  1. The long day winds to an end as I make my way to my chair within my study. The soft plush padding embraces my worn body and gives reprieve to the brutal day of hard labor. I let out a slow breathe as a cool breeze blows through an open window gently kissing the sweat on my brow. A rustle of papers under a ingot of iron lay upon my desk awaiting my orders. The candle light flickers and dances upon the walls as the sun has finally retired for the night, the fire within the inglenook pops and cr...

      Lock 'eed Ironheart

pops and cracks. My eyes begin to follow the shadows and I begin to fall asleep. Deep thoughts run through my head like a herd of horses through the flowing grassy plains, my eyes barely open now I begin to recall the days work and begin to plan for tomorrows tidings. Should I bother going over the papers on the desk my eyes peer .... I return to deep thoughts. I can smell the ocean salt water through the window over the musk of my own body, I should get out of these garbs and clean up. I loo...

      Lock 'eed Ironheart

I look over to the door leading to the washroom, I sigh as the comfort of my study chair has chained my weary body in place. Another day, another stone placed upon thy foundation of life, so little time yet so much to do.

  2. ((So our old map is gone just like the many other towns of past. But I have learned from the past and had always copied our area. I have a saved world map of Auslon if anyone here wants a copy I'll break it down and zip it for you. Most of it is the Vale and Ironrock region real close to when the map was lost. One thing though to remember if you get a copy is the fire spread and plugins such as gate/lift don't work on this as it is just a copy of the world."FIRE SPREAD, key word as many people had fireplaces and you may find towns in flame lol. Just make a temp server with map and turn fire spread off" Chests are also empty in this copy as worlddownloader only copies the world and not whats inside chests. Other then that I'll place Ironrock on the shelf along with our other cities. PM me or skype me about a copy.)) *Lock'eed Goes below deck of the ship and to his cabin. Folding a map of Auslon and the city map of Ironrock in a *worn dusty old book*. He places it in a gold trimmed chest beside four other books listed as The begining of Ironstone, The journeys through unknown, Ruststone and the undiscovered wastes, Irongate legends and now Lock'eed puts Ironrock Island in its place among the others.
  3. Not a damn thing is built you lazy taffers. The workshop is done and it houses the steam and redworks we've been working on. Very nice Brannty. As for the rest of you lazy bums this is really a sad excuse. Just because we maybe leaving soon doesn't automatically denote the option to stop your works. I'll be trying to manage some time to finish out the cathedral. Along with land negotiations, I've been very strapped on time. ((EDIT~November 21 2012~So it would seem everyone is bugged by the land deals that were all reneged on us and we have no where to go in the new map. As of right now bug out and do as you wish, however do so without being under the hammer banner. In time if there is still a place for us we'll regroup. For now I'm done trying to make land deals ic and ooc that get yanked out at the last minute.))
  4. "No it would seem something different is forcing the people from these lands. Not the void, no... the lands remain intact their nether hells are locked and it would seem the fabric of things is being lost, not the lands." Lock'eed shows Brannty his soulstone "watch". The stone is activated then goes pail then crumbles in his hand only to return to his pouch. "Seems the monk magics and among other things in these lands are breaking. So I've only been able to gather clues and rumors as to what these new lands hold for the people here. Nothing as bad as the corruption of dark pasts, but it shows signs it is his workings. Fear not the past tides but prepare yourself for the comming tides. It will be overcomed and we will look to see where we stand as builders in new strange lands, as we always do." Lock'eed smiles and pats Brannty on his shoulder reassuring him things arent as bad as they have heard. "Once I gather more details as to what is happening I'll gather everyone and convey the council as to what will happen with us. As for now I'll be getting back to my building, idle hands are but invitation to the trickster. Best keep busy to keep him away."
  5. Rumor and whispers among the stone halls can be heard. Something is comming in the near future, and the priests all agree that with the strange united dream and the books going blank can only point to one thing. Corruption looms once more upon these lands as well. While working on the cathedral Lock'eed is approached by two priests and a master forger. With them they open the books they carry to show Lock'eed. Lock'eed speaks as he looks over the blank pages "Blank tomes?" One of the priests speaks up.No sir, these were the books containing the glyph markings of old.Lock places his hammer and chisel down and takes the book in his hands, a flicker of fire seems to spark in his eyes as he thumbs through every page. Lock'eed hands the book back, stern look as he asks "You best not be jesting with me, if you are to say that every book in our lands is going dark?" Both priests look to the floor unable to answer, the master forger steps forward and answers Lock'eed. It is true, seems all our books have become blank. Along with the strange united lucid dream we all had, it certainly ties into something comming soon. "Dream? I had no such dream, been here working on the cathedral for days now it would seem".Lock picks his hammer and chisel back up, turning to the three he points his hammer northward."Send out four scouts, make sure they are of flight and not to daley.Better yet get the OoS on this one tell them the dark tides are upon us. They shall know what to do, all reports are to be directly given to me. Understood?" The two priests bow and and reply "understood". The master forger places his right fist upon his heart and replys "Builder be with us". Look'eed then turns back to his work looking up through the opening in the cathedral ceiling to the sky, he thinks back to lost lands of old where the chaos lord tore the lands away. Under his breathe Lock'eed speaks "So it would seem we move again.."
  6. St.Edgar's Cathedral *The morning rains subside and the cool dew can be tasted in the air as the sun shines through the open roof of the near completed cathedral. *Lock calls out to his people from near the novice library. "Gather round fellow hammers" *Lock Raises a hand to the skyline, the cathedral can be seen cresting over the walls and trees. Standing side by side with the castle it nearly touchs the clouds. "Standing tall the build is near complete my men, I've personally spent hours on this one and will continue doing so until we can hold our first all day and night sermon to the fallen and to St.Edgar himself" "Today though, we pour a seal for ourselves and our hard work so far" "For the Master Builder! May He guide us through these dark days into brighter days ahead"
  7. Just saw my sig is different, thought I was pulled in a group chat in skype didn't know that was a events room.I'll be on later this week, first week of the month is usually busiest so I'm alittle tied down at work.

