I’m an English scholar who can’t stand poor grammar. Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: Two of my greatest passions are music and gaming. I have gamed for about six years now and consider myself a connoisseur of the art. At the moment I have a lot of time on my hands which I spend writing and weight-lifting in preparation for the rugby season to come round again. My mum is a lawyer and urges me to become one too, but I have my eyes set on a more creative career. My teachers also tell me that I speak with advanced vocabulary and am mature beyond my age. How much time could you be on the server weekly?: I usually spend about 8 hours a week gaming, 4 of which are dedicated to minecraft, minus week-ends. What do you know about Roleplaying?: Give a definition of what it means to you: RPG’s are my favourite type of games, especially MMO’s. They play a rather big part of my life because I enjoy them so much. Some, such as Final Fantasy 10 and below have helped me shape my life, although that is going a bit far. What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?: As mentioned above, I play a lot of them. The most memorable are: The Final Fantasy series, The Souls series and Xenoblade Chronicles. In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is: Meta-gaming is when one’s created character uses the knowledge of the creator when the actual in game character should not possess that knowledge. In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Emoting is: Power-emoting is when one character uses emotes to take away the ability of another player and not allow them to prevent what you emote. Essentially you are playing God. Ex. “John cuts off Billy’s leg” Fixed: “John swings his sword at Billy’s leg” What do you expect this server will be like?: I hope that it will have other players like me in it that are passionate about RPG’s and enjoy having the company of others around them during their experience. Basically, I want people to play with that also enjoy co-operative or hostile play. What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: This will be my first massively online minecraft server, I have played amongst friends on their own private servers and it is those same friends that directed me here. How did you hear about us?: Other minecraft friends that used to own and play on private servers directed me to this one, and walking around as a wandering soul, I like what I see. Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.): When I was ten my mother gave me my first axe. She told me that if I practiced hard with it, I could one day become a master of it. I never knew my father, he wasn’t dead and he hadn’t run away, he just didn’t even know that I was born. My mother told me he was a great craftsman and that he could forge the most powerful of weapons on a whim. He was the one that had made his axe and I intend to use it as he saw fit. My mother was an assassin. She would dress in a black gown, and bore two golden axes. She had a limited knowledge of engineering that she used when she didn’t want to get here hands messy, she taught her use of red stone to me, and to this day I can still recall it. The day I turned twelve the house was ransacked by bandits, fifteen attacked and another three lay wait outside. They attacked my mother and brought her down, although at a heavy cost to themselves. She managed to kill nine of them and wound one, the leader. Almost out of pity they took me with them, always keeping a close eye on me in case I turned on them, I didn’t. But they didn’t know that I was biding my time. I had now grown to the age of sixteen and fallen in love with one of them. A nineteen year old girl named Liliana, as time went on our relationship started to grow and the bandits realised what was happening, they didn’t want an outsider to get too involved. Eventually it came to a point that I spent the night in her tent, it was the day I had decided to leave and she wanted to say goodbye. Before leaving we shared a moment together. I had just one more thing to fulfil, I snuck into the leader of the bandits tent and slid my axe across his right forearm, to remind him that although I had the chance to kill the man that finished off my mother, I spared him. Thirty days later I had nowhere to go, I couldn’t go to the bandits, they had moved on by now and I couldn’t travel back to the city, not with my mother’s reputation, so I spent the next month in the woods, learning how to climb trees and find my way around a forest. While doing so I can came across a land I hadn’t heard of before. The locals called it, Asulon. What are your Character's ambitions?: I wish to become a messenger of peace, to spread joy and happiness. If that requires force then so be it. What is your character’s favourite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc): Axe. What is one of your Character's most skilled talents?: Blacksmithing. Open-Response-Questions: Whilst travelling from the Cloud Temple you see a small Halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond?: I don’t approach them, although I know that picking on Halflings is wrong, I still believe it is every man for himself on the roads. Should I want to intervene I would attempt to call on the while hidden. Tell them to leave the Halfling be and if they didn’t they would have to pay the consequences. Some say that my morals are wayward, but if you were in my position, you would realise that the odds are not on my side and there is nothing for me to gain. Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response?: I appreciate the pleasantries but I do not require anything from your stall, information on the other hand is very valuable. Can you tell me what goes on around this city; I would like the name of the richest men and women. Who knows, there may even be a tidy sum of money for you. Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?: My policies are every man for himself, although I do not approve of stealing from men of the wilds, I only take from those who have enough and an excess they do not deserve. I would leave the golden sword and iron bars, whoever owns them obviously went to a great deal of trouble to get them and just because the house looks abandoned, doesn’t mean it is. Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you in the common tongue, how do you respond?: I share their company and eat and drink with them. Who knows, if they have any pretty women, they might be in for a good time as well. However, business does come before pleasure, and if I’m out there, there will be a good reason. You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?: Any chance to make a penny is a good one. I do not act on behalf of the city or the people in it, but for the reason that any bandits on the road may have information on the whereabouts of my father, and I intend to find him. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.): My father was an architect/blacksmith, some called him a magician with his hands and my mother was a practicing white witch. When they bore me, they intended for me to grow up normal and carry on our family’s career from my father. When I turned the tender age of 10 I had my first vision, I collapsed onto the floor in a heap. In it I saw a future me, I could not see his face under a cowl and his robes covered his whole body, they were a miraculous blue and black, I could only feel that his presence was the same as mine, telegraphing that he was me. Below his left hand was an enchanting table and hovering over his right were three weapons: a sword, an axe, and a bow. The bow and axe dropped to the floor and the sword began to rotate and transcend everything else, covered in a purple glow. That was when I woke up lying on my bed with my mother next to me and praying. Unlike normal stories there was no sorrow in my life, just a desire to become better at my craft. I discovered a material that I named redstone in my not long ago when I was 23. Imbuing it with magic meant that I could create contraptions that opened and close at the flick of a switch. This, coupled with my mastery of blacksmithing and enchanting made my village very powerful and a foe to be reckoned. I eventually had to flee when word got out about me and how I made my village so powerful; people hunted me down but couldn’t find me. I learnt about peace in the wilderness, and kindness filled my heart. I wish not to make weapons of war any longer unless there is not another option. What are your Character's ambitions?: I wish to become a messenger of peace, to spread joy and happiness, but when either my friends or family are targeted, I set myself free and destroy them with the wonderful crafting I inherited from my parents. Should they attack, I would pull one of my enchanted swords out and defend the Halfling with my life. What is your character response?: I appreciate the pleasantries but I do not require anything from you or your stall. How would your character respond?: Considering the hut is abandoned, I would take the iron bars and gold sword, waste not want not. Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond?: May I share your company tonight in feast, I will reward you handsomely for your kindness. You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?: There need not be any civilian casualties and the fewer guards injured the better. I would give them my full support and take the reward.
