  1. Out-Of-Character Minecraft Account Name:bobthebagel234 How old are you?:13 Time-Zone/Country of Residence:Mountain Standard/United States Do you have a good grip on the English language/good grammar?:Yes. I'm still a little bit off, though, and I'm working on it. Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself:I am not one for battle, truthfully. I stay away from arguments and disputes as best as I can. I am one who intervenes others's disagreements and try to help fix the problem. How much time could you be on the server weekly?:About 23-25 hours. What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you:To me, roleplaying is being what you want to be, which, in reality either doesn't exist anymore or never had. Roleplaying allows you to do what one couldn't otherwise. It admits you to a dream. What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?:I have played on World of Warcraft, Free Realms, and on the Minecraft server XRPCraft. In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is:It is using Out-Of-Character and previous knowledge that your character wouldn't know as an advantage over others. Say, character A comes across Boss A. If player A had looked online for help, he would know Boss A's weakness, whereas if he hadn't, he wouldn't know Boss A's weakness and therefore taking much longer to beat the boss legitimately. It is, in a sense, cheating. In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Gaming is:It is declaring that an action that your character has done is successful without giving the other player(s) any time at all to react, making it so that you always win. What do you expect this server will be like?:I expect that this will be a darned good server, and judging by what I've seen as a Wandering Soul, there will be plenty of things to make this roleplay as realistic as possible, and yet still retaining the fantasy atmosphere. What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?:I have played on XRPCraft, Lividus, and a few others, but I left generally because hardly anyone followed the rules and there was way too much profanity for me. Have you read, understood, and agreed to the rules?:Yes. Do you promise to abide by said rules, and laws? This includes the Server, Forum, and Teamspeak set Rules:Why, of course. How did you hear about us?::Under the Minecraft Forum page for Noppes's MorePlayerModels mod, there is the heading "Servers," and the only one underneath that heading was you. You sounded interesting, and I decided to check you out. And here I am. Have you previously made an Application? If so could you link us to your last Application?:Yes, I have previously made an application, but unfortunately, I cannot link you to it. Sorry! In-Character: Character Name:I am Grasiu Thornbracket What Race are you?:I am an Elf. What Sub-Race are you? (note, you aren’t required to have a sub-race):I am a High Elf. Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):My father, Likus Thornbracket, was a traveling salesman back in the once-prosperous land of Aegis. Father was a tall, strong elf, and he never gave up on his deliveries. He was very successful, or so I heard. On one of the many trips he made in his 840 year life, he met Rauro Yoerry, a fair, beautiful elf, at Laurelin, and it was almost literally love at first sight. However, when they met, they were to shy to talk to each other. It was not until Father's next trip to Laurelin that they had the courage to talk to each other. They met again in the same place as last year. This time they talked, and talked, and continued talking well into the night. The next day, when Likus was going to leave, Rauro insisted on going with him. Likus agreed, and insisted that Porkington, his beast of burden, carry his wares and he would carry Rauro's belongings. Rauro and Likus were together for the rest of his route, and at the end of the last day,he propsed to her. She said yes, and were married two months later. It was not long since they had their only child, Grasiu Thornbracket. Unfortunately, shortly after I was born, the Undead attacked. Likus took what little weapons we had (stone sword, bow and arrows) to help defend against the Undead. He died the next week. Mother and I managed to survive long enough for us to get on the boats to Asulon. But alas, Mother died when we were nearly there. I managed to get on a boat as it was leaving. I'm sure that the series of events that happened before I left that made me that paranoid nutball I am today. Currently, I am 371 years old. My long blonde hair is usually tied back into a braid to prevent it from getting in the way of my work. I own a small farm and I am currently the only one who lives there. I am VERY paranoid and will not let anyone near my farm unless they truthfully inform me of their business, with the exception of friends (which are hard to come by, given my severe paranoia). I am typically wearing my bronze work boots, green tunic, and leather jacket. I have in my hair a silver ring with a ruby embedded in it, which was all that I could retrieve of my mother's belongings when she died. Every year I bring some of my crop to market. What are your Character's ambitions?:It is simply to help others with their problems and ultimately make Asulon a better place. What is your character’s favorite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc):My favorite tool is a hoe, as I am a farmer. What is one of your Character's most skilled talents? As one who works with animals a lot, I now how to get them where they belong without having to drive them too hard. A screenshot of your skin (must be in proper format, if you do not know how to acquire one, copy and paste this link into your browser: ( http://tinyurl.com/Lotcscreenshot ): Other Information about your Character:When he’s not working hard on the farm, he can often be found relaxing in his house singing little ditties that he thinks may someday become folk songs to himself, or telling the village children homespun tales of a faraway land where everyone travels in huge, noisy, metallic beasts, where structures have minds of their own and construct said beasts. These strange tales, which are concocted in his mind while he works, almost always fascinate them. Open-Response-Questions Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond?I would ask the warriors to stop. If that doesn't work, I could lure them away from the halfling with a few Minas. When they are close I will throw the few Minas away from the halfling, and if the warriors follow it, I will quickly escort the halfling to safety. Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response?I would first look at the wares and make sure that there's actually somthing that I need. If so, I would check said item's price. If I can afford it, I will consider it. I would go through all of the wares in this fashion, and then determine what I must buy (if anything) by analyzing how much it is needed. If, however there is something that I think I need to an incredible extent, I will have to remember what happened to Malin and his brothers and fight the temptation to purchase such an exquisite object. Maybe. Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?:Since I am usually generous, I'll probably take the items and sell them to a local merchant, thus earning myself money, and in turn causing the merchant to earn more money, and again in turn, stimulating the economy and hopefully keeping it safe. You know, just in case. Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you in the common tongue, how do you respond? After greeting them myself, I would tell them of my horrible predicament. If they offer me shelter and food, I shall accept it, return the favor by helping anyone who may need it, until I am able to locate and return to my home, being sure to respect them and still be wary of their intentions, as the Ancient History has taught me to always be sure of one’s motives to be sure they aren’t planning on turning on you. You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?:I would probably be scared at first, but after thinking about it, I will remember what I have learned from reading the Ancient History and what it means to protect what is important as much as you can, and I will most likely volunteer for such a dangerous position. Anything else you would like to say?:No.
