  1. Out-Of-Character Minecraft Account Name: LMAOnator712 How old are you?: Im 22 years old as of 2012. Time-Zone/Country of Residence: GMT +8 Singapore Do you have a good grip on the English language/good grammar?: Hmm... I can write and I can describe things with some simple english. I am not really good with grammer though. Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: My name is Lucas and I love Minecraft. I like doing massive builds although I have not done many. I work as a casual labor in a Cantonese Restaurant while waiting for my Military Enlistment. I hope to enlist by June. How much time could you be on the server weekly?: maybe 3 to 6 hours per alternate days. Which will be about 18 hours maximum? I would maybe play more. What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you: Role Playing to me is like a drama or a skit. I enjoy role playing because I enjoy reading stories, especially lore. I would be great if I can be part of an Epic story of adventure. What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?: I act in my church for dramas and skits. I enjoy playing Skyrim as a bad guy, Mua hahaha (I also played as a good guy). I role played as a police in my friend's private Minecraft Server. In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is: Meta-Gaming is player's knowledge VS character's knowledge. For example, the player knows that on a particular road there are more bandits and dangerous monsters because he/she had played it on another character before so he/she decided to take a de-tour but his/her current new character has yet to face a bandit on this road and has no idea that there are bandits or monsters. It is like knowing beforehand what would happen when his/her character has no idea of what is ahead. In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Gaming is: Power-Gaming is using the abilities of the character to prevent any form of counter-attack from its target. For example, non stop stunning effect on an opponent preventing any movements. What do you expect this server will be like?: I expect this server to be filled with dynamics. It would be interesting to see how minecraft can be changed into a full role-playing game. I would love to engage in epic boss battles or fighting a bunch of bandits that came out of nowhere while wondering in the forest. If this would really happen in the server and not forgetting parties and questing together. What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: Truth to be told, I didnt buy the premium MC until now. One reason is because I'm tired of playing in total messed up off-line servers. I started playing with my friends in one of their private servers and I also made a small server myself. My younger brother love Assassin's Creed so I decided to make my server into a story based-off the actual Assassin's Creed story. So I started creating a fictional story out of that fictional game. I am still working on the cities and towns in my server and I thought,"why don't I buy Minecraft and create my own skin? Create my own Assassin robe for the story" and so I did. But right after I bought Minecraft, I had a sudden thought,"Lord of the Craft, hey, that server that I wanted to play. Now I got premium, why don't I give it a try?" And here I am applying for the server. Have you read, understood, and agreed to the rules?: Yes, I have read, understood and agreed to the rules. Do you promise to abide by said rules, and laws? This includes the Server, Forum, and Teamspeak set Rules: Yes I promise to abide to the rules. How did you hear about us?: I first saw the official trailer video on Youtube and it got me interested. Since it is a full RPG server, which is rather different from other servers, I wanted to know how it is like so I searched some videos uploaded by in-game players. I enjoyed their videos so I decided to try but then I realised I am not premium. So now I got my premium, I am happy to go. Have you previously made an Application? If so could you link us to your last Application?: Yes, this is my 2nd attempt. The link to my 1st post is here Have you posted this application on our minecraft forum thread yet? If not, just finish it up on here and then copy + paste is over there. (http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/832121-%E2%96%91%E2%96%92%E2%96%93-the-lord-of-the-craft-%E2%96%93%E2%96%92%E2%96%91-enter-the-world-of-asulon-o-f-f-i-c-i-a-l-l-y-t-h-e-n-o-1-r-p-s-e-r-v-e-r/): In-Character: Character Name: Rog'tar What Race are you?: Orc What Sub-Race are you? (note, you aren’t required to have a sub-race): The Nomad Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.): I found a book in an old bookstore and there was a story of someone I knew in it: A Record of Unsung tales of the common people Account three: Rog'tar the Forgotten Written by Anonymous traveller Please Play Music: Born in Krugmar, an orc of the Ugluk clan. His mother, Kular, was a farmer who tended to all kinds of plants, fruits and vegetables that ranges from wheat to netherwarts. His father, Ushtar, was a lumberjack, working hard every day chopping down trees to provide wood and firewood. They both lived humbly in service to their clan and the nation. When Kular was pregnant, a clan Grandmother, Gilbat - who also brought up Ushtar - visited Kular and her cub regularly. With each visit giving advices and teaching the young couples in preparation for the cub's birth and upbringing. When Gilbat first visited Kular, the spirits gave her a vision of the cub's future; he will stop some kind of evil and prevent destruction upon Krugmar. She kept the vision all to herself and told no one because it was not clear enough for details and may cause confusion among the people. Day after day, month after month, Kular stayed in her tent nesting away, awaiting the day of the cub's birth. The labour has been hard on her as it was her first time but at the thought of having a cub brought much joy to both Kular and Ushtar. Some may think that it will be boring for Kular to follow the traditional nesting method