What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you: Roleplaying is a delicate thing, it requires the minds of individuals to be open to any possibility. Thus immersing roleplayers into a world of possibilities. Everyone has done a bit of roleplaying before, whether it be playing save the princess in their childhood, or reenacting famous battles or wars. What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?:I have been on many roleplay servers and have become an administrator on a few, however those days are gone and i wish to join a fun, imaginative, community based server. I came across this one. In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is:To me Meta-Gaming is using your out-of-game intelligence and resources to affect the outcome of your in-game decisions. In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Gaming is:To me Power-Gaming is the progression of your character to maximize progress toward a set goal. An example would be, my character working to get that new level in mcmmo or so forth. What do you expect this server will be like?:I expect this server to be community friendly, fun, family friendly, and imaginative. What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: I have played on Legendary Island of the Lost Treasure before, i only played for about a week when I came to the conclusion that it was administrator centered and the community had no say. That is why I left. Have you read, understood, and agreed to the rules?:Yes Do you promise to abide by said rules, and laws? How did you hear about us?:I was on a roleplay forum one afternoon when Minecraft was brought up, another user and I talked about it for a while and he recommended a good roleplay server, Lord of the Craft. Have you voted for the Lord of the Craft on Minestatus? Which vote number were you?:Yes i have voted and my vote number is 3,096. In-Character: Character Name:Erak Stormstriker What Race are you?:Dwarf What Sub-Race are you? (note, you aren’t required to have a sub-race):Mountain Dwarf Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.): Erak comes from a family of long lived, hardened clan of dwarfs who call themselves the Stormstrikers. Erak is next in line for the seat of the clan leader. His father, Sarnak Stormstriker, is deathly ill. He has been tainted by a horrible curse, and has died. Now, Erak is a strong,hardy lad, he gets the job done right but always cares for the ones he loves. He is in his late twenties and has a rather rough beard that gracefully falls to his belt, he doesn't mind however, for it is only natural for Stormstrikers to have such long beards. His skin tone is rather dark for a dwarf and his nickname is Obsidian to most of his loved ones. So Erak being newly appointed clan leader, must find his father's killer and bring peace to the Stormstrikers, for it is foretold by the sayseer of the clan. His destiny...Is written in stone... What is your Character's ambitions?:My character longs to fulfill his destiny and lead his people to proper victory in the years to come. What is your character’s favorite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc):My characters favorite tool is the pickaxe, it gets the job done right every time. He feels it is similar to him. What is one of your Character's most skilled talents? One of my characters most skilled talents is scouting. However it is unusual for a dwarf to have such a talent, Erak can feel the land as he traverses it, he has a gift that only two others have had before him. Both turned out to be legendary. Open-Response-Questions Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond? Erak steps in between the two armed warriors and the halfling and tries to solve the situation peacefully, however if force is used against Erak he WILL strike back. Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response?Erak greets the merchant politely in his dwarven greeting, astonishingly the merchant responds with the greeting. Erak looks pleased, what a fine day in the market. Erak then proceeds to buy a new pickaxe and a fishing pole. Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?: Erak would not take the items, he would ask anyone if they belong to them since they are pretty valuable items, if no one claims them, he leaves them there, maybe they aren't online at the moment. Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond? I respond with the dwarven greeting and they reply graciously seeing my need for food. Erak then asks to buy a steak which he eats gratefully. Before he leaves however he leaves the trading camp a few diamonds he found whilst mining. The traders are pleased so he moves on. You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?: My character jumps at the opportunity, finally some action! However he asks no reward for the support, he does it for the love of his town.