  8. Recently we've had an artist come pay a visit to our lands. He has given us a very well created rendition of our builds and If you all can take the time to thank him I'd appreciate it. ((Thank you gabriel101x1 for the town video))
  9. Lock'eed takes a break from his current build and heads to his study. A few hours later Lock enters through the iron door into his study. Upon his desk a paper flutters under a iron ingot as the cool sea breeze blows in through the open balcony. Lock goes and sits in his chair, the soft wool pad feels welcoming after a long day of moving stone and timber. Moving the iron bar to the side the wind catchs the paper and grabs it up in a gust of wind "SNATCHED!, the paper is grabbed with a panicked hand in mid air!" panic sets in as lock has had very important papers blown out of his study and off his balcony before. There was many broken limbs that day as many novices had to crawl out on the rooftop of Ironrock castle to fetch those papers.Wiping off a bead of sweat from his brow lock opens the crumpled letter to barely read the following. Káin Nilfinion age 32, race Human. Tradeskills Bow and cooking, developing stealth skills. Some etched build schematics are still legible. The rest lock cannot read. *placing one hand over his face lock sighs heavily. Another gust of wind blows into the study blowing out the torchs and candle, Lock gets up and shuts the door and windows.Walking back to his desk lock opens a draw and pulls a parchment out to reply to the novice's letter.Káin Nilfinion I will be sending you a bird in the near future with how to begin your journey to Ironrock. In the mean time do begin to practice the "novice silence", May the Master Builder watch over thee and welcome to the order.
  10. Find a way to contact us in game we are secretive but we arent completely in the shadows. We can then begin a reasonable pm session to go over details and negotiations. Think about it, ic how can you find us then go from there. Be creative we have four avenues in which to go through to find out about us in game. They are there you can see them. Then make your way to contact us through it.

  11. The Ironrock castle took two weeks to build. That was collecting the resources and smelting and spare time in our real life endeavours to get complete. As for something to rival the two places you named, you're looking at the same amount of time and here is the kicker a huge fee. It's one thing to contract us out for builds, its another to request a castle build.

  12. The rising sun slowly begins to shine upon the castle of Ironrock. All the wild creatures that managed to avoid the patrols and hunters guild begin to burn upon the rays of the sun. The sunlight slowly creeps into Lock's tower windows. A painting above the fireplace shows the Master Builder smiting the trickster back to the shadows, a neatly made bed lays untouched and no where can Lock'eed be found. At the town gatehouse a single hammer can be heard clanging and working away on the beams and chiseling the stones. The single person stands to watch the sun rise letting the warmth of its rays shine on his bandaged body. For a moment the stoic silhouette remains motionless thinking back to a long forgotten place. "Norbert Slumber Falls near Irongate" Lock'eed then blinks a few times and looks again over the rising sun over the Novice district. Some of the windows he can see movement and once again the town begins anew day. Lock then turns back to his work and rebinds a fallen bandage over his arm and goes back to building. "Novice District ~ Tier One"
  13. Hire is a very open word. You have to be alittle more clear as to your intentions or just send me a letter as to being private. We like to try to keep contact ic and at all possible rp the contracting and such. There are times when encouraging rp or helping it along is needed but most the time you can always find a way ic to contact us.