but this was not the case. Clan mates would often drop by gifts to the family, encouraging the young Kular. It is always good to feel loved and being remembered. For Ushtar, not only was there advice from Gilbat, fellow experienced orcs will too advice and teach him things that they know, some would even share their stories. And so the day has come for the cub to be brought into this world. Many fellow orcs had gathered at the tent entrance, to support the family. Gilbat:"Ash, dub, gakh, prush! tahk ah deheep bearth en ash, dub, gakh, prush!" (One, two, three, push! Take a deep breath and one, two, three, push!) After a few moments, the cry of the cub was heard and the crowd outside rejoiced. Ushtar:"heed lok olf, fukisham clomp'r, feet fur waariur." (He look strong, strength of a fighter, fit for a warrior) Kular:"Wud shnt weed namb em?" (What shall we name him?) Ushtar:"Rog'tar, Rog'tar be da namb!" (Rog'tar, Rog'tar will be his name) Please Play Music: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JbSyz42xefE&feature=BFa&list=PL8A4598B1EFE196F3 And so Rog'tar breathed his first breath in this world. Everyone was glad to have Rog'tar, a new youngling to bring honor to their clan and nation, to take over them and pass on the culture in the days to come, Hoowah! Kular and Ushtar nursed the small Rog'tar until he is able to go for his first step to learn what it means to be a true uzg. Gilbat once again visited them that very day to take a look at young Rog'tar. Gilbat:"Dees da Rog'tar'z futh yar, da yar ob chanjang, do bacarm da truu uzg. Ushtar, lat be terch Rog'tar da uzg." (This is Rog'tar's fifth year, the year of change to become a true orc. Ushtar, you will be teaching Rog'tar to be an orc.) Ushtar:"Gruk, bub mi nub goad fitar, mi klomp lass, mi nub goad art klomp." (Understood, but I am no fighter, I seldom get into a battle, I'm not good at fighting.) Kular:"Mi arkreee Ushtar, mi wad Gilbat terch Rog'tar, Gilbat Granmomo, lat goad tershear. lat wid gib Rog'tar marny ding arn Rog'tar wud ba fukisham." (I agree with Ushtar, I want you Gilbat to teach Rog'tar. You are a Grandmother, a good teacher. You are able to teach Rog'tar well and he will become strong.) Gilbat:"Dabu, bud mi kyyp em wut me foah lung tyme, til em fuksham be kloompen, lat nut be peepen em foah lung tyme. Lat buzy wid huntgoth, huntin foah klan." (Yes, but I will keep him with me for a long time, till he is strong enough. You won't be able to meet him for this time. Go and be busy with your work with the Huntgoth.) Ushtar: "Gruk, mi deb jure. Mi woe dat lat tamb goad kar ob Rog'tar." (Understood, I am sure about this. I know that you will take good care of Rog'tar) Kular: "Mi deb jure tor. Lat tok goad kar ob Rog'tar, Gilbat." (I am sure of this too. You will take good care of Rog'tar for us, Gilbat) Gilbat:"Zugzug." (Then it shall be) They then punched each other on the shoulder and Kular hugged Rog'tar for one last time. Gug'ye to Rog'tar as he goes off with Gilbat to the beginning of his journey of Orc(Man)-hood. Please Play Music: Through Rog'tar's first year, he has shown great determination and boldness. He was eager to learn and is relentless in his fights, showing no sign of fear even when he had lost but there was a dire weakness in Rog'tar; he did not have the strength of an orc. Gilbat was merciful and patient with Rog'tar, hoping that Rog'tar will gain strength and become what she had seen in her vision but she realised that Rog'tar had developed a strong interest in farming and rearing animals. Seeing how Rog'tar handles the little chicks with care and gentleness, Gilbat realised that Rog'tar would not be a usual orc. A few more years passed and now Rog'tar is eight, it is time for the big test. Every Grandmother will be at the arena, including the Elders and the Rex to watch how well each cub will perform in battle, a ultimate test for them. Those who win in any match will qualify and pass the test, those who fail but showed great valor will also qualify but needed to go for an endurance test for a pass. But to those who failed and has not shown the strength, they will be thrown into the desert - being considered as weak - until they become stronger. The cubs will have to rely on themselves to survive, if they are strong enough to survive and return to Krugmar showing the strength of an orc, they pass. On the other hand, they might just die trying to survive. Please Play Music: The arena gates open and Rog'tar walks out from the shadow of the hallway behind to meet his first opponent. Another cub walks out at the other end of the arena, almost 3 times the size of Rog'tar; his name is Dajambat. As they walk towards each other to the middle of the arena, Dajambat started yelling and doing warcries but Rog'tak's eyes were focused, not even a wink, showing no signs of fear. The next moment, the two of them started bashing each other. Rog'tar tries to dodge the blows but Dajambat was too fast, he grabbed Rog'tar by one of his foot and hurled him far away. Badly injured, Rog'tar still tries to get up as Dajambat gets closer till he is standing just right above him. Dajambat:"Lat scranee pu-ni lattle uzg, lat nub muth tho mi. Lat punnch liek ar cuub. Mi, Dajambat, ob Tuue Uzg! Mi wehh grushatat lat teoh vadokat!" (You scrawny puny little orc, you're no match for me. You punch like a baby. I, Dajambat, am a true orc! I will bash you to your death!) And he started bashing Rog'tar on his chest. Just then the horn for 'match over' was sounded and Dajambat was forced to cease his attacks. Now Rog'tar will be judged according to his performance, sure enough Dajambat passed without any hesistation but Rog'tar - because of his lack of strength - was called to be throwed out into the desert. At the voice of the judge, Gilbat teared as she didnt expect all that to happen. There was no other choice, the judges' decision is final. Some goblins went into the arena and carried Rog'tar off through the front gate of Krugmar and throws him out in the desert. He laid there motionless as he thought to himself,"Is