(http://www.minecraft...-p-s-e-r-v-e-r/): Yes -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- In-Character Character Name: Renegard Castein (Goes by "Cat" as a nickname) What Race are you?: Elf What Sub-Race are you? (note, you aren’t required to have a sub-race): N/A Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.): I was born with blue eyes and brown hair in the city of Malinor. My father went missing short after birth. My mother who's name was Irisha Castein raised me because of this. 10 years later I decided to go fishing one day. My mother taught me how to fish a year before and I was completely addicted to it. I went outside and was nearly down the road when Irisha called out, "You forgot your fishing rod!" I ran back and thanked her for reminding me to bring it. I walked back down the road telling myself that I must be an idiot for that was the 10th time this week that I forgot to bring it. As I was walking through the forest to my favorite fishing spot a sudden wind picked up and blew off my red bandanna. I quickly ran after it and then caught it. I wasn't letting my favorite bandanna get away from me that easily. I then continued toward the river. When I got to the river I took out my fishing rod and was just about to cast when I suddenly realized, hay you need bait with that! I checked my pockets and found that I forgot to bring some bait. I knew that walking back just for that would be a waste of time so I went and scavenged for some. After I found enough grubs to fish for a bit I went back and started fishing. I usually catch and release unless I catch a good one, which I mostly caught good ones that day. An odd thing happened though, every time I put a fish down and looked away when I looked back it was gone. I was puzzled and, after the fifth time this happened, I decided to trap it. The next fish I caught I put a bell inside so I would hear it if it were to move anywhere. I then looked away and was right about to cast when *Ding* *Ding* *Ding* I noticed the bells going off. I quickly looked over at the fish and noticed the bell had startled a cat. I made a move towards it when my fishing rod suddenly jerked in my hand. I instantly set my attention to the fish that was fighting for my bait. I reeled it in 15 minutes later after a very hard fight. I looked back at the spot where the cat had been and it sat there staring at me longingly. I gave in and gave the cat the fish. I then checked my pocket for some more grubs but realized I ran out. I decided that I should go home for now since it was getting rather late. I then walked home leaving the cat behind to eat what I had given it. When I got home I went straight to bed. I woke up in the middle of the night to an odd sound I heard. I tried to get up and suddenly noticed something was laying on me. I looked down and noticed that the cat that I saw at the river was now lying on me. I then decided to go back to sleep. I woke up the next morning and the cat was just sitting there staring at me. I then got up and put on some clothes. Then went on with the morning as usual. That cat would not stop following me though. Irisha didn't seem to care too much about the cat and even let me feed it. Nearing the end of that day I decided I should name the cat Thelma. I had no particular reason for this name. 4 Years Later me and Thelma became the best of friends. Thelma would follow me everywhere I went and I even made a matching bandanna for her. It was full red with a white circle just like mine. Thelma even attempted to help me fish! Although most of her attempts ended in failure a few times she did manage to catch some fish. 2 Years Later, on my returned trip from the river after noticing I forgot my fishing rod, I noticed a lot of people running away from the city of Malinor. Being as curious as a cat I decided to investigate what was happening. I didn't walk far when I realized that the city was burning. Instead of further investigating I turned tail and ran with Thelma close behind me. I ran past Irisha who must have made it out but I then looked away and back and she was gone. That was the last time I ever saw Irisha. I found someone's bow on the ground with a quiver filled with arrows. I picked it up and put it on while putting the bow on my back in a style similar to how the quiver was on me. I only did this for protection since I wasn't exactly the most experienced with the bow. I never thought I would need it, but I took a few lessons just in case. These lessons I soon ditched for my hobby of fishing. I ran aimlessly through the forest and stopped, I then suddenly hid. I noticed some undead that were just beyond the tree line. I knew that running back in the direction of the city would be a bad idea and seeing no other way through I would need to take them out. I quickly pulled out my bow and arrow and then took aim. This time I fired and it hit one of the undead square in the face. The rest of the undead quickly noticed where I was and were upon me before I was able to shoot another arrow. I quickly jumped into the nearest tree then jumped over to another. I then jumped to another tree and proceeded to climb down. I hoped they didn't see me make the transfer. I looked