  1. (( This place is uncountable amounts of sheer awesome, had me get over my RP block and is just so MUCH FUN UGH I CANT EXPRESS HOW MUCH I LOVE IT WITH TEXT ALONE. ))

Rina writes about how awesome she thinks this place is in her diary : This place is absolutely grand, it has helped me get over my depression, and has helped me become myself again. The bark of the trees here are blessed with some kind of magic, because my bones are healing quiet quickly! * the writing becomes harder with expression* AND THEY HAVE SEA TURTLES!!!!

  2. Out-Of-Character

    Minecraft Account Name: Pandasrcute2

    How old are you?: 16

Time-Zone/Country of Residence: Eastern US standard

Do you have a good grip on the English language/good grammar?:

I do consider myself to be decent in this aspect.

Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself:

I consider myself a pretty person, but I am pretty fat. I have green eyes, brown hair, and I have a nose. I am also female, though that does not effect most things. Man do I love pandas, they are my every thing.

How much time could you be on the server weekly?:

Probably around... 48 hours minimum, for I have no life! This is no exaggeration. Will probably have more hours if this server is as awesome as people say it is.

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you:

To me? Well, role playing to me is taking of a role of a different person than yourself, then acting out that person's life, through the good times and the bad times, making a long story, or short, with that person's life.

What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?:

I have acted big parts in many plays, I played a lot of dungeons and dragons. For a while I was even a GM. I have been dedicated and loyal to a RP server called Aswein, until her last breath... She lasted a year and a half.

In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is:

Last time I said it in my own words, I was denied, so I will give it in a way that you are accustomed.

Metagaming refers to making decisions and discussing topics based on information that your character would realistically have no way of knowing. Much like reading a book, the reader knows things the character doesn't at the time. Be like a reader! You cannot communicate with the character of the book!

I hope your own words better than you like my own words.

In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Gaming is:

A player can be described as a powergamer if he or she presumes or declares that his or her own action against another player character is successful without giving the other player character the freedom to act on his own prerogative ( as a text book example, since you realize that I do know it but pointed me out that I was wrong before. )

What do you expect this server will be like?:

At this point, I don't even know. I am pretty sure it will be amazing beyond all belief, and I am seeing more and more I probably do not deserve to be in this server.

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?:

I have been on Aswein for a long time, I have not quit it.

I have been on A vault RP when aswein got slow, it was nothing but a bunch of trolls, so I left.

I have been on a friends server, the same friend who recommended me to this... So that is why i quit that one.

Have you read, understood, and agreed to the rules?:

I am positively sure that I have actually memorized it I read them so much.

Do you promise to abide by said rules, and laws? This includes the Server, Forum, and Teamspeak set Rules:

    * gets down on knees and crosses heart* I do agree to go by said rules to the best of my ability.

How did you hear about us?:

My friend, Ricky he told me it was a sheer amount of awesome.

Have you previously made an Application? If so could you link us to your last Application?:

    Oh yeah, here. http://www.lordofthecraft.net/forum/index.php?/topic/50278-pandas-application/

Have you posted this application on our minecraft forum thread yet? If not, just finish it up on here and then copy + paste is over there. In-Character:

    Character Name: Rina Kameki

    What Race are you?: Elf

What Sub-Race are you? (note, you aren’t required to have a sub-race):

    Dark elf

Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):

She was born in a traveling group of Elves. This traveling group wandered the world, discovering the world's wonders and sights for themselves. One day when Rina was four Elven years old, a group of bandits attacked the traveling group at night. This caught the group completely unaware as it turns out the watcher for the night was bribed by the bandit leader into silence as they killed and looted the place. For what she knew, only Rina and her Father, Lembart, escaped. She was extremely sad when she found out that her mother was never coming back, and there was no more family of travelers. She was used to frolicking and having her life filled with very much merriment and grand sights as she traveled. She loved her Father, he was kind and very jolly with a catching laugh that Rina adored. Her mother was stern, but always ended up smiling at her antics.

With her mother and traveling family gone, she was left with only herself, and her Father. Lembart never really was ever as jolly as he was when every one was still alive. Rina made up for this by trying to have the most fun she can for both of them, but that got hard for even her. Living in the wilds alone was very tough. For 10 Elven years they lived like this. In that time, she learned how to hunt and gather. Of course in the winter this was very difficult, they relied heavily on traveling merchants and villages. Even through all of their hardships, she never stopped trying to be the most happy she could be, in memory of how things used to be long ago. One day in the forest, she was preparing the hides of boars for tanning. Rina's father was out hunting saying that he would be back by sun down, like normal. She finished the preparations and hung up the hides in a tree. Rina wasn't worried when the sun set on that day, she knew some times it took him a little longer to get done. Rina was making them a stew from boar meat and wild berries, with just a touch of mint.