this the end of my life?". He lift up his head a little to take a look at the desert around, there seems to be just sand and nothing else, how is he going to survive? Rog’tar laid on the hot sand, recuperating his strength. He closed his eyes to rest. A few hours later, he heard a voice calling him. ???:”Brudda, brudda, wak uph brudda.” (Brother, brother, wake up brother.) Rog’tar opened his eyes and sees another cub sitting beside him. He looked bruised too, a badly injured right arm and the right side of his face was sored. Shapend:”Ug, mi Shapend, wuoos be lat?” (Hi, I'm Shapend, whats your name?" Rog’tar:”Hmm, mi Rog’tar, mi nub be goad, mi ned rahst.” (Hmm, I am Rog'tar, I'm not feeling too well, I need to rest.) Shapend:”Mi helup Rog’tar rahst, mi woud be bak.” (Ok, I will help you rest, I will be back.) Shapend went away into the desert and Rog’tar continues to lie on the desert sand. The bright hot sun is just right above in the sky, marking noon and Shapend had been away for some time now. A moment later, Shapend returned with a few dead sheep and some long thin wood logs. Shapend:”Lok art wuht mi goat lat. Mi goad art kuafem, mi loub mahkem dings, goad arn ushful dings. Har, har! Mi mark tend heur so lat kan steay arn be savfe.” (Look at what I got you. I'm good at crafting, I love making things, good and useful things. Ha Ha! I made a tent here so you can stay in and stay safe.) Rog’tar:”Gruk brudda.” (Thank you brother.) As Rog’tar still lies there, still weak from all that injures, he watched Shapend skin the sheep with a piece of sharpened rock; no idea where he got that. He then started shaving off the hair and rubbing the skin straight, and then adding the sheep’s poo and its brain onto the skin and continued rubbing the skin until he feels that it is done. He would then lay the skin a little further out on the sand to let it dry and then goes back to skin the next sheep. He continued doing this until he got enough skins. Next, he took the wood logs and started scraping it, removing the bark and smoothing it. Then he put up the wood logs around Rog’tar, creating the shape of the tent. Once he thinks that the skin is ready, he would put it up over the wood logs. The tent was ready by dusk and Shapend used the remaining wood to build a fire and started roasting the sheep. Rog’tar was impressed, such skills. He was indeed skilled in crafting, probably hunting too. Shapend went into the tent after cooking and helped Rog’tar out to sit beside the fire. Rog’tar was feeling better now, able to move and the both of them had quite a feast. Lamb chop, mmmm. Dawn marks the second day out in the desert and Gilbat kept on looking out of the front gate hoping that Rog’tar will make it back alive. She would spend hours thinking of him and praying to the spirits for his safety. She had told neither Kular nor Ushtar about Rog’tar, she did not want them to worry, not wanting to see them breakdown and become depressed. Back out in the desert, Rog’tar and Shapend is awake and sitting in the tent. Rog’tar:”Lat tink we kan suurfive ouut hear?” (You think we are able to survive out here?) Shapend:”Mi tink we kan, we stmart arn ablu.” (I think we can, we are smart and able.) Rog’tar:”We migh suurfive, bud we kneed go blarg. We kneed be olf arn poof we butter.” (We might survive here but we need to go back home. We need to become stronger and proof to them that we are better.) Shapend:”Wud lat tink we do?” (What do you think we should do?) Rog’tar:”Lat tink we go klomp monstar, geater da kopse arn sho Elder we olf.” (I think we should kill some monsters, gather the corpse and show the Elders that we have become strong.) Shapend:”Dat goad, bud we kneed wapuun. Mi kan kuarf dem.” (That sounds good but we will need weapons. I can craft them.) So off they went to find a cave to get some stones. They searched around in the desert and finally found one, quite far away to the south. They ventured in with some wooden pickaxes they made beforehand and started mining out some stones. They also found some coal and Shapend used them to craft some torches and they went deeper into the cave. A cold breeze blew out from the depths and some distant screeching sounds can be heard. They gathered enough stones after a few hours of mining and they also killed a couple of zombies to add to the corpse pile. They returned to their tent before the sun sets and Shapend crafted the weapons, prepare for the night; they will be killing as many as they can. Please Play Music: The sun sets with a bright orange, lighting up the sky like fire in crimson blood. Rog’tar and Shapend stayed in the tent, waiting for the monsters to appear. As soon as they can hear them outside, they grabbed their weapons and rushed outside. Rog’tar:”Glazug Votar!” (For the hunt!) That shout alerted all the monsters and they charged at the both of them. Bash, slash, cleave, wack, stomp, they fought with all their might till sunrise, till the very last one was dead. They dragged the corpses and pilled them up together. Rog’tar:”Et be nat enugh, we kneed moar, we kneed be olfs.” (This is not enough, we need more, we need to be stronger.) So the both of them continued like that out in the desert, killing monsters every night and gathering food and resources in the day. They would only rest when they had enough for a day. A few weeks went passed and Gilbat still waitings for Rog’tar, she feared his death. She began questioning the vision she had, whether she was wrong in interpretation or it was just her imagination. She begun losing hope and started believing that Rog’tar died in the desert. Not many other orcs were talking about those cubs that were thrown out. It was all an honour issue but Gilbat could imagine the pain hidden away in the Elders and those who hoped for the cubs. The orcs view the younger generation as treasure and the future; they treat their cubs well and would always ensure that they are strong enough to survive even by their own. But to throw the cubs out is indeed a harsh training for them, it is not a punishment. If the cubs