Their names were Fronhan, Sattir, and Mariel. My father, whose name was Farnir, was a leather smith and he made and sold leather armor and clothing. My father taut me the skills he uses to craft armor as well as teaching me how to hunt using a bow. Fronhan got a job defending travelers and Sattir became a Merchant. I had not yet decided what I wanted to become so I helped my dad in his leather shop. One day one of my brothers, Fronhan ,was killed while defending a group of traders against bandits. When I heard of this news I was enraged and I grabbed my bow and ran to the place he was killed. I searched the area for three days and couldn’t find which direction the bandits had headed. Disappointed, I headed back home and decided I would find the people who killed my brother. A Town Guardsman taut me how to use a sword and heavy armor. I attempted to get my other brother to help me in my quest but he told me he would be unable to fight. I asked around inside the town until I found a man who said he had some information on the bandits who killed my brother. He said he wouldn’t tell me anything until I paid him so I gave him some of my remaining money. He told me that the bandits had gone to the wilderness around the Kingdom of Renatus to store what they had stolen. After hearing this I bought some food and a map and headed off in the direction of Renatus. Once I arrived in the town I saw a bunch of people crowded around a board with papers nailed to it. One of them was offering money in exchange for help in fighting a group of bandits camping by one of the roads outside the town. I realized that these might be the same bandits that I was looking for so I volunteered to help in the upcoming fight. The next morning the town militia gathered to attack the bandits. Half of us were to walk down the road and get the bandits attention while the other half would circle behind the bandit camp. I was assigned to the group that would come up behind the bandits. Both groups left at the same time and we traveled down the road. About 15 minutes later my group split off from the rest and headed into the forest. After a few more minutes we were told to halt and to duck into the bushes until the command was given. We started to hear shouting then a bugle was blown and we were ordered to rush forward. We ran into the bandit camp and completely surprised them. The bandits had just started engaging the other group when we came up behind them. I quickly pulled out my bow and fired and arrow at the closest bandits. He fell over in a shriek of pain. I switched to my sword because the fighting became to close for a bow. I aided one of the town guard to take down another bandit but just as we had killed him a sword flashed behind me and took down the guardsman. I turned around to face this new opponent but I realized that something was different about him. He seemed to be more skilled then the rest of the bandits and he wielded a long sword. The bandit swung his sword again and I jumped out of the way. I attempted to slash at him with my sword but he easily blocked it. I was at a major disadvantage as my opponents sword had a much farther reach then mine. I called out for help but my shouts were drowned out by the sounds of battle. A dodged another swing from his sword and I decided that I wouldn’t be able to defeat him using my short sword. I backed away a few steps ,dropped my sword, and pulled out my bow. The bandit realized what I was doing and lunged towards me but it was already to late. I knocked and fired an arrow at almost point-blank range directly into the bandits skull. His dead body fell over onto me and I pushed it aside. Around me the sounds of battle was fading away as the towns people emerged victorious. I examined the bandits long sword and found a small engraving on its hilt which said long claw. I remembered that this was the name of my brothers sword so these must’ve been the same bandits that killed him. I took the sword and headed home without returning to the town for payment. I had achieved everything that I had some there for and didn’t really want the money. Once I arrived home I placed my brothers sword (originally my fathers) above the fireplace were it belonged. My father told me that I had earned the privilege to use the sword but I decided it would be better off keeping it here. I am currently 34, 1 Year after this event happened. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond? “I’m going to have to ask you to stop.” Warriors: “Why should we?” “I’m Sure I could find a few others nearby who would not like what you are doing.” Warriors: “Fine, he can keep his money” “If this happens again you wont be let off so easily” Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response? “Id like to see what you have for sale, and perhaps make a trade” Merchant: “I have some leather armor and some iron bars.” “How much is the leather armor?” Merchant: “Ill give you the full set for 720 Minas.” “How about 680?” Merchant: “700?” “Deal, ill be sure to shop here again.” Merchant: “Come here often enough and ill have a discount for you.” “Ok, Thanks” Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?: I would take both the gold bars and sword and wrap them in a package and place them back in the chest. Then I’d put some random things on top of the package so it looks like it’s a chest filled with junk. Just to make sure the owner doesn’t think they’ve been stolen id place a note on one of the walls that says “They are safe”. I would write a longer explanation but I fear that someone else might read it then realize what was actually in the chest. Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you in the common tongue, how do you respond? “Please help I’m starving, Ill pay any reasonable price for some food and temporary shelter” Trader: “How do we know that we could trust you?” “Do I look like I could betray you? Its hard enough just to stay standing. Take my money now if you want.” Trader: “That wont be necessary, follow me and ill get you some food.” You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?: “I’d like to help out in defeating the bandits” Guardsman: “Ok, we will be attacking in 1 hour. You will be paid after the battle.” “Anything I should bring?” Guardsman: “A good set of armor and some type of weapon.” “Will do” (After purchasing some armor from a nearby merchant Galmar returns to the assembled militia) “I’m Ready, when do we head out?” Guardsman: “Right now, we were just waiting for you to return.” “Ok, what is our strategy for the battle?” Guardsman: “We charge in there and make sure those bandits don’t ever return again” “ That’s all? Shouldn’t we have a plan incase something were to go wrong?” Guardsman: “We don’t expect the Bandits to put up much of a fight, we outnumber them two to one.” “So why bother recruiting all these people?” Guardsman: “To avoid risk. Our town rather pay then loose some of its people” “Alright lets go then.” (The town militia march to the bandit camp) “Looks like you were right, all of the bandits are either running or throwing down their weapons. But this doesn’t solve the problem, they could always just come back” Guardsman: “Then we’ll just scare them away again.” “I don’t think that’s going to work every time” Guardsman: “Sure it will, look how easily we won this battle. Now we just head back to town and collect our pay.” (Galmar collects his pay and leaves the town knowing that they hadn’t actually done anything to stop the bandits. So, he travels somewhere were he could actually make a difference. )

At the age of 19 I joined a group of adventurers. After traveling with them for a while I learned how to survive in the wild and to use a sword. Later, I realized that they started robbing citizens from my own kingdom. I attempted to alert the town guard but the group of adventurers (now Bandits) captured me and tied me to a tree. I was tied to the tree for about a day and a half when a dark skinned elf came by and released me. He said he would give me shelter and food in exchange for work. Having no were else to go I decided to follow the elf. He put me in a small room and gave me a bit of food, 15 minutes later he came back and told me it was time to pay off my debt to him. I worked for 20 days straight with little rest, when I tried to question the elf about when I would be done working he simply said soon. After five more days of this, I encountered a man who was also working. After a very short conversation (the elves did not let us talk much) I realized that this work was little better then slavery. Since I had never tried to escape before the elf didn’t bother to lock my room door so that night I decided to sneak out. I got outside of the room without anyone noticing, then I walked down a dark hallway to a large open room. There were two elfves talking at the other side of the rooms I had to crouch down to avoid being seen. At the end of the open room I found a window that wasn’t barred shut. I jumped through and hit the ground four feet below but the sound of me falling alerted the elfs to my presence. I began to run through the forest and I could hear people shouting behind me. I ran for almost 2 hours until I could barely walk. I collapsed into the dirt and fell asleep. The next day I awoke to see a group of merchants traveling on a nearby road. I stood up and felt A sharp pain in my leg. I must’ve hurt it while running last night. I limped over to the merchants and called out to them. They came over to me and I told them what had happened. I offered them money to help me but I realized that either the elves or the bandits had taken it all. They told me that they would help me anyway and I rode with them back to Salvus. I am currently 26, about 4-5 years after this happened (I don’t remember exactly when I was captured). After traveling with them for awhile I learned how to survive in the wild and to use a bow and sword. But I left the group when I realized that they started robbing citizens from my own kingdom. Now I’m collection resources to visit the kingdoms of the world and help out others when needed. My first stop will be to visit my kingdoms capital, Solace, to buy supplies and sell any unwanted materials. If I find a chest with valuables in it I’m more then likely going to take some unless its someone allied. I am friendly to anyone in or allied with the town that I join but anyone else I may attack if they get to close. I am currently 29 and can sometimes be mistaken as a bandit as my outfit resembles one. I have been known to not talk much as I only say things when they need to be said and I dislike long pointless conversations.
