  1. Out-Of-Character Minecraft Account Name :R4WB0N3 How old are you?: 14 years old Time-Zone/Country of Residence: England Do you have a good grip on the English language/good grammar?: Yes, I can speak fluent English Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: I am a 14 year old student who has only recently bought Minecraft. I am trustworthy and polite and will not violate the rules of the server. I was starting to get bored of survival and my friend recommended the server because he said it was good. How much time could you be on the server weekly?: 5-10 maybe 15 hours What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you: Creating your own character and giving it its own dialect and act out what it would do in real life. For instance, If the dwarf was in conversation with another character, he would say “How are ye on this fine mornin’” The character must act on the basis of its past and age etc. What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?: I have previously played on games like World of Warcraft, which has a similar style roleplaying. I am also currently taking part in GCSE drama where we are assessed on our roleplaying skills. In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is: If my character was asked to complete a quest in a location I had never visited before, it wouldn’t be logical if the person who asked me to do the quest were to simply send me the co-ordinates, I would have to be taken there by their character. In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Gaming is: If my character got into a brawl with another player, it would not be realistic if I got all the “hits” in as it were and I did not allow the other player to react. It would be more realistic if your character didn’t win every time and let the other character beat me. For instance, a bad example would be: “R4WB0N3 violently attacked the character repeatedly, and he was close to killing him. There was nothing the character could do but lay there and get beat to his death.” A better example would be: “R4WB0N3 tried to take grasp of the characters neck, but his arm was jolted aside by the characters arm. As R4WB0N3 lunged with his diamond sword, the character impressively dodged the attack and restrained R4WB0N3 on the floor.” What do you expect this server will be like?: I think the server will be set in olden times, when there were enormous castles and mythological creatures roamed the Earth. What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: I used to play on a simple survival server, which had no forums and no rules. I left because the administrators were reluctant to banning the grievers and the spammers. Have you read, understood, and agreed to the rules?: Yes I always read the rules to a server before entering it so I don’t accidently violate the rules and get banned. Do you promise to abide by said rules, and laws? This includes the Server, Forum, and Teamspeak set Rules: Yes, I am reliable and trustworthy. How did you hear about us?: My friend recommended the server to me as he said it was a brilliant server. Have you voted for the Lord of the Craft on Minestatus? Which vote number were you?: I have voted for your server on minestatus.com and my vote number was 2965 In-Character: Character Name: Rlavd Slatebreaker What Race are you?: British - White What Sub-Race are you? (note, you aren’t required to have a sub-race): Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.): Rsar Slatebreaker is a Halfling, and was born on the nightfall of 1787 in the dwarfen town of Stolkehome. His human father Rlavd Slatebreaker was the most popular blacksmith in town and earned a modest wage which made his dwarfen wife Gwyneth Slatebreaker very happy. Axe’s mother only visited on a Saturday as she worked in the palace, constantly cleaning the prince’s armour, clothes and furniture. However one day, a terrible plague infested the town within hours due to the overcrowded streets and poor hygiene. The mother pleaded mercifully for her family to be kept in the palace, but unfortunately, Rlavd Slatebreaker was taken by the plague and was never seen again by his family. Rsar, aged just 12 at the time was taken in by the Prince, and the palace was closed off from the outside world for 11 years surviving on years worth of stored grain and water. When Rsar turned 23, the plague had passed, and he decided to journey out across the valley in search of a community willing to take him in. After months of exploration, Rsar could see immense structures in the distance. He was politely greeted to Asulon, a kingdom far to great for words to describe. He settled and bought a nice house. He aspired to become the once great blacksmith his father was and converted his house into a blacksmith. Today, although he isn’t the “best” blacksmith as it were, he is certainly a well known character in the community and he believes that he will not rest until his goal is complete. What is your Character's ambitions?: To supply the server with resources and become the once great blacksmith his father was. What is your character’s favorite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc): A stone pick axe, much easier to craft and handle. What is one of your Character's most skilled talents? Despite his size, he has superior strength and stamina, making him a valued commodity for any community. A screenshot of your skin (must be in proper format): http://www.planetminecraft.com/skin/dwarf-red-beard-734/ Other Information about your Character: Open-Response-Questions Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond? I would confront the two thieves and help the fellow Halfling. I would restrain them and send for help from others. Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response? Afternoon, I was wondering if ye could help me. Im looking for a clean cut of beef for me to eat. Can ye help? Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?: Even if the hut looked abandoned, no one would leave such valuable items behind, he would drop the items back in the chest and continue exploration. Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond? respond in the common tongue my accent may imply I am wealthy and a good target for theft, I would never give personal details and eventually, after regaining health and hunger, disperse from the group, before they get suspicious and rob me. You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?: Gather all civilians and send them to the centre of town, asking them to bring 2 personal belongings/treasures each to reduce the risk of theft and deaths. Any who are willing to join (like the home guard in WWII) would be supplied with weapons and heavy armour. I would then try negotiating with the bandits, if that fails, I will wait for the call to attack the bandits. We would imprison the bandits, not kill them in battle and give individual sentences which will decide their fate.
