  2. Out-Of-Character Minecraft Account Name: peskyflea How old are you?: 16 Time-Zone/Country of Residence: GMT England Do you have a good grip on the English language/good grammar?: Yes, I do. Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: I am a small, 16 year old guy with brown hair. I like to play on computer games especially Minecraft but I also like going on my Xbox 360. How much time could you be on the server weekly?: Probably about 2 hours at the weekend and about 30mins during the week itself as I will be busy with school work most of the time. What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you: Becoming a character in a game and leaving all out of game things behind. It is like having a separate life in game. You control a character in a different world where nothing from the real world matters or effects the game. What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?: None, but I think that I will be good at it. In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is: Meta-Gaming is the act of using information that you gain out of character, that your in game character would not know, in game as your character. Like for instance the name plates above the Minecraft character. Your character in game would not know who the person was or that they were there until they could actually see them. If you see the nameplate when your character would not see the person and you use that information that would be meta-gaming. In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Emoting is: Power-emote is power gaming in emotes; as in, by not letting a character respond fairly to your actions. You have to let them respond as if not that would be power gaming and unfair. If this is done in emotes then that is power-emote. An example of power-emote would be *he stabs him through the back killing him instantly*. This does not allow the other player to respond and thus is power-emoting. What do you expect this server will be like?: I expect that this server will be lots of fun and I will be able to spend hours on it with my friends. I can’t wait to go on it. What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: I have been on my friends servers and the yogiverse once. I left them because my friends left and they became boring as no one, that I could interact with, was going on them. I am sure that this server will be different though. Have you read, understood, and agreed to the rules?: Yes, I have. Do you promise to abide by said rules, and laws? This includes the Server, Forum, and Teamspeak set Rules: Yes, I do. How did you hear about us?: It was recommended to me by friends. Have you previously made an Application? If so could you link us to your last Application?: No, this is my first application. He is the nephew of Baerich. He was born into the house of Bauldrfist. He was born into a world of destruction and chaos as the undead began to attack and he has developed a hatred for them as a result. In times of peace between conflict he would enjoy fishing with his father although their relationship gradually became strained and they broke apart and they did not speak for a long time; recently though they have met again and are now their relationship is getting stronger. Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond? I run over exclaiming “Hey! What are you doing? Can’t this be settled peacefully?” The warriors keep attacking the poor halfling. I draw my sword and turn to challenge the menacing warriors. One of them charges. I dodge his attack and then swing at his arm with my sword; it makes contact and tears a great gash across his wrist. He takes another swipe at me this time using his left hand to wield his sword. It makes contact with the right side of my torso and creates a nasty wound. Then by sheer chance, one of my returning blows catches the warrior and knocks him unconscious. The second, realising his fallen comrade’s fate and considering what might happen to him, drops his weapons to the ground and leaves the halfling alone. The halfling thanks me and then runs away. I continue on with my journey leaving behind the injured warrior who is now just coming to, groaning in agony. Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response? I reply “What have you to offer me?” “Some axes, fishing rods and a few chunks of coal but nothing else unless you want a broken sword” says the merchant. “ Could I have a fishing rod and some lumps of coal?”, I asked. “That will be 12 minas.”, expressed the merchant. “Have you heard anything from the soldiers from the North?”, I replied as I handed over the minas to him. “Unfortunately not.” “Oh well. Thank you for the items.”, I say. I walk on through Alras. Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?: I inspect the golden sword but then replace it back where it came from. Then I carry on, leaving everything as I found it. Later on I report it to my fellow Bauldrfists and let them do as they please with the place as it is no business of mine. Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond? I greet them and request if they have any food and water spare for a lost and tired traveller who appears to be lost. They hand over some bread and a bottle of water. I eat the bread before drinking the water. I thank them and enquire as to whereabouts I am. They reply that I am not far from the Sinati. They point me in the direction and I head off. One of them follows me and I turn to see them holding a sword about to strike. I draw mine in a matter of seconds, narrowly missing his first swipe. Then I counter strike and slice his right arm off leaving him open to attack. Then I re-sheath my sword and flee away to Sinati. They shout after me that I am a coward but I ignore their comments and carry on running. You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?: I go and join up with the town guard, offering a clever plan. I suggest that we wait till night and then ambush the unsuspecting bandits. My plan is well received and they act on it. I head out with the town guard and we begin to attack the bandits. I draw my sword and pick out one bandit from the rest; I challenge him to fight and he responds by attacking. I swing my sword, just missing his chest; he responds by slicing back clipping my arm. Blood spat from my wound temporarily blinding my assailant; I take the opportunity and stab him in the back piercing his lung. He dies slowly and painfully. Eventually, they are all defeated and we move back to the town triumphantly; I tend to my wound and after two weeks it has healed. Anything else you would like to say?: There is nothing else I would like to add.