were not able to survive, they would just be left out of the league. This is the orcs harsh tradition and culture, to always keep up the fierce and feared reputation. They are Orcs. Please Play Music: One early morning as Gilbat was once again staring out into the desert, she saw two figures in the distance and they were dragging a huge pile of something behind. As they came closer, the guards guarding the front gate armed their weapons. No one had any idea what that was coming towards them because of the glaring sun. As the two figures came even closer, it was clearer to see that the huge pile was a pile of corpse! The guards raised their weapons; “Lok’tar (get ready)” says one of them. It was a hideous sight, the blood and the gore and the pile like that. As the two figures stop in front of the gate, the guards were surprised. Rog’tar and Shapend brought back trophies, countless number of monster corpse. All the Elders were gathered to the front gate as the two of them entered. One of the elders:”Lat donn weil, lat pas da tase. Lat nohw be carll da truu urg! Hoowah!” (You have done well, you have passed the test. You will now be called a true orc! Hoorah!) And the entire crowd cheered. A feast was made to celebrate their success; everyone was glad and fascinated by their story, of what they did and how they helped each other. Kular and Ushtar rejoiced at meeting Rog’tar once again, they were relieved knowing that Rog’tar was safe after all that he had been through. Years passed as Rog’tar continues to grow and become much stronger, he joined the military and became one of their scouts. He is under the authority of one of the Big Bosses, Angath the leader of the pack of the scout division. Although Rog’tar joined the military, he still had the chance to do what he loves doing; working in the farm. He would go home and help his parents in their work whenever he could. Gilbat continues to watch over and care for the family, as she watches Rog’tar grow, she could feel it strongly that her vision was right. When Rog’tar was fifty five, that was when everything changed. There was a report from a border petrol guard that a band of bandits have gathered just outside the border of the War Nation. The bandits called themselves ‘Grimore heart’. As rumours have it, this group of bandits has been growing very strong lately; they would go around Asulon gathering other bands of bandits to join their cause. Their numbers increase everyday and it was reported that the humans are starting to fear them because of the troubles that they are causing. They had also started harassing the dwarves and their next target was the orcs. Some people say that they are no ordinary bandits; they had some sort of magic that made them frightening, only a few had survived their attacks but none had been able to explain what kind of magic it was. Sorceress had said that it could be some ancient forbidden magic but that kind of magic had long lost. But of all these chaos, no one knew why the bandits were raiding different nations with such aggression; they did not pillage the towns nor did they loot treasures, all they did was cause chaos, burned down a few farm houses and killed many people. Grimoire Heart's Plan A step one: Uploaded with ImageShack.us The Grimoire Heart had already devised a plan to take down Krugmar. Knowing that the orcs are the most feared warriors of the land, they wanted to destroy them first to strike fear upon the other nations. First, a distraction attempt on the orcs to get their attention and to show off a little of the magic they had. So, Kaiden Growteeth the leader of Grimoire Heart, dispatched a band of five to infiltrate Krugmar. At night fall, these five bandits made their move, they sneaked pass all the guards patrolling the borders to the western side of Krugmar where all the farms are. With some ropes and hooks they scaled the cliffs that walled Krugmar. The shadow of the night helped camouflage and allowed them to remain hidden from sight as they made their way up to the peak. Once at the peak, they start their attack; all they wanted was the orcs’ attention. The five of them sat down in a circle and one of them pulled out a scroll. He unrolled the scroll and laid it down right in the centre of where they were seated. They then start to chant and a ritual star appeared at where they were seated. The star glowed green and became even brighter as they continued chanting. After a while, the sky started to change and dark clouds formed circling above in the sky with roaring thunder and strong wind started blowing around. The orcs woke up from their sleep and came out of their tents; the guards stared into the sky, fascinated at the sight of it. One of the elder shamans recognised that magic and he started shouting at the top of his voice, calling everyone to get to safety as he make his way to the Great Hall to inform the Rex. Gilbat stood in silence and shock, that look of the sky and the sound of the roaring thunder was exactly what she saw in her vision. “Rog’tar obde Zi’Kragor”, Gilbat spoke to herself which meant “Guardian of the Black Fang or Guardian of Kragmar”. In the next few minutes, the Rex came out of the Great Hall and sounded the horn for all the guards to gather to him. He issued a search around Krugmar for the spell casters and gave them the permission to kill at sight but before the guards can carry out the orders, bright green lightning strike continuously from the sky onto the farms and a fire broke out. The elder shaman prompted to the Rex that the spell casters was near the farms and the Rex ordered some of the guards to search the area. He then called out one of the scout teams to also locate the spell casters and to give chase if any was to flee. Angath’s scout team was chosen and Rog’tar was on his team. Please Play Music: The ritual star was glowing as bright as the sun and the guards could see them at once from afar. “We have been spotted”, said one of the bandits, “then our work here is done”, replied another. As one of them took out a match to burn the