  14. A notice hangs on all the message boards in each tier. " Lock'eed Ironheart was out in the wilds searching for dungeons and came across a forest ruins(real place). There he found a strange three leafed plant that grew ever so much on the trees and forest floors. Clearing his way through he came to what seemed to be a mass underground dungeon long forgotten. Before he could go any further however his hands began to burn and itch. Fearing some evil being had placed a wither on himself he soulstoned back home to Ironrock. It was later found that the burning and itching spread all over Lock's arms hands and chest. The town surgeon has deduced that Lock came in contact with an itching herb and has instructed Lock to keep to himself for a few elven weeks. As for anyone else avoid leafs of three " ((Had a bad run in with poison ivy, took some meds and had an even worse reaction. Got shots and pills from doc I'll be out for some time due to the fact its very hard to move my arms and hands.Brannty is in charge I'll try and pop on from time to time but it's really hard to type. And yeah I found some elven forest island well out in the wilds pretty neat place I'll post more on it in time. Do take care of these new pledges guys.))
  15. With the recent economic switch the lands trade system is currently converting over to emeralds and notes. So once we get set in with a bank the shops should be ready to reopen. ((They removed the shop plug, but once they add a new one we'll have a area for selective sales. Ie; fish stale, timber, ores and tools you get the picture not one shop will sell all the items it'll be open to each to compete.))
  16. * a novice barely makes it to Lock's study. Panting and breathing hard he hands Lock'eed a notice of entry. "Stay for a moment novice, take a seat and rest" *Lock then opens the letter and goes over it. He then pulls another paper out from his desk and begins to write a return letter. Handing it to the novice he then begins his long trek back down the towers staircase. Lock then turns and walks out onto the balcony overlooking the land and surveys all the new buildings that have recently gone up. The grounds are alot more active thinks Lock. Looking over the builds he counts off on his list what remains to be built and done. -List- Cathedral Dwarven Underground ~ Mostly allready carved out just needs places marked and begin work down there. Foundry ~ Marked near a lava room with four pouring vents Yard & Tinkershop ~ Marked in process of being built "Brannty & Lock'eed" Barracks & training grounds ~ Lock'eed Ironheart *Building First aid facility ~ Built, needs detail inside Natures gift tree ~ Planted, needs tending inside with herb growth Church ~ Built, needs detail inside Hunters lodge ~ Built, needs detail inside Tier three level out ~ We still need around 6k tonage of dirt Brewery ~ Named "Rollin IronRock Beer" need marked and begin work Guildhall for pledges ~ Built, needs basement detailed and classroom. Houses ~ Kept in scale with the rest of rural area Loggers mill ~ Plant an area for a mill to be made and started up Miners Guild Town Hall ~ Large enough to have a stage and long enough for row seating *Lock rolls the list back up wondering if he missed anything
  17. Right seems we have two new faces wanting to join. I'll have you placed at the guildhall for the time being on tier one. As for where you are allowed to walk around, tier one is the only level for new members.Once you prove your merit other tiers to the lands will open up and so forth. I'll also be looking to getting your trial by fire quests setup. Alex The Tall , welcome to the order. Adeilad Destinado , welcome to the order. Ok then make sure to go over all our lore and any questions send me a letter. I look forward to what you two have to offer and will be in contact soon about your quests. If you have second thoughts send me a letter telling me so. ((I will wait for replys from the two of you as to adding into the lands or hold off.))
  18. I've recently finished the Guardian statue in our east bay. However on inspection of the novices guidhall I found very dirty chests and near broken tools. Not very becomming of our hammerite ways, please place all near broken tools ((SHEARS <-- there expensive make sure to not break them)) in a chest signed in your main hall room. This way If I'm in the area I can have a guard take them to the smithe to have repaired for you. I've already taken the time and had most all near broken tools sent to the smithe and he has brought them back to the owners of holding. As for the glyph book I've been informed that I'm to retain the original copy and to make a description book for the library and to give out decoders through mail instead. N'duvius has told me to have our codes in the library would be easy access to any brazen thief to copy them. So send me a letter ((pm)) and I'll send a copy to you. I'll also begin placing glyph markers when the guards get back from clearing the mines this night.
  19. Welcome back from your long vacation.

