  1. duxunited 16 years old Eastern Standard Time Yes I have a good grip on the English language and grammar. I'm a 16 year old boy from the East coast of the United States. I'm humorous, enthusiastic, and fun. I really enjoy roleplaying servers. On account of the fact that it is summer and I just got a new computer, I'd say I'll be playing quite a lot. Roleplaying is when a person takes on the role of a someone or something. This actor uses all of the traits and characteristics of his or her role to make the roleplaying experience better. I was recently on another server called Heroes of Galderon which had strict roleplaying as well. I've acted in plays if that counts and I've made my own home movies. Meta-Gaming is using outside information that a character does not or should not know to give him advantages. Power-emoting is giving another players actions for them. For instance, attacking a player and saying you stabbed them when in reality, they could've dodged. I'm basing my assumptions on this server based on the other roleplaying server I was on. I assume there will be a lot of roleplaying with other people and fun. I'd like to level up my character and choose a class that is great. I played on Heroes of Galderon and I left because not much was going on with role playing. Yes, I have read the rules and completely agree to them. I promise to abide by the rules. I heard about Lord of the Craft off of a PlanetMinecraft.com post which said that this server was the best for roleplaying. I have not previously made an application. In-Character Adius Rane Human No sub race STORY Adius and Fletcher were best friends. Since the day they were born and 16 years after, they were inseparable. Both lived in a quiet human village in the middle of the forest with their families. They did everything together, but their favorite hobby was archery. The two boys practiced their marksmanship all of the time. They'd hunt squirrels and rabbits from the morning until night and would feast on their game deep in the woods. The locals would say that the boys were like wood elves, constantly jumping from tree to tree and shooting arrows everywhere. Some days, Adius and Fletcher would challenge each other to contests. Both boys were brilliant bowmen, however, Fletcher always won the games they played. Adius never felt jealous though. He admired his friend and always tried his best to be like him. The boys encouraged each other to be the best that they could be and because of that, both were fantastic. Adius was an average sized boy, not too big and not too small. He was a nimble child, able to outrun the fastest of deer. He was clever and quick-witted. Adius was also a very charismatic talker and could convince most people of anything. In this way, Adius could lie very well. He was a loyal friend which was apparent in his relationship with Fletcher. The two boys together with their archery skills could protect the village if need be. However, one day, it would not be two boys, but only one. Fletcher and Adius sprinted through the woods at top speeds. With unbelievable accuracy, the friends quickly shot down a flock of birds, one by one. Satisfied with their kills, they prepared the fowls for a snack. Fletcher left to find firewood as Adius skinned the birds. It seemed like only minutes that Fletcher was gone when he returned hastily. "Adius!" Fletcher whispered urgently. Without waiting for an him, Fletcher dashed back to where he had come. Adius ran after him, confused and concerned at what was going on. When he had arrived, he understood why Fletcher was anxious. They had come to the edge of the forest which met a dirt road. On the path, an old man lay on the ground whimpering. Standing over his limp body were too muscular and large thugs. They both carried iron swords in their sheaths. "Foolish old man..." one said. "You should have simply paid the 'fine' for crossing into our territory." "Yea, now, instead of the small fine, we're gonna take everything you own!" said the other. The elder only shivered in pain. Adius could make out the bloodstain leaking on his chest. He looked away in sadness. How cruel could these men possibly be. Judging by the look on Fletcher's face, he felt the same way. The only difference was that he was filled with rage. "Fletcher, let's not be rash. We need to think about this." Adius whispered to his companion. But it was too late. Fletcher was so passionate about protecting the innocent old man that he charged the two armed villains. Lifting a large branch over his head, Fletcher struck one of the goons, successfully knocking him down. However, in a split second, Fletcher was stabbed by the other man. As his body slumped to the ground, the man laughed. His accomplice got off the ground and chuckled as well. "Damn you, Fletcher," Adius said to himself, tears streaking down his cheeks. "You're a master archer and you decide to run in with a club." Adius held himself together and took a deep breath. Exhaling, he fired two precision arrows at the heads of the criminals in one second. In the following second, two bodies fell to the ground. Now the dirt path leading to his village held four corpses. Two innocent and two vile. Adius stumbled to his friend's body. He couldn't help but sob. He cried out, "Someone help! Anyone!" In a matter of minutes, local farmers came to his aid. Adius explained the situation to them as they prepared to gather the bodies. He felt miserable. He didn't react fast enough to help his best friend. And now, Fletcher was gone. Gone forever. His gifts were wasted by the murder of two evil bandits. As the townspeople gathered around Fletcher's grave during his funeral, Adius left. He gathered his belongings and departed from his small village. He didn't know where he would go. He had no idea what would happen. All Adius knew was that he would never allow the innocent to suffer. He would stop evil from ever corrupted peaceful lands again. In honor of Fletcher, Adius would master the art of the bow and arrow and become a great hero. Fletcher's death would not be in vain. My character's ambitions are to become a master bowman, a protector of good people, and a hero among all. Adius' favorite weapon is a bow. He is exceptional with any bow placed in his hands. Adius is very nimble, clever, and charismatic. He is truly amazing with a bow and is very good with parkour. My Character Picture: Adius is emotionally scarred about Fletcher's death. He doesn't like to talk about his past at all. Open Response Questions Adius flashes back to his memory of Fletcher's death. Without hesitation, he fires an arrow towards the armed warriors. Luckily for them, it is only a warning shot. It gets the message across as it gives both men a small haircut. Immediately, they drop the halfling in fear. They expect to see a brave knight standing above them. Instead they see Adius, a 16 year old boy. Snickering at the sight, the warriors reach for their swords. However, two more arrows sent by Adius knock the swords right out of their hands. Realizing that they are in over their heads, the men flee the scene. "Hello, sir. I don't really need any supplies. I'll just find it in the wild and make my own tools. If I find I'm desperate for anything, I'll make sure to come back to your stand. Thank you." After discovering the chest filled with loot, Adius snagged all of the contents. After all, the hut is most likely abandoned and he could use anything to survive in the wilderness. Adius would rest a day in the friendly camp and buy any food and supplies that he would need. Before his departure, Adius would either buy a map or ask for directions. At the thought of bandits threatening the town, Adius automatically volunteers to drive them out. He has a hatred for evil-doers who kill and steal for fun. However, despite doing the job without a reward, Adius happily accepts the pay. I have nothing else to say except that I hope to be roleplaying soon!
