Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.): The start of Maglor Elendils tale is one of sorrow, poverty and hardships, however, let me begin and tell you the tale of the great Maglor Elendil~
Upon his birth into a poor, working class family Maglor was the youngest child, his brothers already old enough to go to work with their father as a lumberjack. Maglor was always stuck at home with his mother and grandmother whilst his father and brothers were out working, trying to support the family and put food on the table. Not having enough money to attend school Maglor would borrow books from the others that lived in his small slum of a village and tried to teach himself to read and write. Maglor always wanted to become a nobleman so that if he ever had a family they wouldn’t be forced to live in the great poverty he did.
Once Maglor was old enough to work, he, like the rest of the males of the family went off to become a lumberjack, cutting down giant trees older than Maglor himself was. Despite working until late hours of the day Maglor still tried to teach himself how to read write and act as if he wasn’t from a slum and that he was a respectable citizen of Asulon. Late one evening, hours after the sun had set, whilst working in the great forest chopping down the wood as requested, Maglor felt strange as if something bad was about to happen, but he just shrugged to himself and continued hacking away at the mighty birch and pine trees. After another three trees had been cut, Maglor felt as if someone was watching him and he could hear the odd rustling of dead leaves or the odd twig snapping, again, Maglor just shrugged to himself once more. After the fourth tree fell to the ground, Maglor heard a mad rustling of leaves and saw huge shadows moving closer, he grabbed his axe and shouted out to his brothers and father “Father, Brothers, there is someone in the forest! Help!” Upon hearing the shout his father and three brothers ran to Maglor also seeing the shadows. After a moment or two, four hooded figures appeared all armed with iron blades. The hooded figures asked Maglor, his father and his brothers to drop their axes and hand over their valuables and they could walk away unharmed. Angered by the hooded figures request the oldest brother, Amdor charged at the figure making the requests, but before Amdor could reach him, another of the hooded figures had threw a dagger into his chest, killing him instantly. The four hooded figures ran scared that the family would attack them.
A week after the death of Amdor, Maglor felt sorrowful he hated living in the slums with the memories of his brother haunting him endlessly he decided that he would fake his death and leave home, he was going to try and make a name for himself.
Another week has passed and Maglor brought a hog from the local butcher, he intended to kill the hog and spread its blood about his room to make it look as if he had been killed and taken away. Maglor returned home, taking the hog with him up to his room where he executed his plan. Maglor grabbed his woodcutting axe, his grandfather’s antique blade, some food and his favourite book. Maglor was free to become whatever he wanted.
And so, that is the tale of how Maglor set out into the lands of Asulon, how will the tale end? Well.. that is yet to be decided~