  20. * Looks over the posted notes and places a new one on the pledge guildhalls front door. I will personally see to it that the mines have better markings. In doing so I'll have a book brought to the pledges on glyph direction translation. By no means should anyone openly mark directions on signs but only use glyphs. These are used in pointing the direction to safe rooms and ways of direction in large areas. Last please do not make pets of the gelatin creatures. We all can testify to Jarl and his pet incident with "Slimer" not only where we falling on our rears all the time from that things mess in the halls but the smell itself was worse then a dead bovine in extreme desert heat. If you have to study slimes do so in the mines and not in the grand halls. Thank you. Lock'eed Ironheart
  21. Good tidings Lee Scorsby I am Lock'eed Ironheart, High Priest of our Hammerite order. I heard much about you and look forward to hearing much about your tales and knowledge of the past. As for thieving among our order, you do not need worry. For the trickster does not dwell within our walls nor our shadows. The Builder has blessed me with a long standing following of trusted men and women of all ages an races. And if you are in need of a lock well then I can arrange for the finest crafted lock chest for you. In the order we do strive to rise above material needs and look to the better of our kin. For in death you cannot take with you the richs or ores you found in your life. For the ultimate reward is to become immortal with the builds you help create. May it be of stone or of mind, to be recalled in storys or to have your name in stone on a build. This will surely make the Master Builder smile upon you. To have ones name echoed throughout the ages is the greatest wealth any Hammer could aquire. The building of grand structures and that of minds, tis everything is in the Master Builders plans. Make certain they all have strong foundations. Journal entry of Lock'eed Ironheart
  22. Welcome to the order Locke Blackthorne. I've gone over the paperwork and have sent word through the order to be expecting you. I am sure you have already met a few of the hammers while here. And as for your trial by fire I'm still going over some details with my colleagues on what quest to send you on. I'll be in contact soon about this as for now take some time to become familiar with our order. Any questions feel free to ask, however there are some things that will remain secret until you have proven yourself. Regards Lock'eed Ironheart Vigilance is our shield, that protects us from our squalid past. Knowledge is our weapon, with which we carve a path to an enlightened future. ~ The Hammer Book of Tenets 2:2 ~
  23. Why yes the excavation of the two statues, it would seem we have some contact with oren. Much apologies the night grows late and I was weary. I will correct that good sir.
  24. The Order of the Hammer In the beginning we lived as thieves, stealing fur and fang of beasts for survival. Then came the Builder who brought us the hammer, and with it we forged a new way of life. To reject the hammer is to denounce The Builder. ~The Hammer Book of Tenents 1:1~ Welcome traveler of Asulon, for I am Lock'eed Ironheart High Priest of the thirteenth chapter of the Hammerite Order. I will be your guide as I take you through the history, writings and teachings of our order. Nah! somethings I will not reveal of the oganization as they are kept secret and only high ranking members are allowed witness to such secrets. Maybe you will prove your merit and gain access to the orders great secrets, only time will tell. So let us be off on our journey through the times and trials of our order. Heed these warnings! For what I'm about to tell you may seem alittle strange, far fetched if you may... You can either listen or leave now the choice is yours. ((This is our religous ideology)) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jKo-UoPZZ_k The years do not matter, however the worlds are different. We share the same trees, animals and way of life. We are all conected through the Creator and the deity children that watch over us. It's with these deities that we all follow, in the begining there was but the Creator. In the vast voids of the darkness the Creator made many worlds, stars and the heavens we see above us. Time would pass and the Creator grew alone and with that looked to create four children to keep company among the heavens. True form of good was created "Law" for he was just and good, next was "Chaos" for he was the opposite of his brother Law, Life was then created and she was mother to all living things and last was the balance to each of the three the Builder for with this last deity was the embodiment of free will. We all have the essence of the Builder in us it is with this that we either go the path of righteousness or through the dark halls of corruption and evil, it is with this that some follow the laws of life and protect all living things. And last it is with the following of the Builder that the Hammerites were born. We choose to follow directly in the path of the Builder as caretakers to the balances of good and evil to keep check life and the world around us. We choose to watch over and keep the balance. With our builds and with the Hammer as our gift from the heavens we keep a vigilant watch. ~ Book of the Dawn ~ The stone cannot know why the chisel cleaves it. The iron cannot know why the fire scorches it. When thy life is cleft and scorched, when death and despair leap at thee, beat not thy breast and curse thy evil fate. But thank the Builder for the trials that shape thee. ~ The Hammer Book of Tenets 6:3 ~ Here are the Hammerite ten commandments 1.Thou shalt place no other gods above The Builder. 