scroll, the rest started fleeing. They left the cliff and scaled down the way they came up from before any guard could reach them. Although the ritual had stopped and the scrolled burned, the sky was still raging, who knows how long the effect is going to last. Just then, Angath signalled for his team to sky parachute – thanks to the technology of the goblins – and they jumped off the cliff without fear and chased after the bandits. “We must not return fire if they start to attack us,” said one of the bandits, “We must lure them into our camp alive, Kaiden wants them alive”, he continued as they dashed through the sands heading straight towards Gijak Pulgoruz (Blood Forest) southwest of Kragmar, to where their camp was. The parachute orcs pulled out their bows and started shooting at the bandits. It was rather difficult to shoot because of the wind draft and that raging storm and they are already having trouble controlling their flight. The bandits were swift and could dodge the arrows very well. Still, the relentless barrage of arrows from the seven of them shot one of the bandits. The orcs landed on the desert sand and continued on chasing. When they ran pass that bandit that was shot, every one of them stomped on him, killing him. Up and down on the desert dune, the orcs did not stop firing for a single moment and the bandits just kept on running. A second bandit was shot down and sure enough the orcs did the same, making sure that he is dead. Three more bandits to kill but the orcs were chasing blindly, they had no idea where they are heading. When the bandits got into the forest, they split up and continued fleeing into the dark forest. They had got traps laid up, ready to capture the orcs. Angath signalled with his right hand and called for a two, two, three split. Angath and Rog’tar and another chased after one. They sprint through the forest but they could not take a clear shot, the bandit was dodgy and the trees were blocking. The bandit jumped over and across a well of water and Angath followed behind with the other orc, but Rog’tar accidentally slipped and fell into the pool. “Dis be ambearashsin”, Rog’tar told himself. He was left behind. He then found a way out of the pool and continued on to catch up. As he ran further into the forest he could see lights and out of a sudden he heard people talking and cheering. Rog’tar held back his footsteps and hid himself behind a tree. Please Play Music: It was a trap and Rog’tar could see the bandits with torches and cheering because they were successful in capturing the orcs. Angath was in one net and the other orc in another. At that moment, Rog’tar held his breath, thinking that the rest must have been captured also. He will have to stay out of sight and find a way to save them. He also overheard some of the bandits saying that they will be used on some ritual to cast a spell and destroy Krugmar. Rog’tar knew that it would be difficult to do it on his own, but he had no choice. It will be too late if he goes back to Krugmar and calls for backup. So he tailed the bandits as they march back to their camp. Upon reaching Grimoire Heart, Rog’tar stay a distance away hiding in the bushes and observed. The four other orcs was also brought in. Grimoire heart’s camp was rather crude, wooden pike fences and wooden towers. Their tents were all made of leather and skin. The whole orc horde would have tore this whole place down in just a second if they were here. Rog’tar then went around a little and spotted a spot on the fences where he could breakthrough easily. He went up to it and broke it with less effort, the bandits were gathered in the middle of the camp and making a lot of noises which aided Rog’tar in being stealthy. Rog’tar moved in the shadows and spotted a few bandits patrolling around. One of them was walking towards Rog’tar, and as he passes by Rog’tar grabbed that bandit by his mouth and crashed it. He moved on little by little, closing in to where all the bandits had gathered. A man dressed in a long robe and a high hat, holding a staff on his right hand and a book on his left stood on the balcony of the courthouse facing the crowd and addressed them. Kaiser:”Tonight will be the night, the night where we have all been waiting for. The night of our liberty and our salvation. The night where we become a nation”! *Crowd cheers wildly* Kaiser:”For a long time we’ve been outcasts and people spit on us. We have been looked down upon and the world hates us. Because we are thieves, murderers, criminals but why? Why are we so? Is it not all because of them?! Because they despised us when we begged on the streets, because they would not listen to our part of the story when there is a crime, because they would not pay us our wage so we had to steal! The society has made us a sore to their eyes but in our eyes they are a sore to us! They will pay for all the things they did to us! For we will rise! We will rise and become the most feared nation of all history of Aegis and Asulon!” *Crowd cheers even more wildly* Kaiser:”This night, I, Kaiser Growteeth, will cast a spell no one has ever seen, for I am the master of all magic and I will destroy the strongest of all strongest. The War Urg Nation, the orcs of Asulon will be wiped from history this very night! And all of Asulon will fear!” Please Play Music: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MxiK_LBh8QE&feature=BFa&list=PL8A4598B1EFE196F3 After he ended the speech, Kaiser turned around and placed some power on the fire brazier behind him and he started chanting. The bandits dragged the six orcs in their nets and placed them in front of the courthouse, just right beneath the balcony. As Kaiser was chanting, the souls of the six orcs were absorbed into the brazier. Rog’tar had to move fast, he quickly ran to the back of the courthouse and climbed up to the balcony while the bandits were all distracted by the spell casting. Rog’tar looked down as he was climbing, if he falls, he will fall all the way down the cliff and onto the forest below, what a scary sight. He took up his courage