Out-Of-Character
Minecraft Account Name: Lady_Wolf
How old are you?: 13 in May, but mature for my age.
Time-Zone/Country of Residence: I live in Canada, which is GMT-4.
Do you have a good grip on the English language/good grammar?: Yes, I do, I am in Gifted English classes at school, and I am very meticulous about my spelling and grammar.
Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: I'm a female, living in Canada. I love playing Minecraft, and often enjoy it more than real life. I'm quite social ingame.
How much time could you be on the server weekly?: Maybe 20-40 hours? It might fluctuate a bit, though, mainly because of homework or vacations.
What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you: Roleplaying is 'playing' or acting a role, often one that you created. It provides many people, including me, with an escape from real life.
What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?: I haven't had much experience myself, but I really enjoy reading through roleplay forums.
In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is: Meta-Gaming is using information you learned in real life to affect your actions ingame. It could be anything from a supposedly uneducated peasant doing complicated math learned in real life to an player building elaborate redstone mechanisms found on Minecraft Wiki.
In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Gaming is: Power-Gaming is when a player will bend a situation to their own purposes, giving the other player(s) involved no chance to change it, or react to something that will harm their character. For example, a thief could RP robbing another player, but in elaborate detail, and filling in all possible loopholes, therefore not giving the victim a chance to stop themselves from being robbed, or escape.
What do you expect this server will be like?: I expect it to be a well-maintained, fun RP server, and I hope that there are very few rulebreakers or griefers, considering the application process.
What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: I've played on several prison servers, a few Bukkit servers, a freebuild server, and a Tekkit server, as well as my siblings' and my own. I left the prison servers because some shut down, and the rest had very badly-maintained rules, basically allowing the prisoners to do whatever they wanted. The Bukkit servers and the freebuild server also had quite anarchist systems, and I didn't enjoy the gameplay much. The Tekkit server, sadly enough, seems to be broken. I'm not quite sure why. The servers running from my house are only up a fraction of the time, so I can't play on them much.
Have you read, understood, and agreed to the rules?: Yes, I have read the rules, fully understand them, and fully agree to them.
Do you promise to abide by said rules, and laws? This includes the Server, Forum, and Teamspeak set Rules: Yes, I promise to abide by said rules and laws.
How did you hear about us?: I was looking for an RP server on Planet Minecraft, and this one looked really fun.
Have you previously made an Application? If so could you link us to your last Application?: Yes, it's here: http://www.lordofthecraft.net/forum/index.php?/topic/51659-shadow-dancers-application/page__p__395221__fromsearch__1#entry395221

Open-Response-Questions
Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond? I creep up behind the warriors, and quickly knock them unconscious with a series of sharp jabs to their most vulnerable pressure points. I growl at the halfling to take his things and go before I do the same to him. He runs, and I search the guards, taking their valuables and leaving them to wake up to aching limbs and missing armour, weapons, and money.
Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response? I glare at him, being distrustful and misanthropic since my parents' deaths, but I buy a new sword and pickaxe from him, as I need new equipment and nobody else is selling. I then turn around and leave, to wander wherever the winds take me.
Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?: I take everything in the chest, the chest itself, and tear down the hut and load everything into my pack. I then make sure nobody is watching me, and leave. I can get a good price for this, and nobody with half a brain will question where it came from.
Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond? I have scouted out the camp for hours, and am satisfied that it's safe for me. Knowing I need help, I admit my weakness, and beg for food and shelter. They readily accept, offering me a hot meal as well as a place to sleep, and food for the rest of my journey. In the middle of the night, I slip away like a shadow - the skill that earned me my name - and leave some minas under the pillow of my bed to thank them.
You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?: Bandits? Pathetic. I join the attack party, and we quickly disarm them, leaving them either unconscious or fleeing. We collect the bounty, as well as the bandits' items, and leave.