over and noticed that the one I killed had a sword on it. I stealthily went over and took the swords sheath off of the undead that I killed. I then tried to slowly pick up the sword and then accidentally dropped it. It made a sound that was impossible not to notice and the undead sure did seem to. I picked up and sheathed the sword as fast as I could and ran. I reached towards my back for my bow and realized that I forgot it on the ground in my rush for the sword. I knew that I was dead if I were to try to fight them with a sword. I had literally no experience in swordplay. I saw a tree and quickly climbed up it. Using the sword I desperately carved a bit of the the tree off and sharpened it. Then I threw it at the undead, which did nothing. As a final attempt I threw one of the arrows at them. I hit one in the eye and it fell over. I don't think I killed it but it knocked over the other ones on the way down. I quickly climbed down and then, taking advantage of this situation, stabbed the nearest one with a bow then sheathed the sword. I picked up the bow and ran. I continued to run and only stopped to check if Thelma was still following me. She was and seemed quite as frantic as me. I ran and ran without stopping. I eventually came upon the ocean and noticed a fleet of ships with some people of many different races at the docks. I ran up and noticed that the ships were heading for a new land called Asulon. I was asked how I knew of these ships being here and told them that I didn't, I just happened to find it. Since there was an orc behind me that seemed to not supposed to be there as well I was let by. When the orc got on the boat I quickly asked him for his name. He told me his name was Bareg Bouldersmash. When he asked me mine I decided to joke around and told him to call me cat, which the name spread amazingly fast. I noticed that he seemed to have gone through a lot and he confirmed my suspicions. The conversation ended quickly due to me not being too combat experienced, since he seemed more interested in that, although he didn't seem like he thought he would be able to learn that during the voyage. When I got off the ship it was great. I've spent my whole life in Malinor barely seeing anything new and now it was all new to me. I had gotten over the pain of losing my old life rather quickly while on the boat. Thelma seemed to like the idea as well but one of the people on the boat startled her and she ran off. I ran on after her and tried my best to find her but I never saw her anywhere. I ran into some thick grass and reached to get my sword to chop the grass and realized I left all my equipment on the boat. 1 year later I was in a forest still searching for Thelma I nearly lost all hope of ever finding her at this point. I had just set up camp and was about to sleep when I heard some rustling grass. I jumped up and ran over to where I heard the noise. I ran through and found a small clearing. I became happy almost instantly because on the ground was a fish, and a small red bandanna with a white circle on it. That brings us to the present where I still search for a cat named Thelma, I know that she is still alive somewhere out in this land. What is your Character's ambitions?: To find his cat again and to thrive in this new land What is your character’s favorite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc): Bow as a primary, Sword as a secondary. I would prefer a fishing rod to a compass or map in gathering aspects. What is one of your Character's most skilled talents?: Agility and Fishing. He can catch a fish easily with little difficulty and can climb a tree easily. A screenshot of your skin (must be in proper format): Other Information about your Character: He has the ability to be really smart and understanding, but tends to forget the things often, although if he remembers something for a day straight he remembers it for the rest of his life. He loves to explore and also likes to jot down notes on different types of animals, fish and birds. Also he did escape the Destruction of Aegis although its noted without being blatantly obvious in the bio. (Use this Link as a reference since it does intertwine with the bio) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Open-Response-Questions Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond? I stood in silence watching these 2 warriors, wondering if this poor halfling was being harassed. One of the warriors suddenly tries to attack the halfling and the other warrior stops him. I choose that I should stay put and not to become noticeable. The warriors then walk away, leaving the halfling standing there completely afraid. I walked up to the halfling to ask what had just happened and the halfling just ran off without saying anything. I decided not to follow and continued my travels. Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response? I see a small stall with a man in it who appears to be trying to sell some maps along with other things. I walk over and he greets me with the question of what I would like to buy. I kindly ask, "Do you happen to have any fishing bait?" The merchant replied, "No." I then ask if he has any maps of the area and he promptly replies that he does. I ask to buy a map and checked my pockets for money but couldn't find any. I then look behind me to see someone slowly walk away with all of my money. I quickly run up to him and accuse him of the act. He then tells me that it wasn't a good idea to mess with him. I replied, "It isn't a good idea to mess with me either." The man then laughed and walked away completely unaware that I distracted him long enough to get my money back from him. I then walk to where the stall was and notice it was missing. I realized that the whole thing was a ploy to attract victims to steal from. I then continue my travels off the where I was going in the first place... Which I completely forget where I was going. Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?: I find a hut with a chest in it that seemed abandoned. I, because of curiosity, go and check to see whats in the chest. I notice a few iron bars and a gold sword. Taking note of its rarity I take the sword out and go to test it out by swinging it around randomly. I then go back into the forest and forget that I intended to return the sword. Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you in the common tongue, how do you respond? I have been lost in the forest for a day now. I am very hungry and the fishing hasn't been good. I then stumbled upon a small trading camp that seemed to be very... well small. Thinking of only food, I go over to the nearest person and ask where I could buy some. He points me in the direction of a stall and I then thank him. I walk over to the stall and then ask how much is it for a few apples. The salesman tells me the price and I then pay him for the food. I immediately eat the apples and then thank him. I then walk off and continue my journey to find the nearest town or city. After walking for a few minutes I realize that I probably should have asked for directions because I am now lost... again." You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?: Some town gaurds seemed to be asking for assistance so I promptly ask what they needed. The one gaurd says that he would give me part of the bounty on the bandit's heads if I were to help him eliminate them. I accept to help since I just recently got a new sword that I wanted to try out. I then follow the gaurds to the location of where the bandits were. When we got there I noticed that the bandits seemed to be per-occupied with something. Since I was here to kill them I pull out my bow and shoot an arrow at one of them. I hit one of them in the shoulder and the bandits all turned towards us. I fired another arrow and finished off the one I hit before. At that moment the gaurds then rushed the bandits and the bandits were promptly captured within seconds. I walk over to the gaurds and the one gaurd said that they couldn't of done it without me, although I'm pretty sure they could. I then say bye and walk away. 30 minutes later I think back on the situation and realize, wasn't I supposed to get some of the money for capturing them? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Extra Notes Color Coding Key Section Question Link I have mentioned this once in the other character details but this is very important 1. He was born and even went through the Destruction of Aegis but it is not stated obviously 2. This bio intertwines with mine and gives more information on what happens on paragraph 12 that my character is unaware of. Characters Renegard Castein (Him) Irisha Castein (His Mother) Thelma (His Cat) Bareg Bouldersmash (An Orc) *bio You can take the Open-Answers and actually combine them into a story int his order 1, 2, 4, 3, (Imaginative Filler), 5 The mods who inspected my other 2 attempts are #1 Lucas #2 Trouvo I posted this about 22 hours 30 minutes after my last post I hope it doesn't matter since it was supposed to be 24 hours after. I also hope adding another section to the format doesn't hurt it either

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- *Edit forgot to make the questions blue

(note, you aren’t required to have a sub-race):N/A Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.): It all started one day near an Elven village. The village was in an uproar over what was just found. An elven female by the name of Irisha returned to their village with what seemed like a human boy, it was me. A cat followed my every move as I walked through the village. I stared blankly at the village for this was my first memory. I had no recollection of what happened before then, the only thing I knew was that I am now in a village with Elven people and I do not know what my name, or even where this cat came from that seemed to love me so much. I had very bad social skills at the time and could barely communicate at all. Irisha took me through the town and as I looked around I was followed by the curious stares of the other villagers. I was then taken into her home and that marked the start of the adventures to come. 1 Elven(4 Human)years later Looking in the mirror I was adjusting my dirty blonde hair. Checking for any signs of tiredness in my blue eyes I then walked over to put back on my red shirt. I love the color red and have for a very long time. I then walked over to my cat that