and continued climbing. When he got onto the balcony he drew his axe and yelled at the top of his voice, “Glazug Votar!” Without a second thought he ran straight up to Kaiser and swung his axe down at him. Kaiser blocked the attack with his staff and muttered some words and out came fire from his mouth. Rog’tar swiped the flames off his chest and continued attacking Kaiser. The bandits were furious and they started shooting arrows onto the balcony, some also made their way up onto the balcony. Rog’tar was raging; his strength was no match for the bandits. They tried to pin him down but with a violent swing, he threw the bandits off the balcony. Kaiser drew out a dagger and stabbed Rog’tar on the chest. At that moment Rog’tar grabbed Kaiser and pinned him on the floor. The bandits were still coming in and Rog’tar knew he would die if the bandits kept on attacking. He knew he had to kill Kaiser if not the spell would still continue but the bandits were very protective of Kaiser; they were pushing Rog’tar away trying to separate Rog’tar from Kaiser; slashing him with their swords and bashing him with their shields. Rog’tar thought to himself, “Mi wud nub mark it, mi kneed tth du sumtin guik tth klomp Khaisar”. Without any next thought, he did a last violent swing and grabbed Kaiser with his arms and ran towards the cliff behind and jumped. As he jump, he bash Kaiser a few times and grabbed him to be beneath him, so that Kaiser will be the first to hit impact; to make sure Kaiser will die. The fire brazier exploded with a giant flame and consumed everything in the camp. The flame was so huge that even the orcs back in Krugmar could see it. And the cliff broke and the rocks fell all over the forest below. Whatever happened to Rog’tar, nobody knows. The orcs had told me that they believe Rog’tar is still alive. It has already been 5 years since that incident. Could Rog’tar still be alive? Or is he dead, buried beneath the rocks? The orcs did tried searching for Angath and his team but to no result. End Written by Anonymous Traveller What exactly happened then? Is Rog'tar dead? No, because I met him. Please Play Music: I myself am a travelling hunter; I left home and started this business of hunting to find the biggest hunt. I have been to many places and met many people, more than I could count. I was told by a fellow hunter friend that Asulon has many intriguing animals and beasts. So I went with him to venture in Asulon for hunt and business. We decided to split up in Asulon to go as our own interest leads. It was a fine day for hunting and I was going through my usual routine wandering around in the forest in search for animals. I came to the foot of a range of cliffs and was fascinated by its beauty, so I strolled along the bottom of the cliff admiring it. But after walking a distance, I saw this giant hole as if made by some explosion at the top of the cliff. There were giant boulders all over the place and it was really messy. I was curious so I started loitering around, as though trying to figure out what had happened. While I was sauntering around, I saw some green among the grey rocks. I went closer to examine it and realised that it was an arm of an orc. The rocks covering the orc seemed loose so I tried to realise it. There I found an orc laying unconscious. I took him back to my hut but it was quite a struggle. For a mere man like me, to carry an orc almost two times your size and four times your weight is a killer. Anyhow, I made it back and tended to his wounds. I had no idea when will he ever wake up or will he even wake up, but I know that he is surely a citizen of this land and could help me in my hunt. He was still breathing so I attended to him every day; making sure that he stays alive, hoping that he will one day wake up. After about four months, he finally woke up. I tried to get him to help me in my hunt but all he did was shook his head. He could not remember a thing, probably lost his memories on that accident. He only told me that his name is Rog’tar. As the days passes by, I could see that he is extremely skilled in farming and rearing, he even started a small farm beside my hut but actually he had kind of turned my hut into a small farm house. He himself was also amazed at how he could work the farm so well and he had no idea why was he enjoying so much about farming. Please Play Music: Rog’tar and I visited one of the cities in Asulon one day and found this book in an old bookstore. I read and found Rog’tar’s name in it. I told him to read and see if he could remember anything. At that moment he began remembering about his parents, Kular and Ushtar, and how he would often help them in the farm. I told him that I will buy the book for him so that he could read if more often and try to remember who he was. I also encouraged him to go back to the War Nation but he declined and told me that he was not ready. I had been five years since I last met Rog’tar, I had already left Asulon to continue travelling with my friend and I have left my house there for him to stay in. I really hope that Rog’tar would choose to go back to where he truly belonged. - Lydia’s diary What is your Character's ambitions?: Rog'tar wants to live a life of his own, yet there is a little flame in his heart that tells him to try to remember who he was. He knows that he is an orc yet now he chooses to live not like an orc. He fears his past though he knew that he will have to face it one day. What is your character’s favorite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc): Rog'tar loves farming, he love it so much that he even named his iron hoe "Adam". He is also quite fascinated at himself at how he wielded the axe and bow. There was one time, a group of zombies attacked his house at night. He was going to fight them off with Adam but took and axe instead. He could chop them off fairly quickly. Plus the incredible strength of an orc, he bashed all the orcs away. Just then, he spotted some creepers coming towards him. He ran into the house and took the bow that Lydia gave Rog'tar as a