She heard rustling in the bushes, and she quickly grabbed her bow, slung in an arrow and pulled back the sting fully. She does this out of pure instinct, her ways with a bow makes it seem like the bow is actually a fused part of herself. She isn't good with blades and she knows very little about magic, but with a bow she is very naturally skilled. Out of the bushes came a zombie, growling hungry and mad. She released her string and the arrow struck the zombie right between it's rotten eyes. It collapsed with a dying groan. This is when she really wondered where her Father was. It was unsafe to travel into the dark, she knew this. There was nothing more to do but hope he came back. She ate her meal, still waiting for his call, or any thing to tell him he was fine. Lembart always called out to her in a kind of bird call, but a bird unlike any around. She wrapped up his portion in leaves and set it in a place where no animals or undead would get to it. Putting away all her cooking supplies and throwing away the waste away from the camp, she went to her small copper mirror.

Since she was very, very young she had died her hair with a mixture of herbs and berries that turned her hair into a violent shade of purple. All of her family did this, even her Father. She had to coat her hair in mud and leaves to not alert the animals she hunted. Her skin is a beautiful shade of ash gray and beau blue. Her lips are the shade of majorelle blue, just in the shape of her mother's. She loved her eyes just as her father's, even though her mother's were forest green, her eyes were the fiery color of rosso corsa. She wears a dark, durable travelers outfit that she made herself. She always wears a bow on the back of her head, except when she was hunting. Looking in the mirror, she thought that she was beautiful.

She slipped into her sleeping bag and hoped her Father would be back again. In the morning, however, he was not in his tent. She camouflaged her self in mud, brush, and a bit of bark and set off looking for her Father. While walking she first saw an arm in a tree, then a leg on a bush. She didn't look at them too long, for fear she would find out that they were her Father's. She continued on, and she found her father's head. For forty, twenty, eight-thousand, any number of minutes she stood there with horror plastered on her face, frozen like a statue at her father's head. The eyes of the head were open and frosted over. His mouth was agape, frozen in a scream that never made it's way out of his throat. She grabbed his head, and stroked it for hours, like he did when she was sad. She

felt like she had cried out her soul before she realized that she was now alone. For the first time in her life, she was completely and utterly alone. She hated it, she hated it so very, VERY much.

She pushed those thoughts from her head, and started gathering her father's scattered body parts. This was hard in many ways. For one, picking up a dead loved one's limbs and bits is very sad and traumatizing. Another, some parts were in very difficult to reach places, as down in a hole, or up in a very tall tree. She never could find his left arm, but she had enough pieces. She went back to camp and started sewing her father back into a reasonable form. She spent hours making a good enough box to put him in. She piled birch branches and dewbark grass along with sacred herbs on his box. She did this from memory as she saw her Mother do for Steven, a wood elf who had taken a arrow for her. She took a torch and set the mix ablaze. She got upon her knees and said prayers for his soul to have good passing onto the next. She sent his soul off with the good memories she had with him, not sharing the bad memories with his soul for fear of corruption. After an hour, there was nothing left but a pile of ash. She scooped up what she could in a jar with out getting any dirt in it. She coated the jar in a black canvas bag, for she had no velvet or silk.

For days after that, she did nothing but cradle the jar of her father and eat the rations she had, she knew she had to hunt soon, to live on for her family. But at the same time she did not want to leave, she wanted to stay there until she died.

The next day, she hears whimsical playing of a flute echoing through the willow branches. Curious, she goes out of her tent, bag in hand. Nearing the sound, she sees a dark elf skipping around the woods, playing his flute.

" Hail! What are you doing playing your flute in the middle of the forest? Are you not afraid of bandits?" She asks in a tone concerned for him.

"If a beautiful forest such as this is not the correct place to play, then tell me. Where is the proper place? And the matter concerning the bandits, I am not scared of some brutes." He says as whimsical as his flute playing.

She is surprised by his poetic and very flamboyant way of speaking." If you do not mind me asking, who are you? Also, it is not safe around here... My father ... he was.. murdered here" She starts crying again, hugging her black canvas bag.

He stops playing the flute tied to a piece of string around his neck. "My name is Rei. I am very sorry for the tragedy that has fallen upon your father. I promise you, however, that he is in a far greater place." Smiling, he sits down next to Rina.

She looks up, and smiles through her tears at his kindness. A loud snap of a twig is heard by them, and the two both turn their heads. They both see some well- camouflaged bandits approaching them, now rapidly as they saw they were discovered.