2.Thou shalt not forge for thyself or worship a carved image of any idol lest it be of The Hammer. 3.Thou shalt not commit heresy against The Builder's Name. 4.Thou shalt remember the Day of Forging, so thou mayest keep it holy. 5.Thou shalt honor thy father and mother, for they were forged in the Likeness of The Builder. 6.Thou shalt not murder, unless it's a heathen, in which case, pound thy heathen's skull into the ground with thine Hammer of Holy Wrath. 7.Thou shalt commit no adultery against thine mate. 8.Thou shalt not steal from the House of the Builder. 9.Thou shalt not bear false witness against thine Brother. 10.Thou shalt not covet thy Brother's house, thy Brother's wife, nor his servant, nor his burrick, nor his mistress, nor anything that is thy Brother's. I myself have been in the order for many decades now, as for my origins they are kept secret to the Builder and myself and a few others. The order is secretive in the fact that we do not openly show the world our existence. We do not openly preach or try and convert everyone, however we do seek out the gifted and offer a chance to join the order. And as does fate the gifted find us, "praise the Builder and his plan". A true balance can be tested in a build and with that we seek out to build structures all throughout the lands. Ironrock Castle Now let me go over some of the benefits that one will be given upon joining our order. 1. Paid vacations and sick days. 2. Good health package plans which include a very detailed dental and dismemberment plan. Please check with the orders surgeon on which plan suits you. 3. Safe banking to store your coin. 4. A community of family and friends loyal to the end. 5. Community vault for all to use. 6. Community coin for all to use. 7. Everyone has a voice, you hold power to voice your concerns and problems. 8. No taxs, we provide for eachother and in doing so no one is required to pay taxs while under the roof of the Builder. 9. Jobs advancement 10. Show great merit and dedication to the order and the High priest will bestow on you great titles. ((I donate for members if they show exemplary conduct in the order and ooc)) 11. The best God to watch over you, and protect you. Though you have to be mindful for building ugly structures does anger him. But he is forgiving and will allow for mistakes as is with all trials in life. 12. We hold no malice to any race or gender, all are welcome. Political Stances Ally Warmly Kindly Amiable Indifferent Apprehensive Dubious Threateningly War Oren : Orc Nations : Halflings : Mori : Elven Nations : Dwarven Nations : The Kharajyr : How to become a pledge? We have but one solid rule. Dedication to one town, you are free to leave whenever you please but we ask you keep a discretion on telling others what you saw and learned while in the order. ((Too many people play in different towns on same accounts it creates to much chance of ooc meta gaming and a loss of team pride. I have no issues if you want to go to events and rp as different characters temporarily. It's when Jim lives as Jack in enemy town and relays information back to friends in other town that it becomes a problem.)) Parchment to scribe your information on. ((-Mc name-)) ((-RL age-)) ((-Time frame so others can group and play together-)) -Your name as was given at birth- -Age- -Race- -Tradeskills- -Noteable builds-((post spoilers of pictures if you have any)) -Job title you wish to seek- -Quote a Hammerite Commandment and why you picked it- -Hammerite Voucher, this entitles the person to bypass the trial by fire quests. If you have no voucher then leave blank, be prepared for a very difficult quest- Now I've left alot unanswered and our lore is a tightly guarded, if you have any questions please send me a letter((PM IC <-- I really dislike tells in game as they ruin in my opinion roleplay. I'm very busy and I perfer PM's to tells. Thank you)) and I will get with you or have a Hammer contact you. This also applies to build contracts and pledges, if I'm free I will try and speak with every letter but I cannot guarantee I can. I am after all the High Priest of our order and it is kind of taboo to speak to me directly, but I will make exceptions to certain cases. As I leave you to ponder know this that the town of Ironrock is made of three tiers for each area of the grounds is earned access and some areas are locked to certain people. Much of the city just like any other city has its places of access and places of locked areas. Will you come fourth to prove your worth among the Hammers? Only you can decide your destiny. ((All credit of Hammerite lore and images and movies are to be credited to the respectable authors. Most the credit goes to looking glass studios for making such an awesome game Thief. Only small changes were made to the original lore of the game's Hammerites to fit in with Minecraft and Lotc lore, thank you.If you have any complaints or comments please pm me and not to post on here, thank you.))