gift, and shot the creepers with quite good accuracy. It is true that Rog'tar isnt as good as he was before but at least good enough to defend himself. What is one of your Character's most skilled talents? Taking care of animals and plowing the ground for food. He is a natural. Rog'tar has a sharp sense of smell due to the reason that he often smell his products out for their quality. And having been living out in the forest alone all these while, he has developed a habit of being alert at all times. A screenshot of your skin (must be in proper format): Front View: Uploaded with ImageShack.us Back View: Uploaded with ImageShack.us Other Information about your Character: Because Rog'tar had stayed with Lydia for a few years, he is quite accustomed in speaking a little bit clearer than most orcs. He also had forgotten much of "The Blah". Rog'tar behaves more like a human that an orc, which is unusual to the residence of Asulon. Also, being an orc, Rog'tar could not hold back his bloodlust. He has struggled with it, trying to forget his past and live normally like a human. He just cannot change who is really is. Rog'tar can be quite timid when there is trouble but if the trouble is going to harm those that he love, he will become aggressive out of a sudden and fight till his death to protect it. Open-Response-Questions Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond? My oh my, two warriors and they look so strong. Can I actually take them down? I am no warrior although the book says I was but what can I do with Adam? Plow their face and grow some wheat? Plus the fact that it is none of my business. I would just get myself killed for being weak if I would help him. And Rog'tar walks the other direction, cowering in fear. He feels sorry that he is timid. Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response? Rog'tar would return the greeting politely and then ask to view the merchant's products. He would be interested if there is anything related to farming such as seeds and hoes. If there is nothing interesting, Rog'tar might not just leave the shop because he feels a little embarrassed for being such a fuss and made the merchant take out almost everything he is selling to show them to Rog'tar. He would randomly buy something, probably the cheapest item on the list even if he does not need it and then leave the shop with a sigh of relief. Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?: "Its not my house, I shall not enter or do anything to it." And again, out of fear and timidity, he would quickly walk away from the house and continue on wherever he is going. If he sense danger, he would pick up his feet and run like a wild goose fleeing from a wolf. Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond? Rog'tar would ask for food and ask if he could do anything to get more food if the traders offers a price. Since being an orc, he would need to eat alot and because he is hungry, he would really need alot more food. So he might just end up staying at the trading camp consuming all that he can eat until his tummy is satisfied. You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?: Rog'tar would ask for more information about the bandits from the guards. Well, the fact that the bandits might hurt anyone from this town that he has been staying, that sudden rush of adrenaline and courage will fuel him to fight the bandits and make sure that none of them survive; just like a true orc would. Lok'tar Ogar!
  2. In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is: Meta-Gaming is the knowledge of the player VS the knowledge of the in-game character. For example, an Ogre is made to have low IQ in a particular game but the player using that Ogre can think beyond the abilities of the Ogre. So, this Ogre will be seen extremely clever by players in the game. If so could you link us to your last Application?: No, this is my first Application. Have you posted this application on our minecraft forum thread yet? If not, just finish it up on here and then copy + paste is over there. (http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/832121-%E2%96%91%E2%96%92%E2%96%93-the-lord-of-the-craft-%E2%96%93%E2%96%92%E2%96%91-enter-the-world-of-asulon-o-f-f-i-c-i-a-l-l-y-t-h-e-n-o-1-r-p-s-e-r-v-e-r/): In-Character: Character Name: Korus Mikmalhal What Race are you?: Human What Sub-Race are you? (note, you aren’t required to have a sub-race): Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.): I was born in a land not of my own. Well at least my ancestors don't belong here. A war-torn land of a different dimension of where my ancestors are, homeland to my friends and family the Iinaians. This place is called "Inumakr" in the native language of the Iinaians, also known as "Inatorift" in English. War-torn, what are we fighting against? It is not a civil war, neither is it war against another country but war against a foreign evil that plagues the land in their wake. Inatorift was once a peaceful and beautiful place, florished with all kinds of wildlife and resources. Many people from all around came here to trade and establish. Until the Wraiths came destroying everything and ransaked the land. We were warned of their coming, but not well prepared. The Vikens were the first victims and many blamed them for the origin of the Wraiths in Hogh. The Vikens were a pure race, skilled in all kinds of white magic. They were healers and helpers to anyone that has need until a certain wizard of the high court became ambitious. He wanted to try something more than what they knew, he wanted more power and he discovered a way to unlimited magic; a portal that he created that leads to a place called Oblivion. It is of course a black magic. What he was doing was soon discovered but it was too late, the wizard was obesessed with the dark and corrupted by evil. The portal became a bridge for the two worlds and the Wraiths started marching through it. The scattered survivors started warning everyone they see as they travel away from Hogh. Now Hogh is as dark as it can be, a stronghold for the