In a single fluid motion, his blade is in his left hand. He is a left-handed fighter. His scarf swings around to his back as he stands and faces the source of the sound. Rina gingerly sets her father's ashes on the ground and quickly scuttles up a nearby tree. She draws her bow as the same time she draws and arrow, pulling back the string and releasing right into the neck of a rapidly approaching bandit.

Rei approaches another one of the bandits slowly. Taking his time, he approaches in a relatively calm pace. He grins, his crimson red eyes glistening as the bandit swings a mighty axe. Rei dodges it swiftly, swinging around in a single fluid motion. Just like that. The bandit's hand lies in a patch of flowers. She quickly redraws and hits a bandit that was about to club Rei over the head with an arrow in between his shoulder blades. He continues to just stand there calmly. Not moving.

The last of the bandits are dead and after a couple minutes she climbs down from the tree. On of the bandits had smashed the jar inside the back canvas sack, her father's ashes scattered all over the ground.

Rei turns and notices what had happened at the same time Rina did. He sighs, sheathing his blade, he tells her, "I'm sorry for that. I understand how much they meant to you...but carrying that around would only anchor you into the past. It's better this way. Trust me. "

This was two elven years ago, they traveled together ever since. She always kept close to him, for fear of being alone. Now they travel around, telling tales and surviving together. ( she is 16 elven years old )

    What is your Character's ambitions?:

Her ambitions are to explore the world and see what sights they have for her. She also wants to make people happy, see people smile. Being born in as a traveler, that is what she wants to continue doing. Maybe once again she will have a traveling troupe as she did when she was young.

What is your character’s favorite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc):

Bow, if that does not count, then shovel.

What is one of your Character's most skilled talents?

She is good in the ways of cooking, skinning, archery, and herbalism. Those are her top skills.

    Other Information about your Character:

She absolutely hates to be alone, so she usually sticks with Rei where ever she goes.

    Open-Response-Questions

Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond?

The sight of the two warriors stealing money from some one half their size is so shameful that her bow is already in her hand. Rei's sword is already drawn and he is yelling at them to stop now or face the consequences. Rina on the other hand is already firing an arrow at the warriors faces, one of the few places showing exposure on their bodies. The arrow goes right into the guards eye, and he crumples to the ground screaming. The other one is at close combat with Rei, who managed to get stabbed in the shoulder. The halfling used a magic push that had the warrior on the ground, Rina grabbed her shovel and hit him over the head repeatedly. Rei got up and put his hand on her in a way to tell her to stop, the warrior's brains were all over the forest trail. They returned the gold to the halfling and the halfing insisted they stay at his camp. Using some of her herbs, Rina treated Rei's wounds gingerly.

(( ENOUGH EFFORT FOR YOU?) )

Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response?

She smiles kindly," Hail, would you happen to have any beef or string for sale?"

" Why of course miss, our string is 10 minas each and our beef is 30 minas."

She has a look of being displeased," Do you not think that is a bit much for beef?"

He continues smiling," Well, for a pretty face like yours, I can knock a few minas off, how does 8 for string and 20 for beef sound?"

She smiles again, pleased," That sounds more than fair, I will have ten pounds of beef and 7 spools of sting"

They exchange goods and money, she bows slightly, then continues on with her day.

    ( (Effortful ENOUGH?))

Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?:

She looks around to be sure no one is here. There is no one there, so she takes all the goods and continues on with Rei, happy with her good fortune.

Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond?

She is over joyed to see people she expresses her happiness in her speech," Hail! I have been wandering the wilds and am in need of assistance if you would be so kind as to give me some!"

"Of course Miss, what do you need help with?" A man says, happy to help.

"I thank you, I would love if I could have some shelter from the night, some food, if you have any, and maybe a point in the right direction would be most appreciated. If you have any work needed to be done, I would do it in thanks to you" She has a look on her face of worry she is asking too much.

" If you help chop fire wood for the night, I'm sure we could help you out."

" Oh, thank you, thank you so much, you have no idea how much this means to me!" She bows deeply serveral times.

You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?:

She gets Rei to suite up and help the guards flush out the bandits, of course going with him. The guards and them never do find any bandits though; the tip was just to get some of the guards out while people robbed the store houses.

    (( I hope this is better. ))

She would probably use her bow to try and shoot the bandits in the legs, keeping them from running away. Then she would help see that the bandits see justice.

Your character walks up to a shop in the middle of Al'Khazar. "Hello, my good sir!" says the shop owner. "What may I help you with today?" How does your character answer?

"Hail! and I have some leathers I would like to sell. Also, do you have any work that needs to be done for some extra minas?" She sets down a satchel full of leathers and furs.
