What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?:
I have been on many roleplaying servers and have enjoyed them very much.
In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is:
Meta-Gaming is where someone was to use something that wouldn't really happen to altar the outcome of something in-game such as: seeing a name through the wall, going round and killing them... Not cool! It pretty much ruins the rroleplaying experience!
In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Gaming is:
Power gaming is where someone is to over power his character in such a way that disables another player to play his role. Here's an example: Joe jumped off the tower and landed behind Bill, he drew his sword and stabbed him through the back leaving him in a gory heap... Not cool! Something more suitable would be: Joe fell of the tower, helplessly falling to his doom. He hit the floor with a bone breaking 'thud' and lie in excruciating pain on the cobbled path. Bob turned around, saw the struggling man and stabbed him in the stomach with his blood-tipped sword. There something realistic ,to an extent, happens.

I am Akrios LaVinada
What Race are you?:
Dwarf
What Sub-Race are you? (note, you aren’t required to have a sub-race):
Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):
I was brought up in a large family. 16 people in a small wooden house was what I grew up with. I was the youngest for a few years, but my Mother and Father, despite having 12 kids already, had 2 more. I learnt to stand my ground whilst in the family and I thought the world was just a place to get into trouble, get drunk, take drugs, cause havoc, and hide until the guards got bored of searching for you, which, when your family are notorious criminals, wasn't easy.
My family was a wreck. We were in massive debts with several Ork clans and bandits, who threatened our lives if the cost wasn't paid off. We were forced to work our butts off trying to get jobs, which also wasn't easy when people grimace at the sound of your surname. We worked 16 hours a day until we finally paid off the debts, but the bandits wouldn't leave us alone, they wanted more. They wanted us as slaves for them as revenge for my brother, Karkius, murdering one of their bandits. We refused. They raided our home, beat us down, I saw my brothers get beaten to death, but I had run away by then. I was hiding behind a tree watching the slaughter. When I heard the bandits come out I ran. I ran for days, never looking back. I found a road and followed it, but passed out whilst on it.
When Riokarr found me I was unconscious, he wondered if I was dead, but he took me in and at the age of 13 he raised me just like a son. I was 19 when I witnessed yet another slaughter. The bandits had found me. 6 years it was since I lost my family and it happened all over again. They still wanted revenge, upon all of my family. My new family fell before me but this time I stood up for myself. I didn't want to carry on running, instead I wanted to fight, send them running. I was stupid, irresponsible, idiotic. I wanted to be a hero. Something that I wasn't. It was only when Dwarves came that I found my real identity. They fought off the bandits and helped me up. They told me something that changed my life.
I was always small. I had blue eyes and long silky brown hair. I thought my height was just something to do with the family but when I was told I was a Dwarf I realised that family wasn't the case. I wanted to know more, so I researched my real family, the LaVinadas, and found that they had given me away for safety reasons. I didn't feel too good about that, but I accepted it and carried on my life with the Dwarves...
I learnt to love beer! I grew a great beard and mining was a great talent of mine. I was finally happy with my life.
What is your Character's ambitions?:
My ambitions are to master skills in mining and finally take revenge upon the bandits. I always want to be able to teach younger Dwarves the art of mining and English literature.
What is one of your Character's most skilled talents?
Mining. I can find my ways around caves easily but have a bad habit of going too far and running into a lot of bad guys, which is where I am terrible! I cannot swing a sword to save my life. I am also quite good at talking to people and explaining things in different ways in which they can understand.

Open-Response-Questions
Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond?
I stand back at first, minding my business with armoured people, but my conscience can't take the thought of leaving a poor man robbed and in pain. After the attack I walk up to the man and offer assistance with packing up his belongings and getting to the place he needs to be. The man was obviously in pain and so took the opportunity of an assistant, and accepted my offer. As we got to his destination he handed me some of his food and told me where he was staying if I ever needed help. I thanked him as well, being polite, and walked off to see where it took me.
Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response?
I stand in front of the wares for a few minutes before looking at the well dressed man and saying 'You don't happen to sell food do you?' He looked back at me for a few seconds. He looked me in the eyes which forced me to put my hand behind my head and look away. Then he spun around and held a fresh loaf of bread in my face. My nose was in heaven but my stomach rumbled loudly. I stumbled on words to say and eventually said,'how much?' He looked in my eyes again and said,'a lot more than you have, son, now go before you start dribbling.' Offended I walked on looking at other stalls.
Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?:
I look around for any owners of the hut and see nothing. I swiftly run in, ****** the sword and leg it. I ran for about a minute before coming across a cow. I looked at the cow in a pitiful way and suddenly swung the sword at the cow. The cow stumbled backward but my sword caved in where I hit the cow. I swung again and missed. The sword flew out of my hands and into a nearby tree where it smashed. As I said before, I couldn't swing a sword to save my life.
Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond?
I walk up to the villagers brandishing a coin purse. I walk up to the tall man at the front of the little group of villagers and say,'Do you have any spare food or shelter which I could pay for?' They immediately looked offended and I walked back a little still holding the purse. I say,'I do apologise, it was not meant to come across in such a rude way. I feel we should start fresh. Hi I'm Akrios. I would be delighted to assist your village in any way possible.' The tall man, now looking less offended says,'Yes of course my good sir, we always could use helpers. I suppose you want a favour in return? A night stay? Food? You can have what you want, but' He looks at my coin purse,'for a price.' 'Of course,' I say and I hand him the coins whilst smiling. The tall man finally said,'Let me show you through the village, we have a lot to offer...' I walk off with the man happy with the outcome of the talk.
You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guards have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?:
Remembering the encounter with the cow, I decide to stay out of it, but I do wish the guards good luck. It would be an ideal way to get back at the badits but I am just not good enough with any weapon really. So I walk off again around the town looking for people to help...
