Azron Oakenaxe
What Race are you? (You may only be Human, Orc, Elf or Dwarf!) :
Dwarf
What Sub-Race are you? (note, you aren’t required to have a sub-race):
Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):
I, Azron, of the land of Gilvir (far from Kal'Urguan), born and raised in the mountains of Threshon, do hereby declare my proud history. I dwelt in the mountains for nearly all my life, and mining is my pride and joy. I was brought up by parents who's whole life dealt with mining, and I was put to work in them at a young age. At the proud age of twenty I began my training as a dwarf warrior. I was taught in the ways of the sword, and of the battle ax. I can wield both with deadly accuracy. My mountainous clan was plunged into a bitter war with a tribe of Orcs a few years later, and I fought for my people and for my land. My people respect them, but they are enemies nonetheless. All I can remember from that terrible day is the clanging of metal on metal and the bellows of my fellow dwarfs. Alas, my people lost and the land of my ancestors was taken. I vowed from then on that I would work and build my strength so that next time I fought, I would not be defeated so easily.
Henceforth I have been wandering, traveling from village to village, and training. I hope for a place to call home once again. My ax has rusted and I long to hear the sounds of battle once again. I know not of the affairs of my people or of the whereabouts of the remaining dwarf settlements. My income has been mining and selling ores along the road, and I have not met many other dwarfs. I have experienced much in my lifetime. My feet grow weary and I do not wish to travel any longer. I have arrived at the land of Asulon only recently, and it looks intriguing- a land where many races exist together, fighting, trading, and building- and it looks like a place where I can build a home, or travel abroad.
I am a regular dwarf size for a dwarf of 76 with a trimmed brown beard and a vast array of weapons and tools. I wear iron armor on my short, stout body and take pride in my intellect and strength, even though I am a lonely traveler. I have a love for battle and a love for food, as long as it is accompanied with a good drink! I am a rough person, but I have my heart in the right place. I want to be an adventurer. I am a mountain dwarf I may I may not have much patience, but I am able, and willing, to do all I can to fight again... and this time, I hope to win. I need more training and time before that, and I am no superior warrior. But I long to live here, in the great land of Asulon.
What are your Character's ambitions?:
To avenge my people, and also to settle down instead of wandering. I love mining and the feeling of danger, and battle.
What is your character’s favorite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc):
The pickaxe. It is a symbol of my proud history and my usual tool.
What is one of your Character's most skilled talents?
Getting along with others peacefully. Even though I have a short temper and am usually going to get angry rather quickly, I have a knack for knowing who to talk to and how to interact. I can resolve fights and people see me as a nice, but rather solemn, character (once they get to know me and get on my nice side).

Open-Response-Questions
Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond?
I would draw me ax, but not attack. Although it seems that the warriors are stealing from a defenseless halfling, I would not interact without more information. I would never pass a scene like this without trying to fix it. Firstly, I would question the warriors. If they were guards trying to take back stolen money that was rightfully theirs, I would aid them. But if the halfling was innocent and the warriors were doing it for sport, no excuses, I would beat them senseless.
Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response?
I would stop and buy something. I am a traveler, but I have income from mining and am always interested in new wares and materials. My favorites are buying new weapons or food. I have a passion for good food on the road, and could not pass this up without buying something from the kind gentleman.
Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?:
I would leaver it be and instruct others to do the same. It is rightfully someones property, and I am not a thief. I would never steal, even if no on else was around. If I had extra tools that I did not need to use, I would leave them there in the chest for the owners benefit. After all, I would like that to happen to me.
Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond?
Gladly, and gratefully. I would be wary of them, since they are strangers who I do not know, but a dwarf should never go hungry. I cannot resist a good warm meal, and would trade with them happily, and maybe ask for directions to the nearest town.
You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?:
I would jump up and immediately aid the town guard. Bandits are always bad news: and the reward is encouraging. Even if there weren’t a reward, I would help as much as I could. I enjoy a little fight. It gets my blood flowing and my nerves alight.
Anything else you would like to say?:
No. I have said all I need to. I look forward to living in the land of Asulon, as soon as possible.
