. Faeron digs through the stolen items, only taking the most valuable ones, and piles them in his sack. He then slips out of the tent, and moves like a shadow through the camp, leaving no survivors. In the morning, Faeron shows up in the tavern with a bag stuffed to the brim with gold and silver items. He thoroughly distributes these relics amongst the town people, and collects his reward from the leader of the guard party.