dead in our living world. But all these took place years before where I came in. My forefather, Ebele Afguh Saluk, an Assassin from Earth(where I truly belong), first step into Inatorift after an accident. He was after a group of Templars that acquired a powerful artifact, the Mist of Eden. It is an artifact capable of bending time and space to the wielder's desire. It can be used anywhere but only one place on Earth can unlock its full potential, the Great Pyramids. The Templars wanted to use this artifact to control all mankind and to bring their method of 'peace'. And so Ebele chased after them to the pyramids and fought them there but an accident happened while fighting, the Mist of Eden broke and absorbed itself into its own power creating a wormhole. It sucked Ebele and his fellow Assassins and the Templars into it and landed in Inatorift. So this is where I come in, Ebele my forefather met the Iinaians and learned about this place so decided to stay to help. For many years, Ebele and his fellow Assassins fought the Wraiths with the Iinaians and ventured around Inatorift, this is where Ebele discovered something, something dire and beneficial. An artifact of Eden exist in Inatorift. Could it be that those that came before were here too? That people like Minerva were here? Nevertheless, Ebele knew very well the powers that they could gain from a artifact of Eden so he started to search. Following clues after clues and solving puzzles after puzzles, hoping that the Wraiths will not get there first. Well, Ebele was successful in retrieving the artifact and drove back the Wraiths using it. He then trapped them in Hogh but recently, their strength has been increasing. No one knows why or how but the Wraiths are free again. I grew up in Estoria, an Assassin city in Inatorift. I was born into the Brotherhood, both my parents are Assassins. They died defending Estoria when I was fifteen during Olmuvak's Raid twelve years ago. It was horrifiying, it was my first time seeing a warlord of the Wraiths, I shall not describe it for it pains me by just remembering it. As mentor of the Brotherhood, I decided that we need more help against the Wraiths. So I started to travel, searching for answers and people who would fight against this evil before it purges the world. But in my travels I have discovered that many places are filled with suffering, it is either war or some evil business. No one had the strength to help others for they are already overwhelmed themselves. It was when I was in a little town called Norwin. A certain man told me that he was from Asulon, a land full of riches and skilled warriors that can aid me in my fight against the Wraiths. It was just a ship ride away so I decided to make my way to Asulon but I did not expect to discover the same story here, evil reigns. Yes, that man lied to me but he was probably looking for people to aid his land too? And I would maybe find some people willing to aid me against the Wraiths. Nevertheless, my aim now is to extinguish whatever evil that lurks. I have got nothing to lose anyways. What is your Character's ambitions?: To aid anyone in need and to protect the innocent. To venture throughout Asulon and search for capable warriors willing to aid Inatorift. I will also take part in aiding this broken land against this evil, if I wouldn't evil will still appear anywhere. Everyone needs help. What is your character’s favorite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc): Growing up as an Assassin, I was taught and trained to use any thing as a weapon but during my travels and the many battles that I've been through, I have developed my own preference. An axe or tomahawk strong enough to hack through armor and a shield will be useful if it is available. A crossbow or bow will help me snipe down targets at range and of course my pair of dual blades for fast assassinations. I also prefer to be lightly armored but I have come to realise that no light armor is as good as the those made by the Brotherhood. The light armors are too weak to defend against much attacks and not durable enough. So I had no choice but to adapt myself in using at least iron plated armor. What is one of your Character's most skilled talents? Patience is usually my key to killing my targets, but I am also capable when speed is required. Gifted with the Eagle Vision, I am keen to my surroundings. One other thing that I would always do is to search every corner, nothing leaves my sight. A screenshot of your skin (must be in proper format): Other Information about your Character: I abide to my Creed,"Nothing is true, everything is permitted". The Creed does not allow us to do as we will but it helps us to view the world as it is. Everyone has their choices and my choice is to stop injustice. Open-Response-Questions Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond? I would go nearer but stay our of sight. Listen to their conversation, and if I confirm that the two warriors are indeed bringing harm to the halfling, I would strike from behind their backs and help the halfling. I would kill the warriors if I have to. Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response? If I am shopping for goods I will take a look at what he has, if not I would just pass by without saying a word. Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?: I would first look around the hut and make sure it is safe and then loot the items. If it is not safe, I will flee at once, but if I am spotted and attacked I will try to eliminate the threat. Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond? I would greet them also and see how the conversation goes. I will aim to ask questions with hidden intentions of trying to find out who they are. If they are bandits or of those sort, I will not stay my blade. It would be nice too if they are traders and buy some food from them. You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?: I will listen to whatever instructions the leader has to give and then aid them in battling the bandits. I will try to keep every ally alive.