I had named Renegard. At this time I was commonly called Cat due to the fact that, 2 Human Years earlier, I had gone around telling people to call me Cat as a joke because my cat had a proper name while I would simply go by Cat. It stuck and, even though it was supposed to be a joke, I never protested. Renegard stared at me intently as I put on my red bandanna that I put a white circle on just to make it not plain red. I also made a small miniature one for Renegard who wore it on his tiny head. I walked through the door into the foyer Irisha then yelled to me, "Hay, you almost forgot your fishing rod!" She then proceeded to hand me it. I said thank you and left the house. In the year that has gone by this village turned into a nice bustling town. I was part of the hunting team to go out that morning. It was a great day. Renegard followed me everywhere, Including on hunts. That day we got a few wild chickens. Renegard also caught a fish, although during the process scared away a wild pig. On the way home while attempting to do a trick one of the other Elves pulled I fell out of a tree. I landed hard and went out like a light. When I came too I was lying in the towns small medical center. Renegard was sitting right next to me and meowed when he noticed I woke up. I didn't have any major injuries and was able to walk. Noticing a slight pain though, I decided to not join in the hunts for the next moon. So I sat by the river nearby fishing the day away. Renegard seemed somewhat bored for that time but I encouraged Renegard to try fishing with me. When I felt better I decided to practice tree climbing. I noticed that the way that I usually did it, which was the Elven way, didn't seem to have the same effectiveness for me. I decided that it wasn't to big of a deal until I tried crossing tree to tree. I noticed that my movements weren't as fine as I ever thought they were. I decided that I would need to do things a little differently since I wasn't an elf. I found some reeds nearby and fashioned some paper from it. I then went and took some of the many ink sacs I have found, during the days I spent fishing, and started to write down different techniques. My cat tried it with me and we practiced together. By the time I was called to hunt again I was very acute at finding anything that could help me with the tasks of mobility that the Elves seemed so easily to master. 1 Elven Year (4 Human) Later I had my own house, and was actively trading in the fish market. Renegard was sitting on the table behind me as I prepared some fish for a few elves that wanted it. After the exchange I went to my storage room to find my window broken and my chest empty. I ran over to the window to investigate and noticed that nobody else had noticed a robbery other than me. I then thought of how to catch the theif if he or she were to come back. 2 Human Years Later I had just left my home when I noticed a small shadow on a tree behind my house. I took a rock and threw it at the shadow. It hit with a square *thud* and the shadow screeched and fell over. Renegard ran over to it and when I followed I discovered it was an orc. Before I had a chance to ask it what it was doing here it took out a horn a blew on it. I then looked past the trees and noticed many lights and heard more sounds from orcish tongue. I noticed that they all were carrying axes and seemed intent on attacking. Diplomacy was no longer an option so I turned and ran with Renegard close behind me. I ran into the town screaming to everyone that Orcs were attacking. I ran straight into my house, and got my sword, bow and some arrows out. I then went over and took my picked up my book that I had written long ago to help me remember what to look for when needing to be as agile as an elf. When I ran back outside I noticed that the town was already in panic. This was a peaceful town so we weren't ready for a war. I ran straight for the hunting shop and told everyone that they needed to help defend the town. Only some of them were brave enough to help. I sent them to help find more recruits then to meet me at the center of town. When we met back up we had a total of 25 elves ready to help fight for their town. I quickly told them the plan that I came up with. We were to hide in the trees around the center and wait for the orcs to fall right into the ambush. The odds didn't look good since there was only 26 of us and at least 75 orcs. All we could do now though is wait. When the orcs came they arrived to the center of the town and looked down curiously at a cat that was standing there trying to catch a fish that was stubbornly clinging onto life flopping around on the ground. When the cat finally caught the fish it then ran into a bush. An orc followed being lured by curiosity and as soon as the orc touched the bush and elf seemed to leap out at it and in an instant the orc was dead. The other orcs noticed and ran after the elf in a blind fury. Then as if by magic arrows seemed to be magically appearing out of trees and it rained hard. 15 orcs dead from the rain were on the ground. The elf then went over and finished off one that was still alive. Some more orcs were close by and what they thought was an elf at first, was really a human in red. The orcs blinked and the human was gone. There was no trace, except for the bodies of the dead, of any archers or warriors in site. The cat, having finished its fish, decided to jump outside of the bush. Some of the orcs noticed and immediately started chancing it. The cat whipped around a bend on the side of a building then all that was heard were the shrieks of the orcs. When some of the others went to investigate nothing was on the side of the building. One of the orcs looked up and noticed a small gleam in the sky. It realized That arrows were falling from the sky. All the orcs immediately took cover and none of the arrows landed a single hit. Some orcs panicked and then started throwing their axes at the trees. A few elves were hit and fell out of the trees. Then another rain of arrows struck down on the orcs killing a group of 15. The orcs then started to flee. We have won but half the town was in ruins. I jumped down from my perch atop a building and went to look for Renegard. I couldn't find him anywhere. He was gone, just like that. I decided that now was not the time to think about such thoughts and went to check on the elves that got hit. They were on the ground dead. I looked over at the elves and noticed that one of them was Irisha. That broke me. I openly wept at that moment and looked at Irisha for any signs of life but she was dead. There was no way that she was coming back. The next day the town Mayor visited me at what was left of my house and immediately chained me and brought me to the middle of the town. This was a situation that I predicted from the start. There had to be someone to blame for the damage to the town and the death of the elves. I was a perfect candidate because I was in charge of the "defense force" that fought them off. I was exiled from the town and I never even protested. As I was leaving I said one final thing to the Elves that were watching me leave, "I will only return as a Hero and will stop at nothing to clear my name." At that the guards took the chains off and I walked away. I walked aimlessly in the woods and sat down to camp for the day. I noticed a flicker of a cat's tail on the edge of the grass and ran towards it. I pushed through the leaves and grass to find Renegard's little red bandanna in a clearing. I went over to pick it up and then heard the rustling in another direction. I realized that there may still be a chance at finding Renegard and I ran towards the rustling. 2 Human years have passed since then and I have been wandering around hoping to find Renegard and prove myself to a town that has exiled me. That brings us to the present time where I, Renegard, known mostly as Cat, continue my search for a cat that has been with me since before I can remember trying to prove that I have what it takes to become a legend. What is your Character's ambitions?:Too find his cat and prove that he is worthy of being put back into the town he was exiled from. In other words become a legend. What is your character’s favorite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc):Bow as a primary, Sword as a secondary. I would prefer a fishing rod to a compass or map in gathering aspects. What is one of your Character's most skilled talents? Tactical. He was a Human raised by elves, He lacked the agility of the Elven people so he needed to find ways around doing tasks that the Elves could do, but Humans would be hard pressed to do. A screenshot of your skin (must be in proper format): Other Information about your Character: He prefers to wear things that aren't as restrictive and wears red mostly. By this time he is about 24 human years old but no one really knows his true age. Open-Response-Questions Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond? He surveys the situation, waiting to see if his suspicions are true that they are, indeed, trying to steal from the halfling. If confirmed he would sneak tactically (assuming he is alone) and shoot his bow from the darkness. Trying his best to stay stealthy, but then rush when spotted with his sword held high. If they weren't really trying to steal the gold then I would observe the halfling to figure out what it did that riled the warriors up. Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response? He would respond, "Do you have some arrows I can buy. I seem to be running out and would like to stock on supplies while I'm here." Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?: He would check for any signs of it still being in use. If it seems that it is not I would take only a few of the iron bars, in case it was still in use to avoid making a possibly enemy. If it was still in use I would try and help out by sneaking things into the chest instead of stealing. Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond? He would say, "Hello, I seem to have come across here while being terribly lost in the woods. Would you please show me to the nearest food store?" You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?: He would try to help out the guards by watching the roads stealthily and reporting possible bandit activity. If I were to be seen watching them I would immediately run away unless I had support.
